  I've had my printer for about two months now, and at the beginning I had no problem with printing. I was thrilled that the printer has the ability to duplex printing to save paper, but all of a sudden my printer is more two-sided printing even if the "meetings" are checked in the print menu that appears before printing. I would go to the bottom of this, because I prefer to take advantage of the features of the printer and save paper. Double-sided printing can be enacted in one of two ways. Either you select double-sided as an option when you go to print a print job, or you set the driver to duplex by default values. According to the printer model, you can also apply duplexing by telling the duplex printer all. It is model specific and you do not specify the pattern here, so I can't give you the exact details.

  When I print 2 Facer, the second page is upside down. I looked for solutions on this forum and on the net, but nothing helped. I have installed new drivers, checked all the available boxes. The one I need ('turn page' or something like that) is not found.

  I have a new HP6700, to replace an old HP6700 which made duplex very well, but became old. Why is it suddenly so hard to make something of my old printer without problems?

  Thanks for your reply. In the meantime I discovered that the most important step is NOT to install the printer via AirPrint, but using HP6700. Only, then you have the possibility to click on the duplex option and install the printer with the 4.1.2 pilot.

• Double-sided printing last page backwards

  I have a HP 8620 printer hooked to my mac OSX 10.7. Whenever I choose to print something from double-sided it prints with back page backwards. I tried to select the "reverse page orientation" box under the two-sided options and there is no change.

  When you select "Double-sided", choose "binding on the edge Long ' rather ' short binding side.

  I just bought a HP Envy 4500 e-all-in-one printer and tried to print photos from my MacBook Pro (Mountain Lion OS X 10.9 (13 A 603)). For some reason any, that it will print the first photograph, then my Mac says it's printing the rest, but they do not print.

  Thanks for the very quick response.

  I was talking with some of my colleagues and we would like you to try the following steps.  Once you have completed the steps please try again to print from iPhoto.

  (1) Please reset your printing system, I have included a document on how to do it. Please be aware that this reset deletes all print settings and pending print jobs from your Mac.

  (2) in the "printers and scanners' click on the '+' and select 'Add another printer or scanner' options

  

  (3) select your desire 4500 and at the bottom where it says "USE:" Please change to the Envy of HP Photosmart series.

  

• ENVY 4500 that partially prints a page

  4500 newly installed FANCY, use wifi. Prints either: only two pages, be two third of a page of what any. HP Print and Scan doctor, test page seems OK with all colors represented, but it is only printed on the top half of the page (not sure what the page should look like). With the help of WIndows 8 and the error message: "printer could not print word / PDF etc ' when printing stops. I tried shutting down and turn both machines. Can someone help me please?   I have a similar problem with my HP Envy 4504.

  I use Windows 7 service pack 1 and a 64 bit system.

  When I print documents that are greater than a page of the printer does not print the entire document.

  Now he stopped after 4/7 pages, a few moment a go after 3/7 pages. Even a 2 page document prints only half.

  I get no error. The printer stops just feel like at some point to a page... I reinstalled the drivers twice and have the same problem on two devices that are connected to the printer (one of them is a computer hp laptop).

• HP color laserjet m451 print 2nd page upside down, why?

  I have a HP Color laserjet m451dn which has a capacity of dulpex automatic. I created a two page brochure in Adobe InDesign CS3. In printing the file, it prints the second page upside. I have front and back on or go back upstairs, the 2nd page is upside down. It does this with my pages of graphics program as well. Can print a Web page, document word without problem [with several pages]. Even if I select "print on both sides" and "Finish" even problem.

  Can I print one page at a time? I'm sure I can, but could someone give me the correct instructions: what [s] sandbox use: ending of paper and how to I insert in the tray (external or internal) which direction?

  I found the solution on my own. As I have said, it was only happening with InDesign CS3 and Corel Draw. I don't think it has to do with the programs BUT, Ta Ta! Here is the solution that I found:

  1. open the print dialog box

  2. After you have put [a journal] in the [set #1] outside bar in the print dialog box, select "Paper Source", then in Tray 1 Manual power.

  3. Select 'Finish' and check "Print on both sides", and then print the first side.

  4. a 'message' on the printer control panel will come [heck, I forgot what he said <> but something to the effect that I should continue the process of printing].

  It allows to print the first side, then pull the paper back and the second part print correctly! YEEPEEEE!

  It worked and if you have a faster procedure, please let me know. Sometimes to find a "work around" and it works, even if it takes more time do you! But if one more easy procedure that is faster and less "hoops" to pass, my boy.  .  .  I'm a game for it!

  Is do what ya have to do, but if a faster easier way comes along, PAHLEEZE! Let me know!

Double-sided printing option was available before but it dissappeared from the option, there were 4 options before but only one side and manual double-sided print were left. I can't seem to find where to make this option to return and I have urgent need for printing. I can't print the application pdf, word documents, online either.  IM using asus computer laptop with envy 4500 hp printer, please help me as soon as possible.

  The duplexer must be enabled in the driver.  Follow these steps: go to the folder, devices and printers, right-click on Envy 4500, printer properties, settings of the device, Installation Options, and then set it to the duplex unit installed, apply.

  Make sure the automatic duplex printing option is selected:

  Enter the control panel > devices and printers.
  Right-click the printer icon, and then click printer properties.
  Click the device settings tab.
  As installed in Duplex Automatic Two-Sided accessory and then click OK to save the change.

  Try now print and check for the difference.

  I have an OfficeJet Pro attached to 2 PC 7590, 1 PC connected by network 2nd PC attached via the USB port.

  Both systems are running:

  -Windows 7 64 bit

  -Office 2010

  -HP driver version 14 (OJProL7X00_Full_14)

  I mainly print duplex with 2 sheets per review page.

  If I choose "flip pages on the short edges", Word 2010 print only the last 4 pages, 1 page.

  I see the task in the printer display, showing all the pages to print. After the 1st printed page, employment disappears.

  If I choose "flip pages long edges", printing is OK

  I had this problem with Office 2007 (running on XP). In Office 2007, I had to choos to the printer driver settings. With Office 2010, this is done directly in Word.

  Is there a solution to this problem.

  In order to use the accessory automatic duplex, you don't have to set the Printing Preferences screen and not the word dialogue print.

  In Word, open the document, and then click file > print.

  Click the Preferences button located right after the selection of the printer box.

  Listed Automatic double-sided printing , and then click OK and perform your impression.

  If you unable to see the automatic option, check the duplex unit is installed in the pilot:

  Enter the control panel > devices and printers.

  Right-click on the icon HP Officejet series L7500 , and then click printer properties.

  Click the device settings tab and check that the accessory front marked as installed.

  If you want to set both sides as defaul, you can click on Printing Preferences in the context of the context menu, then define the two-Sided Printing and approve to set it as the default preferences.

  I'm trying to print a booklet from a pdf file.  When I print double sided printing pages in reverse.  Front of the faces of the page to the top and back of the page down.

  I'd love to help you with your duplex settings. Looks like you will need to change the short edge binding on the long edge. I found something that might help with these settings: with long edges and parameters of short edge duplex printing.

  The function "automatic detection" used by some drivers during installation does not always; make sure the driver knows that a duplex unit is present on the printer (assuming that he is present):

  • For the instance of the printer in question, bring up the printer properties dialogue.
  • Select the device settings tab.
  • Make sure the duplex unit is set to installed and not installed.

  You will probably need to be logged in with administrator credentials in order to change the settings of the device.

  Follow these steps to disable two-sided printing:
  
  Open the file that you want to print. On the file menu, select print. The print window is displayed.
  
  NOTE: The print window might be minimized. Click Show details to display all available parameters.
  
  Click on the settings drop-down list, it usually appears under the name of the program (e.g. TextEdit)
  Will appear as Copies & Pages within Microsoft Office applications.
  
  Select layout from the drop-down.
  
  Set the duplex as Off.
  
  You can save the settings as a preset by clicking preset > save current settings as preset.
  
  By default, the print job by completing these settings will remain until another preset is used in the future.

• LaserJet P1102w: Double-sided printing will not turn off

  Even if double-sided printing is NOT selected in the printer properties, printing all ask for double-sided printing.  So if I go to print a single page printjob, the computer asks to have the blank page that was 'printed' just to get back in the tray.

  How can I get this fixed?

  I understand that you use a HP LaserJet Pro P1102w printer with a Windows 10 computer and when you try to print a single page, the printer ejects a blank page and ten invites you to put in the tray, so the second side can be printed, even if double-sided printing is not selected.
