HP ENVY TouchSmart All 23-d044: 23-d044 WANT to HP TouchSmart all-in - One Desktop PC wireless

This PC wireless adapter does not work with the band of 5 Ghz 802.11?

Hello @luticrist,

I understand that you are curious to know if your HP ENVY TouchSmart all-in-One desktop PC 23-d044 can handle the 5 Ghz bands. According to the HP ENVY 23 - d044 TouchSmart all-in-One Desktop PC product specifications page your computer supports the following communication standards: 802.11b/g/n. With an antenna that works only on a single-band 2.4 GHz. If 'NO' your wireless adapter does not work on the 5 Ghz range.

I hope that I have answered your question to your satisfaction. Thanks for posting on the HP Forums. Have a great day!

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could tell me if it is even possible to plug a second monitor HP ENVY Beats all-in-one desktop PC, because I'm trying to connect my TV as a second monitor via HDMI, and I tried everything I could, but came empty-handed?

    Hello

What is the product/model of your AIO machine? I have a lot of cases, you cannot use HDMI port to connect to a TV, because it's the HDMI IN port. You need USB - HDMI converter/adapter to connect to a TV (or monitor).

I would use a 2nd monitor with my HP all-in-one, but I can't figure out how to do this.  Our it guy says it can be done by using a VGA cord DMI but it does not work.  An another computer guy told me to get a USB cord with a graphics driver and technology at Best Buy told me that it is not possible to use a 2nd monitor with this all-in-one specific.  Please let me know if it is possible and how I would go to do.

    Here are the specifications of your HP ENVY tilted 27-k009 TouchSmart all-in - One desktop PC. Based on the specifications, this model, is a video output any. The HDMI port on the side is strictly an ENTRY;

    3 HDMI input

  • Windows 8 or 8.1 update? HP ENVY TouchSmart all-in - One desktop PC 23-d260qd

I just bought the HP ENVY TouchSmart all-in-One desktop PC 23-d260qd and it happens today. I wonder if it is better to upgrade to Windows 8.1 instead of windows 8. It seems that several people had problems with the upgrade. I just got my computer today and have yet to open the box, but I wanted to know what OS is better and how I would go about updating Windows 8.1 must be optimal. My computer specs are below:

    • 64-bit Windows 8
    • • 3rd generation Intel® Core™ i7 - 3770S processor [3.1 GHz, 8 MB of shared cache]
    • • 1 GB NVIDIA GeForce GT610M [DX 11, 3. 0a MXM]
    • • 12GB DDR3 1600 MHz SODIMM [DIMM 2]
    • • 2 TB 7200 RPM SATA Hard Drive
    • • Microsoft Office Trial

Thanks in advance for your suggestions and help!

Create a recovery disk set before even considering the upgrade.

If you are not yet accustomed to Windows 8, then give yourself a little time to get familiar with before committing to an upgrade to Windows 8.1.

I prefer the upgrade of Windows 8.1, in particular the return of the Start button, it is not the same as the Start button was before Windows 8.

Important factors for Windows 8.1 are available on the web support download portal for your PC.

  • Want 7640: Cannot send a scanned on Envy 7640 All In One document

Until a few days ago I could send documents scanned from my desire to 7640.  All of a sudden the printer will not send.  I tried several e-mail addresses.  I have run the wireless network Test and everything is OK.  All the 'connectivity settings' are very good.  I uninstalled and reinstalled the printer software.  I am able to send the scanned to my MacBookPro.  Anyone has any ideas how to fix?

    Hi @Dan-M.

Thanks for joining the Forums of HP Support for a solution to scanning to send the question.

I understand that you have a HP ENVY 7640 e-all-in-one printer connected wireless to a Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan and you used to be able to scan to E-mail, but now cannot. I would like to help with that.

I start to Reset the power on the printer and then reboot the router.

Please let me know if that solves the problem, or if you need assistance.

I use Windows 10, 64-bit and I have a wireless hp envy 5530 all in one printer on my network.

I do not understand what "Scan to Computer" means... does that mean I can scan a web page and send it to my computer, it means scan a document and send it to my computer or that mean both?

    Thank you

    Dino

    Hello

Thank you for using the HP Forums.

Scan of the computer means "scan a document and send it to my computer.

You will need to install the FULL features software and activate it before you can use.

    How to scan to computer

Once you have installed the software:

    1. click the printer (on your desktop) and it will bring up the HP printer Assistant.
    2. in the menu analyze, there is a 'manage Scan to Computer', click on that.
3 make sure you have "Enable" Scan of the computer. Also, make sure that the tab "automatically start Scan of the computer when I connect Windows" is checked if you want to perpetuate this feature. (the following video will show you how)

    Hope that helps!

  • Re: can't get video to go to the TV via the HDMI on HP ENVY BEATS all in one

It is not a computer laptop is an all in one. There was no category for all in one computer so I had to choose computer laptop.

It's the HP ENVY BEATS ALL IN ONE >

There is no output from the HDMI and I was led to believe that the HDMI on this ALL IN ONE is an entry only.

    Hello @dandy5509,

I appreciate that you try to confirm that your desktop PC HP Beats Special Edition n010-23 all-in-One HDMI in only. I provided you with the page of all-in-one HP Beats Special Edition n010-23 Desktop PC product specifications which confirms what you were told that your computer has only one "5 - port HDMI In" and that it doesn't have HDMI - Out. "

Now, if you really want to go HDMI - Out, you can always buy a "USB to HDMI adapter', which will allow you to have an HDMI - Out.

I hope that I have answered your question to your satisfaction. Thanks for posting on the HP Forums. Have a great day!

  • printers HP envy 120 all-in-one series

I recently bought a hp envy 120 all in one printer and when I unpacked and took a look at the cover glass, there was what appears to be a filament in the middle of the cover glass. I tried to find pictures of the cover line, but not conclusions real photos that show this kind of detail or not, that's the way it should be. I have not tried to implement.

    Hello MbbGirl-

I have a 120 in my office. I took these pictures to show you what she should look like:

I tried to get more pictures, but could not. The cover glass on mine is clear.

  • Office all-in-one HP 20-e019: HP 20-e019 all-in - One Desktop RAM upgrade?

I bought the HP 20-e019 of all-in-one desktop computers, but they are running slow with 4 GB of RAM that came with it. I bought RAM by card, but cannot find the expansion slot... is this really scalable PC? Or am I totally missing the slot? Thank you.

    Hello

4 GB is the maximum number on your machine, and it has only ONE slot. You cannot add more:

    Memory upgrade information
    • Memory channel architecture

  • Upgrade memory for HP Pavilion 23 - g040xt CTO all-in-One desktop

    When I ordered my

HP Pavilion 23-g040xt CTO of all-in-One desktop PC I could only afford the version of 4 GB of Ram. Now, I want to upgrade the memory up to 16 GB. I have a few questions

    1. I noticed all this in a use SODIMM and I was wondering if I could buy any DDR3 SODIMM for this or if I have to buy a specific manufacturer?

    2. now, I have only 4 GB using 1 of the 2 memory slots. I'll be able to buy 2X8GB and use this location empty on my motherboard and run dual channel?

    3. How do the memory locations? Just pop the back of all in one PC?

    Thank you

According to the specification, this model supports up to 16 GB (2 x 8 GB), as follows:

    Dual channel memory architecture
Two DDR3 SODIMM Sockets (204 PIN)
    Supports the PC3-12800 (DDR3-1600)
    Supports 1 GB, 2 GB, 4 GB and 8 GB DDR3 SODIMM

Any brand or model of RAM memory that meets the following specifications should work on your computer. If you have 4 GB in a housing, you will need to remove it to install both 8 GB DIMMs. Yes, you just need to pop on the back.

There should be two or more screws on the back that need to be turned counterclockwise until you hear each "click" of 5-6 times. Then, take a lower corner and lift the corner. Repeat with the other bottom corner. Now, lift the... starting back down. You may also need to remove a cap on the memory locations to access.
