  • HP ENVY i7 Desktop 700-311: is the 23-inch monitor screen IPS LED - lighting compatible with HP ENVY Desktop 700-311 HP Pavilion?

I recently bought the hp with i7 proceessor envy and I want to know if the 23 inch screen IPS LED - lighting HP Pavilion monitor will be compatible with i7 ENVY 700-311 HP Desktop processor?

Until the entry of the screen is the viudeo output which is available on the desktop PC, it will be compatible. The dekstop PC has VGA and DVI outputs. Just use a cable that allows you to connect both devices and you'll get the video.

I see that the screen has both. I highly recommend the digital video input instead of the VGA NICU.

You will need a DVI cable.

  • Where are the front USB ports on the HP Envy Desktop 700-210?

I bought the 700-210 office envy because he has so many USB ports.   However, I can only find 8-2 on top and 6 on the back.   According to the specifications, there are supposed to be some at the front.   I have to take something out to find them?

    Thank you.

    V.J.R.-Savannah, welcome to the forum.

Here is the Product Specifications page for the computer.  If you look at the picture of the computer in the link, I think the cover under the red band to slide down to expose the USB ports.  This is how it works on my 810-135qe want.

    Hello

Did you read the MS article that I posted above?  There are instructions on how to do not require a password.

Since the upgrade to Windwos 8.1 is free, then you should do this update and apply all of the published HP updates.  Then watch this video and it will show you how to remove the password and lock screen.

  • HP ENVY d 700-038: want to know, HP envy D 700-038 (office) compatible for MIRACAST?

I'm trying to mirror my desktop PC to my smart tv LG (LA6910-miracast ready!)
But I can't find the tab "add a wireless display. (it is not)

I'm alls update, windows, drivers, but nothing happens.

I wonder which, so my compatible 700-038D (desktop) of HP envy for MIRACAST?

I find some data, and I found that my processors and graphic is compatible for MIRACAST.

But what about my Wireless Adapters?

I am therefore here to ask

is my wireless adapter on my HP envy D 700-038 compatible for MIRACAST?
(Integrated Bluetooth 4.0 and 802.11a/b/g/n wireless LAN featuring both band (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) 2 x 2 mi...)

And if my HP envy D 700-038 compatible for MIRACAST, why the tab 'add a wireless display' are not show.

    Please hlp

Lol it doesn't seem to be able to Miracast.

If it were, HP would have included that in your desktop computer specifications.

The simplest solution is to buy and install a USB or PCIe wifi adapter that is capable of Miracast.

I suggest you call HP support that could take a command remotely on your computer to see what goes wrong, and then if necessary, they might send you a series of recovery Image factory (depending on the situation).

  • HP Envy 700xt (700-215xt): want to 700xt and Windows 10

I have a HP Envy 700xt (700-215xt) that I bought in 2014, running Windows 7 Home Preumium, SP1 with updates. I am considering upgrading to Windows 10 before the expiration of the free update. Someone has done successfully with this HP machine? What are the positives and drawbacks? Thank you.

    Greetings,

Your system wil run probably win 10.

There is no way to verify what is happening until you upgrade to Win 10.

I do the upgrade on another HDD or SSD that will preserve your current installation of factory. You'll clone the existing installation or install the original image on the new SSD or HARD disk.

Do the upgrade on the clone or a new factory HP installation. If the upgrade fails you will always be an image bootable on the original HDD or SSD.

Back up your data and create a system image using the Microsoft image backup options or use a third party software to create an image.

That's what I would do to avoid having to reinstall the original image, if the upgrade to win 10 fails.

    See you soon!

  • HP Envy model 700-200Z: DVD player for 16A ESH -.

Since the upgrade to Windows 10 generic Microsoft driver for the DVD drive (dated 2006) is not enough for my DVD drive to be recognized by my system, that's why I find myself with a player who's GOING to answer, but does not burn and will play only prerecorded CD and DVD.  Nobody seems to know how to get the driver for the system.  Any help anyone can offer is certainly appreciated, my information system, please let me know if I missed anything.

I have a HP Envy of 700-200Z - 1 TB SATA HDD, CPU AMD A10 - 6800K APU, with Radeon HD, 4,10 GHz graphics card.  16.0 GB memory GB usable 15.2, 64-Bit OS, 64-bit, OS Windows 10.

Unfortunately, there is no HP Win10 driver for your device. HP is not no matter what timetable indicating when, or IF, they will produce drivers for older machines.

You can try to use Windows updates to find the drivers from Microsoft deposits for your device: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03330139

If that does not do anything, you should read this another link: http://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-Pavilion-dv6-6000-Entertainment-Notebook-PC-series/5048664/model/5077076/document/c04758308/

If Windows Update doesn't give new drivers, you can pursue alternative which are described in the linked Microsoft Windows Insider community thread: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/insider/wiki/insider_wintp-insider_devices/how-to-install-and-update-drivers-in-windows-10/a97bbbd1-9973-4d66-9a5b-291300006293

To restore the network settings, you will need to access the menu/wireless network on the front panel of the printer and look for the default network.

  • Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop 700 v2 - drivers Windows 7 x 64

    Hello

    I just bought a combo of Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop 700 v2.0 for myWindows 7 x 64, i.e.

    • a Microsoft Wireless Keyboard 700 v2.0

    • and a wireless mouse 700 v2.0

Keyboard and mouse work fine. The problem is that in Device Manager that theyappear as HID-compliant devices.

In addition, that there is no support for devices in Intellipoint 8.0 (x 64)

QUESTION: Where can I download Windows 7 64 - bit drivers for Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop 700 v2.0?

    Thanks in advance

My keyboard worked fine, and then all of a sudden it stopped working. This fix worked for me in Windows 8:

    Step 1.

Open this location: Panel-hardware and sound-devices and printers.
    Step 2.
Now, right click on "Microsoft wireless transceiver" and press "Properties".
    Step 3.
Click on the "Hardware" tab, click on the driver and the 'Properties' hit down in the left corner.
    Step 4.
Click on the "Hardware" tab and click on "change settings" down in the right corner. Now click on the tab "Driver" , then on "update driver software...  ».

    Step 5.
Now the fun part. I don't know how it was in Windows 7 (maybe the same?), but in Windows 8 you will like that. Click on ""Browse my computer for driver software ' and then on "Let Me pick from a list of drivers on my computer". "
    Step 6.
Now, click the driver "USB Composite Device" NOT on the "Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop 700 v2.0". And click on continue.
    Last step 7.
If the keyboard is not working properly, do step 6 just yet once now update you your driver "USB Composite Device" to the ""Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop 700 v2.0 " driver." And it should look something like this (this is the Norwegian):
And your done! I hope this helps.
