  Just bought HP Envy 5660.  Menu assistance has not helped me.   I want printing and copy to print in draft mode.  Is there a way to do this by default for print and copy?   I can change the mode when you print a document, but do not know how to do with the copy.  I would like this to be automatic, without making any changes for each document.

  I think you need to press on copy, then small logo copy the settings (like a toothed wheel). That will make appear the menu copy settings, and you can click on 'quality '.  You should then have the choice of the best, Normal and project.

  I have a request. I use Firefox regularly and change the background color in the "content" of the preferences section is easier on my eyes. However, on some sites I would like to disable this function, but I have to go to the preferences it off and then turn it back on once I have leave the site.

  My Hp had two symbols of Hp on its splash screen for the past month and it does not seem like a problem.
  I downloaded steam yesterday and during the execution of a game (TF2), he had the same problem split screen (identical to the commissioning model.)

  I know this post is a bit old but I just fell on the same problem on my laptop (m6 1205dx Envy). After one day it suddenly divided into only 4 screens as the Photo posted. The warranty has just expired so I took to a local PC repair shop and told me that the graphics card was good, but the screen had to be replaced. The quote I received was for $ 160 and work about $ 200 for a new screen! plus tax I was looking at over $ 400 only, I went and bought a new laptop instead, because I was taking courses online and could not be without. It was an Asus - very cheap - and was not as nice as envy. In addition, I had just dropped over $ 700 on this laptop a year earlier. PC Repair man AND the Frys guy who sold me my new laptop is difficult to replace the screen and the computer is pretty much a lost cause after that the screen turns off. Buuuut, I ordered a new screen anyway and seen a vid from youtube (check laptopscreen.com) on how to to replace and it seemed easy so I started to take off the old screen. Well, I noticed that it was not plugged into the socket (from the screen for the rest of the computer) very well so I fixed it and re-recorded it. After that the screen worked fine. I returned the other laptop, canceled the order for a new screen, restored my data files to my desire and a mere 12 hours later... I'm exhausted. Even if the screen needs to be replaced - its easy and is only about $55. IM horrible with computers and I always got. Just be careful and watch the videos. It may just be that the PIN is loose. Hope this helps at least one person save time and money on the outrageous costs of computer repair.

  Here's another way to do this, and in a way that I think is a little more tidy:

  1. Create a sequence called "MATTE" with as many tracks as sides you need to blur, plus one.
  2. Create an oval or face shape chart using the titration, Photoshop or other graphic software module. Don't forget that the oval is a pure white, with a transparent background.
  3. Remove your video clip on V1 and then drag an instance of the oval design on each of the remaining tracks.
  4. Position and animate each graphic oval over a face. If the people in the shot are not mobile, but the camera, you can animate the position of one of the ovals, then copy and paste the path to the rest of the oval graphic instances effect. Then, change the anchor point property to adjust the absolute position; the relative animation remains consistent.
  5. When you are finished animating the ovals, turn off the visibility of your video background on V1 layer.
  6. In your final movie, place another instance of your video clip on a track directly above the first. Drag the sequence MATTE BAC on the track above the clip duplicate. So if your original video clip on V1, V2 would be a copy, and the MATE nested sequence will be the V3.
  7. Apply the Filter Blur/mosaic and adjust the settings to your liking at the occurrence of clip on V2. Add the matte key track effect and set the matte V3 (or anywhere where your MAST is) and set the parameter of Composite using Alpha Matte. Immediately, you should see matte work on the track.
  8. You can also apply a blur (for example, blur accelerated) to the element nested MAST in order to soften the edges of the matte a bit. Adjust to your taste.
  9. If you need to adjust the position of one of the 'faces', go to a sequence of the MATE and tweak it. Changes will automatically appear in the final sequence.

• HP ENVY 7640: HP ENVY 7640 2 sides print and find the most printing problems

  Printer installed on 2 computers. To print 2 sides. No options settings except manually don't print on both sides. Can go to printer properties and choose 2 sides printer here, but not an option under settings. Shouldn't the option for 2 show print face upward under settings?

  Also when click on 'Find the print settings more' under the settings in the menu printing, an error message warning that "a serious problem occurred the last time that Word has attempted to recover the HPE04E66 print settings (7640 HP EVNY series).   Open the HP Envy 5660 from your PC and click on scan a document or Photo.

  Check the option Show Scan Previow is enabled and scanning as 300 dpi resolution or below.

  Use the "+" button below the preview scan until you are finished, and then click Save button.

  I would say to uninstall all old software of the printer, if you updated to Windows 10. Then, download and install the latest drivers from HP.  Series printer e-all-in-one HP ENVY 5660 full feature software and drivers.

• After you have installed the latest Pantone color library in photoshop, some colors are inaccessible

  I try to refer to a specific Pantone color in Photoshop. I want to use the color library browser, so that I can easily get an overview of my chosen color variants. The color, I'm working with is not available in the original Pantone Coated color book provided with my version of Photoshop. So I downloaded and installed the Pantone color Manager and checked the color I want IS identified in the book lying in the Pantone color Manager. Great! I saved the book of color as a .acb file and installed in Photoshop. But I can not yet select some colors. They exist in Pantone color Manager, but they are not searchable from within Photoshop. Very strange!

  Here are the steps I followed to bring the book of the color in Photoshop:

  1. launch Pantone Color Manager

  2. Select the formula Guide - coated color book

  3. perform a search for "2128" and ensure that color exists.

  4. choose Save as... and save the file with a .acb (Adobe color book) file. I named it "PANTONE + Solid Coated - V3.acb.

  5. exit Photoshop

  6 copy the book of color in books color file in Photoshop (/ Applications / Adobe Photoshop CC 2015/Presets/color books).

  7. start Photoshop.

  8. open the color picker and click the button "color libraries".

  9. choose my new book of color in the menu ("PANTONE + Solid Coated-V3')

  10 type '2128': not found (Photoshop shows me 212c instead).

  I scrolled the book color in Photoshop - color isn't here!

  You want to export the color book. Then it must meet 2-1-2-8 in the Photoshop color picker and I would choose Lab as the color model during export.

  Is it possible to jam a range of specific colors at first?  Curved and three way color corrector RGB have an option of color correction secondary where you can dial in your color range you want to select, which is great!

  But is it possible to do the same thing with a blur? I want to choose a certain range of colors, skin tones in my case - and just blur that extend.  You probably already figured out why, but I have to do, is soften skin that is a little rough and I like to keep the project out of AE if possible.
