I suggest you call HP support that could take a command remotely on your computer to see what goes wrong, and then if necessary, they might send you a series of recovery Image factory (depending on the situation).

I recently bought the hp with i7 proceessor envy and I want to know if the 23 inch screen IPS LED - lighting HP Pavilion monitor will be compatible with i7 ENVY 700-311 HP Desktop processor?

Until the entry of the screen is the viudeo output which is available on the desktop PC, it will be compatible. The dekstop PC has VGA and DVI outputs. Just use a cable that allows you to connect both devices and you'll get the video.

I see that the screen has both. I highly recommend the digital video input instead of the VGA NICU.

You will need a DVI cable.

  • Where are the front USB ports on the HP Envy Desktop 700-210?

I bought the 700-210 office envy because he has so many USB ports.   However, I can only find 8-2 on top and 6 on the back.   According to the specifications, there are supposed to be some at the front.   I have to take something out to find them?

    Thank you.

    V.J.R.-Savannah, welcome to the forum.

Here is the Product Specifications page for the computer.  If you look at the picture of the computer in the link, I think the cover under the red band to slide down to expose the USB ports.  This is how it works on my 810-135qe want.

  • J4V91AA: Required for a desktop HP 700-414

Just yesterday I bought this computer as an "open box" unit at Best Buy, and the mouse and all documents were missing.

I guess I can live without the wireless mouse, but I need the bad books! I was told that I could download them h.-p.. but BAD... the ONLY thing that I could find on the site of HP is a limited parts list and nothing else! I would like the installation CD and disks of drivers and manual user, at least, or I have 15 days to return it and get my money back.

Without books, I don't know if there was a 'dongle' for the keyboard and the mouse who was not there, or is the bluetooth internal?

There is absolutely nothing on the Web site for this model. It is Mr never existed... no form, no manual, no restore disks... nothing! So please help me before I have to take it back!

It is a discontinuous model and has absolutely no support, so I'm leaning very strongly toward returning it!

    Hello

Vendors provide no installtion Windows and drivers of discs these days. To save the trees and the Earth (and $$$) sellers only provide also some pages with set up instructions.

You can download the manuals for your machine from the following link:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/product/HP-envy-700-desktop-PC-series/7161708/model/7269347/manuals/

    and its specifications:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/product/HP-envy-700-desktop-PC-series/7161708/model/7269347/document/c04453446/

Read carefully the specifications, information for mouse, keyboard and the receiver (dongle) are there too.

And finally, there's a site for that, I usually called machine home page.

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/product/HP-envy-700-desktop-PC-series/7161708/model/7269347/product-info

To restore disks, you create yourself using the guides above.

    Kind regards.

I have a compaq presario sr19090uk desktop pc running windows 7 64-bit with a card mother micro-ATX (ASUS - A8M2N - LA / Nodus M-GL8E) Socket AM2, Anthlon 64 3500 + socket 939and the motherboard was dead. What is a good replacement that takes in charge a cd/dvd ide burner and sata hard drive for undeer £100. I have also 4 GB DDR2 SDRAM installed.

    Thank you

    Tony

Here are the specifications of your Compaq Presario SR1909UK desktop and it is card mother A8M2N-(NodusM). There is a conflict in the two specifications for what CPU socket is actually used. The computer specifications claim a socket 939 CPU, while the motherboard plug State she has a socket AM2. You will need to examine your system to confirm what type of CPU and socket he did.

It can be difficult to locate a market after motherboard that will meet your needs as AM2 socket 939 about 5 years to 8 years and are several obsolete generation. Check e - Bay or similar in your area for a replacement card which meets you the specifications. Please keep in mind is likely to replace the HP OEM Board on your computer Windows become a "non-genuine" and require the purchase of a new operating system. Note that the recovery discs you created will not be also usable on your computer.

  • ENVY Desktop - 750-170se CTO installation SSD

    I have samsung 850 m2 evo which is sata access - http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-850-EVO-3-5-Inch-MZ-N5E500BW/dp/B00TGIW1XG?ie=UTF8 & psc = 1 & redirect = true...

It is not recognized by the bios a08 rom family 2b4b ssi (which is the one that came with my office 750-170se week old envy.  If the device supports the new nvme, very well (it's twice the price) - what m2 has been proven to work here and how the hell update the bios on this thing, to see if there is more recent taken m.2 supported?

    FrozenGamer, welcome to the forum.

The casings of m2 on the motherboard are "one M.2 take 1, A key ' and 'a m2 taken 3, M button' (" Socket m2 3, with the M key, type "2260/2280 so it supports discs which are 22 mm wide and 60 mm or 80 mm long with a touch of M"). The socket is normally for wireless cards and key socket M are for SSD.  The SSD you bought is a B + M key.  Here is a picture that shows the two types of keys:

    "

I think that this is your problem.  M2 interface is much more complicated than the SATA interface.  I am not sure that I fully understand.

  • 750-170se CTO envy: ENVY Desktop - 750-170se CTO installation SSD

I just bought this machine (750-170se ENVY). I bought it with a hard drive 3 TB installed and then filled the rest 2-Bay 3,5 '' with more hard drives 3 to 2. I would now like to add an SSD.

I have an SSD that I can add, but I don't know if the business will allow me to add it. There are a ton of wasted space in the case behind where is the DVD player. It almost seems that this could work for the Assembly of the SSD, but I'm not sure.

The other option would be to get a m2 by car because there is 1 free slot for m2. I know not where this is good. The technical page for my machine lists two locations:

    - Socket m2 1, the a key (I used Speccy and thought that it used.) It comes with the wireless card slot)

    -M2 socket 3, M key

One of them is occupied by the wireless card. I'm not clear that one isn't. I'm also not sure what size (physical dimensions not capacities) fits into the free location.

Anyone know the answer to these questions?

revised to indicate that I answered 1 questions on my own

    @icthusman2

The motherboard in your PC requires a PCIe SSD m.2 for housing type 3.

  • ENVY 750 - 055xt: screw the motherboard for socket mSATA

I have the HP ENVY 750-055xt, which uses the motherboard of Kaili.  There is a plug on the motherboard mSATA and I inserted an EVO of 850 Samsung 1 TB SSD.  Fortunately this solid state drive works and is immediately recognized by Windows 7, no other frills.  However, the motherboard doesn't have the small screws in the tiny mSATA solid drive on the motherboard.

Anyone know the right screw size used to secure the mSATA SSD to the motherboard in Kaili?

    Hi Big_Dave,

Thanks for your reply.  I have besides a picture of the Samsung 850 EVO mSATA SSD drive.

It fits in the slot on my motherboard HP MS-7826 (Kaili) mSATA.  Please see below.

The drive performs as well as my boot drive.  As it is not properly attached to the motherboard, the only thing holding is the strength of tensioning of the socket.  Ocassion the tiny jury comes off in the socket and it won't be visible in the path of startup.  Opening upward the chasis LIKE 750 and re - insert the mSATA jury will get the computer running again.  The little screw would prevent the Council of Regularisez making and the frustration of re-Foundation there.

Elsewhere in this forum, I found mention of the screw that I'm looking.  This is the same as that used in the dwelling of minimap express PCI used for the WiFi card.  The expertise here source describes the machine screws Flathead as a M1.6 size.  I ordered a M1.6 x 3 mm of China.  I think it should work.  Some here said they used a M2.0 to head flat screws in the slot mSATA and it seemed to work for them.

My motherboard HP isn't a slot m2.  If so, then I probably would have opted for the Samsung SSD m2, instead of the mSATA SSD drive.

For now, I think I solved the problem with the mother screw missing for the location of nSATA.  Nevertheless, Big_Dave, thanks for responding to me here.

TRY TO RESTART ON THE SEAGATE, NOT THE INTERNAL HARD DRIVE. MY COMPUTER IS A HP-700-527 C, RUNS THE WINDOWS 7, THE INTERNET EXPLORER BROWSER. MY ERROR MESSAGE SAYS "NO BOOT DISK OR DISK IS DAMAGED." I JUST INSTALLED CMS BOUNCEBACK ULTIMATE, WEBROOT AND MICROSOFT OFFICE PRO AND VISIO.

I FIRST SET UP THE FIRST COMPUTER AND RECEIVED THIS MSG ON RESTART AFTER THE DISKS HAVE BEEN INSTALLED FOR BOUNCEBACK AND SEAGATE. THOUGHT IT WAS A PROBLEM OF HP, NO LUCK WITH THEIR HELP. MICROSOFT IS NO HELP. A COMPUTER HELD THE GEEKSQUAD AFTER THEY WENT THROUGH IT REMOTELY AT HOME, THEY COULD NOT MAKE CHANGES TO THE BIOS REMOTELY. BIOS IS BELIEVED TO BE IN THE WRONG ORDER TO RE-BOOT. THEY COULDN'T GET IT TO STOP TRYING TO RESTART ON THE SEAGATE, EVEN WHEN THE BIOS FOR THE REST HAS BEEN DISABLED.

SITTING AT THE DRAWING BOARD! ??? !!! ....

    Hello
Thanks for posting your query on the Microsoft Community.

As you mentioned that your HP desktop computer is not able to start after a reboot.

I would first disconnect the backup / external drive and check if you are able to start or not.

I suggest to go to the BIOS and boot sequence and select the internal hard drive as first boot device.

NOTE: BIOS change / complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor (CMOS) settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the configuration of the BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Setting changes are made at your own risk.

If the problem persists. I suggest that get you in touch with HP support in order to solve this problem.
