  In my video, I have two mp3 files: one is a music file, and which seems to work very well. The other is a voice on file I made in Audacity and imported into first.

  I then cut and synchronize parts with video clips, then set the volume loud to match the level of the music and added the Denoiser to out the hum of the mic, I used for Audacity.

  Now, my problem is that voice over clips seem to fluctuate in volume when I play back and export. It is not always in the same places, but when it happens, it's usually at the beginning of the clip. I don't know what it is cause, or if the effects I have added something to do with it (I doubt it), but I was wondering if there is a way to solve this problem?

  It is the effect. You might be able to make the audio (in the sequence menu), but this does not always work. Best bet is simply not not to use this particular effect in Premiere Pro. If all you have for audio is Audacity, you can make a decent noise he filtering which will far exceed the capabilities of Premiere Pro.

• Beats Audio Volume indicator WENT after IDT HD Audio update!

  Just bought the HP Envy 17 t-3000 (Envy 17 model custom) and I updated all drivers through HP Support Manager.

  BEFORE the update, the Beats Audio worked fine...

  1. press on the knob and the popup box appears about 3 seconds

  2 whirlwind indicator volume seems to display the volume level.

  AFTER the update, something changed the Beats Audio... had to re - install the latest driver from the HP Web site (even after the contact with HP Tech support chat and email several times)...

  1. press on the knob and the popup box appears about 10-12 seconds now!

  2 whirlwind indicator volume DISAPPEARED for volume level indicator is GONE

  Of course the sound works but NOW I do NOT know or remember the volume level whenever I listen to music.

  You can barely tell on the speaker icon to Windows on the toolbar since 2 sound waves indicate at least 50% of its level, but that's all!

  I have the software following and checked their settings and put everything to 50% and use the Beats Audio dial to control the volume when the programs are used:

  1 WinAmp

  2 VLC player

  3 MPC

  4 WMP

  No matter what I try, it appears that the Beats Audio Volume Control indicator Swirl is GONE! Worse still, there is NO Windows switch order volume at least don't let the open Volume mixer!

  Someone knows how to solve this problem and bring back the Audio Beats volume indicator?

  HP Tech support insists on doing a re clean - install of the operating system to its original state after suggesting to do reinstall partial of restore points. Already tried restore but points only some since there were MANY because of various updates and none brought the Volume indicator.

  Perform a total OS re - install would be the LAST attempt given I have to reinstall all the programs and updated ONCE again that would be laborious!

  Without knowing exactly which updates HP Support Assistant is installed, try the following first and let me know.

  Download IDT Audio Installer on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

  One time finished, open windows control panel, open Device Manager and open sound, video and game controllers.  Right click on the IDT device and select uninstall - also, you should get a command prompt to delete the current driver, check the box allow this and then proceed to uninstall.

  When you are done, reboot the laptop and let Windows load completely.  Open your download folder, right-click on the IDT Installer and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  When this has completed, restart the computer again.

  Then, download and install HP display to the screen from following link.

  Once again, when the installation is complete, restart the laptop.

  What is now working properly and what is not, or is there no change?

  Have you checked the manual of the Camileo X 400?
  I recommend doing this.

• How to increase the control limits for the Audio Volume?

  I have upgraded my PC base unit and no longer have the output of the Speaker Volume I had before. The audio output is more silent than before with the same speakers I used. I have moved all the sliders on the control panel of the Volume on their maximum position, but still can't get enough of output to the speakers. I'm looking to increase range parameter on the control panel of Volume as a general solution. Can you advise if this is possible? I looked at a few ideas, these courses: edit files (.inf) SoundMAX driver. Modify the registry keys concerned. Use different audio drivers (none seem to be available for my hardware). Install the software to boost the audio output (VLC Media Player should be achieve this somehow). Install alternative (rollback) Microsoft drivers. Any advice would be much appreciated.

  Just an update of my efforts on this issue.

  I revisited the audio registry settings SoundMAX for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Class\ \0005\Settings {4D36E96C-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}. These are installed when you install the driver for SoundMAX Integrated Digital Audio. Changing these settings has already failed to get an increase of output audio volume. I have now found some settings of the value of these registry keys that have given me a satisfactory increase in the volume of the audio. In short, the cure for my situation was:

  The file source (wdm3516b_Cadenza.exe) driver available from the Download Center Intel is a self-extracting ZIP file. Unzip this file to a location convenient temporary store (C:\Temp)

  Use a text editor (Notepad) to edit the INF of the driver - in my case, it's "smwdmCH4.inf. Changes to this file cause the digital signature of the file to be invalid, but choose "Continue Anyway" to solve this problem during the installation of the driver. To increase the sound volume levels, the audio volume registry key value parameters that have been predefined 08 (hex) have been changed to 01 (hex). I suppose that this change dB levels produced by the SoundMAX Integrated Digital Audio.

  To install the new settings:

  Uninstall the SoundMAX Integrated Digital Audio hardware by using Device Manager.

  Restart the PC - this should give a "new hardware found" restart of the PC.

  Use Device Manager to reinstall the driver for SoundMAX Integrated Digital Audio. Do not use the automatic selections for this - run the installation process where you stored the INF driver edited file.

  Once installation is complete, a check on the properties of the device must indicate that the device is functioning properly.

  Use regedit to check that changes in the edited file driver INF appeared in the area of the Windows registry - in my case, it is HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Class\ {4D36E96C-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} \0005\Settings.

  I will emphasize that it is NOT a recommended fix - it turns out that it worked for me. The usual caveats apply - save your original settings, or better yet, use software disk image to make a copy of your drive hard so that you go back to square one if she's going "pear-shaped" with adaptations that have been made.

  Audacity will do what you want - a good. Its freeware and is a full blown audio editor. You need to normalize your track and to use a negative value to reduce the volume.

  One thing though: If your wav file already has a built-in distortion (that is to say "clipping" - when some parts of the song go above 0 dbl and so distort) nothing you do will get rid of the break of the said.

  You can see this by looking at the waveform track in Audacity. Is there is no flat areas where there should be highs, and they are above 0dbl then your track is cut off and there is a high risk of distortion. Is there is no flat areas (only the peaks) then your track should be ok (as long as they are not above 0dbl) and you can 'normalize' it.

  Try Googling "normalize batch file" (or similar), you can find what you want.

  Our application reacts on the main events of entry of the volume keys and set the audio volume accordingly in increments of 10. While net.rim.device.api.system.Audio.getVolume () works very well and returns the correct value, we are unable to adjust the volume. Adjustment is made through net.rim.device.api.system.Audio setVolume(int volume). Calling the method seems to succeed because there is no error returned. If we call setVolume (90) after that getVolume() return 100 the next call of getVolume() returns 90. However there is no noticeable change in volume. Even though getVolume() returns 0 audio is always heard.

  Play media files is via MMAPI, i.e. javax.microedition.media.Manager and javax.microedition.media.Player.

  Please note that the volume control works very well for BB Pearl 8100 with firmware version v4.2.1.101 (Platform 2.3.0.80) but fails for the above device. Application is signed.

  Today, I met a problem in my most recent project, which came suddenly. In a scene where the huge differences in audio volume from one clip to another were quite important and mixed by me with high efficiency (I was really proud of myself), audio now suddenly seems to have been normalized autom leveled from one moment to the other, as if the first was self leveling my audio in the timeline panel. When I increase the audio gain on a clip, it seems to have little or no effect and the overall volume seems to descend in some regions, where my sound effects really should shoot the chemio dramatic audience. Only thing I can exclude is windows screwing my audio, because when I read one rendered 2 old day of the scene in VLC Media Player, it has all the audio frenzy I had intend doesn't always work as it should. Really boring. Bothers me a bit, as I am approaching the project completion and return for the final mix. Did anyone here know what goes wrong?

  I found the solution myself. Go to preferences > Audio hardware > ASIO settings showed me that somehow I must have checked the playback of 32-bit area. Uncheking to get rid me of the problem. Thread can be closed (I hope)
