HP Envy TS m6-k015dx: HP Envy Bluetooth Windows 10 connectivity issues

I've upgraded to Windows 10 recently (even if she will be as a downgrade) and have experienced problems with the wireless and bluetooth connectivity. specifically, I can't keep a solid connection on any wireless network while my bluetooth is turned on.

He'll keep disconnection, and when he says that I have a stable connection I don't always get all internet.  He said that there is a problem of DNS probe.

As well as wireless issue while bluetooth is turned on, I also had problems with the connection to an audio device via bluetooth.  I recently received Coulax QX8 bluetooth headphones and they connect on my phone (iPhone 6s), but when I try and connect to it on my laptop, it is not figure it out.  I activated the devices to the discovery of the notebook in the settings, but I still don't see it appear.  Help, please.

And before all the messages about drivers, YES, I update my bluetooth and Wifi drivers, through both the HP Support help and directly by the driver and the Device Manager.

Current drivers

Bluetooth: Intel Wireless Bluetooth, version 18.1.1525.1445

Wireless: Intel Centrino Wireless-N 2230, version 15.18.0.1

Please let me know if bluetooth or wireless number, or if it's just with Windows 10 on this product!

    Hi there @vaniarahma,

Thank you for visiting the Forums HP's Support and welcome! It is an excellent site to find answers and ask questions. I looked into the problem that you are having with your bluetooth does not connect to other devices.

What you're trying to connect to your laptop or your laptop connect to Bluetooth?

Did you check the specifications of the other device to ensure that it is not a special provision (both feet far etc.)?

I've found a few documents for you that can help.

The first document that I found is called using Bluetooth (Windows 8) devices. This document can be useful because it will guide you through connecting devices.

The second document, I found called understanding and troubleshooting Bluetooth wireless technology. This document has other useful information about drivers, ensuring that everything is bluetooth enabled, fixing the problems of bluetooth, etc.

I have a new HP Envy with Windows 8 desktop computer that still does not run properly. I have rebooted, restored (im doing this), ran chkdsk, sfc/scannow, malware, virus, uninstall/install etc and my machine wil always do not run for a long time without going through some sort of problem after an hour or two.  Can anyone suggest what to do about this? I read a lot of information online on all the windows 8 and fixes bugs, etc, but anything Microsoft/Windows, which ensures its customers, a hotfix or compesating their customers with software that still works. This isn't a hardware problem, and I can't keep day and bad shooting and trying to fix the day things in?

    Sincerely,
A client who is a loss for words.
Here are some problems in no particular order.
1.) apps to not install it, and/or Windows saying they are when they are in fact not. The fix to install / uninstall, or get on the site of windows directly in general does not, and or does not at all.
The change permissions 2.) does not work on files that you should be able to access in changing oxnership, permissions, etc.
3.) Google chrome won't let me access my account of microsoft (or fact rarely) trying to access assistance. But internet Explorer doesn't?
Randomly will increase from Internet 4.) a previous connection wired to wireless to a reboot.
5.) my 8 'key' windows was only shown to me after that I have let Windows scan my machine online? Why? I paid for this... I restarted it and it says: service not available (it worked the third attempt which was 1-3 minutes after the initial analysis). Windows only showed my product ID not the key. I know that my victory. 8 was OEM when preinstalled I bought it new, but why didn't we files on it that had nothing to do with activation, appearing on dates for three weeks, or so before I bought it. What is the 'activation of the factory'?
6 :) Windows Essentials does not hang for a long time, and the troubleshooterprogram of update simply does not work (I had to go to the website to try tp operate, the bluetooth functionality is not good that there is an error.
7.) windows scan and repair gets stuck at 27% (Im not the only one with this problem).
8.), avery MS Office 2013 Disappears so often and not easy to reload "we have encountered a problem.

The computer manufacturer is responsible to see that it works properly with Windows 8. It says that it is a new computer I contact HP and make these problems their. If you don't get satisfactory results I turn and look elsewhere for a computer. Hope this helps and if you need another post to help and we will be happy to help you.

  • WiFi for computer laptop HP ENVY 15 and Ethernet connection problem

Hi, a few months ago, I brought a HP ENVY 15 Notebook PC running windows 8.1. It is connected to my wifi with Ralink RT3290 802.11bgn Wi - Fi adapter. My modem is a Technicolour TG582n 2 Wireless ADSL + with wireless 802.11 b/g/n compatible.

As soon as I got there I noticed a problem of internet where I would be able to connect to my home WiFi network and get full reception bars but would have a hard time to access Web sites on web browsers such as chrome, mozilla and internet explore pages takes some time to load and eventually reached a page "this webpage is not available" (for chrome). This problem seems to occur only with my home network as it can connect to public wifi and my wifi friends and yet I have many other devices such as laptops and other smartphones connected to my wifi that did not at all have poblems with internet and it just seems to be mine. When I connect via ethernet I get good connection for about 10 minutes and then I was completely cut off. However, I can upload a file via the wifi ok if I can get it to start and I can play a game online well enough but often disconnected after an hour or two.

I checked for new updates of pilot, but they seem to be up to date and im do not manually downloading and installing one on the hp site but I tried (I did probably wrong). I ran the diagnostic function, but it cannot detect all problems. I looked around the internet as well, but still havn't found a solution.

Also I got the laptop sent back and received a new but the same problem persisted and as I walked through the process of the person I was talking to a admitted that I had a problem like they remote limited from my laptop for a little for the access problem.

Please help, I've had this problem for a month or two now and is really becoming a problem since I use my laptop computer for purposes of requiring home internet work.

Thanks in advance and I hope you guys can help!

    Hi @Eugene5 ,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

It's a great place to find answers and information.
You have the best experience in the HP forum, I would like to draw your attention to the Guide of the HP Forums Learn how Post and more

I understand that you have a problem with your connection Wireless at home. You are able to connect with full bars but are unable to access the web.   When you're lucky hours just access the Web, you can make a download if you get started in time or play games online for one or two before again declining. You ran the diagnostic function, but no problems were. You had the phone replaced for the same issue, but the replacement has the same question.

You know your network is an 802.11 G or 802.11n.   How do I know if my WiFi connects using 802.11n (as superuser)

    Please check this setting.

    1. Open the Device Manager
    2. Click the network adapters to expand the list
    3. Right click on the Ethernet connection, and choose Properties
    4. Click the power management tab
    5. "" Please check that ' allow the computer to turn off this device to save power "is not checked.
    6. Repeat this process for all types of listed under network adapters.

  • Deskjet 6988 printer to wireless network (laptop Envy w / Windows 8.1)

I got my printer HP Deskjet 6988 years and still it was connected to my desktop via a USB 2.0 cable. I bought a laptop HP Envy with Windows 8.1 and want to connect the printer through my servant/Belkin router network, as the USB 2.0 cable provided with the printer does not seem to work in the USB ports of the desire for direct printing. The software disk did not work in the laptop, so I downloaded the software and utility software (printing and scanning) to 8.1 on the HP site.

I ran the download, the installation wizard has started, said "the wizard will connect to the internet and help install the best software available for your printer." I clicked on next, and opens a window "Device discovery" and then an another "recovering the device" then... nothing.  The wizard window closes. My installation manual is useless. It tells me to use the wizard on the software disk that does not work on my laptop (and is obsolete and for the operating system still wrong, because it was for my office, which took place on VIsta.)

I somehow managed to get the printer installed on the laptop - I can see it under the available printers.  And if I have an ethernet cable connected directly from the printer to my router, it will print. But if I unplug the ethernet cable, it will not print. I can't keep the ethernet cable is connected for printing, because the router is in my living room, behind the TV and my office is on the floor. I prefer not to keep my printer on the floor of the living room by our TV, so I really need to work wireless!

My problem is how to make the printer added to my network (Belkin router) servant. The wireless router is all set up and functional - I use actually it from now to access the internet and to post this message.

So, my printer is installed on my laptop. The driver is the most recent, intalled today HP.com and I don't have a software disc to use for a Setup Wizard.

What are the next steps to connect my printer on the network, so I can print wireless? If all goes well, I gave enough information. I have read all sections of the HP.com customer help on service and none of them seem to tell me what to do.

    Thank you!

By a lot of trial and error, I actually thought about it myself. I did a lot of jumping around, so I hope that I can remember what I did:

    (1) install the printer driver using the diskette or download.

    (2) connect the printer to the router by an ethernet cable, which looks like a big phone cord (no need to connect the printer to your laptop).
    3) implement the system of the laptop 'search' on your laptop and in search type "Network" and then click on the 'Network' link to open it.

    (4) you should see the icon for the printer on your computers and other devices already present on the network.

    (5) double click/tap on the icon of the printer and it will open 'web page' the printer in your browser.

    (6) click / tap the 'Network' tab near the top of the scren.

    (7) in the left sidebar, under 'Connections', click 'Wireless' to open it.

    (8) start and use the wizard to enter your router information. (You must specify the printer a different name here, so you can distinguish it from all other printers on your laptop.) For example, I named mine "Deskjet" 6988 Network)

    (9) unplug the power cord of the printer ethernet.

    (10) If your wireless printer does not appear in the list of printers when you go to print something, you'll need to add:

    11) open looking for new portable computer system and type "Devices and printers" and click / tap on the link.

    12) click on the link "Add a printer" upward. The computer will search for printers and the new network printer should appear in the list (hint: he wil have an IP address in the 'Address' column rather than a file.)

    (13) add the network printer and run the test to ensure that it works. Make your default printer and may delete all other 6988 printers listed if you want to.

    (14) you should now see your network printer in the printer list when you go to print something.

I hope this helps someone else someday!

How to do in the BIOS on my HP Envy running Windows 8.1 to enable Hyper-v

Thanks for the reply old_geekster.  I understood what I needed for my HP Envy and who had to press F10 at startup, not ESC.  Once I press F10 fast during the start I in the Boot Manager and has managed to 'Turn on' virtualization, which is what I need to activate "Hyper-V" in the operating system, which then allows me to use Microsoft and VMWare virtualization.

  • HP Envy m4 Windows 8 do not sleep and wake properly

I recently got a HP Envy with Windows 8 m4, and every time I try to sleep, he never goes in mode 'sleep'. I'm assuming, since fans are always running up and the power light is still on (not flashing). If I try to wake him up, he doesn't. I tried pressing the power button, by clicking on the mouse and trackpad and typing on the keyboard. I tried to change the settings of the Control Panel, but nothing seems to work. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hey yal! So, I don't know when it happened, but the problem is solved. I think that there is an update at some point, but I still am Kapersky and am able to sleep and hibernation.

    Hello

I put t know what you mean by unlimited Bluetooth driver but the fact is that your laptop must contain a stack of Toshiba BT.
Otherwise, you can download the BT stack from this Toshiba BT page here:

At this time the new BT stack seems to be 6.40.00.

I have a new laptop Portege T210. Bluetooth was working and then stopped, saying: it is not activated while he was. I use the bluetooth in bed.

I did a system restore and now when I turn on bluetooth, windows 7 Home Edition premium invites me to install the bluetooth driver. However when it starts the bar progression it stops in a way a little and just rest it says please wait.

I tried several times, including to restart the machine. Thelongest I waited more than an hour, he's right there saying it's to install the driver.
    Someone at - it suggestions?

I really want to do a system restore.

Check if the BT stack is installed on your computer. Remove the system, and after restarting the laptop installed the last version of the Toshiba BT Portal > http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/bluetooth/

After doing this BT control feature. In my opinion when the BT module is successfully activated it should work.

    Check it out.

  • General bluetooth connectivity issues phone & mouse with Windows 7

    Hello

I had a lot of difficulty trying to connect my bluetooth mouse and the phone to a new installation of Windows 7 64. It is not a Toshiba PC but the Toshiba stack is the only one that I can get my phone to connect with now and this seems to be a forum active bluetooth hoping there might be some bluetooth here experts who have answers or at least can point me in the right direction.

I found a lot of people on google which seem to have similar problems, but after hours of searching and trying allsorts it doesn't seem to be something close to a final solution - only a variety of trial & error solutions that look they have worked for some people but not others.

In any case... I have a mouse of laptop from Microsoft 5000 and a mobile PHONE Nokia 2330, I've already had TWO drivers bluetooth windows standard and connected together with no problems at all on my laptop Dell D620 (with built-in bluetooth) and also my old PC using a cheap no brand bluetooth dongle.

Two of these computers were running XP (that's the problem I would say haha - why didn't I I never 'improved' for Win 7?)

So after a fresh install of Win 7 64 I also got first wired mouse and works very well and on the other hand the phone on and works fine via Nokia PC Suite. It worked perfectly until a few days later I found that the phone wouldn't connect (mouse doesn't always work well).

In Device Manager there is an "unknown device" named ' device Bluetooth Device "" which is the phone I think, but Windows can not find the drivers for this device.

    So I tried now following...

Disconnect and reconnect the dongle (in different USB Sockets)
Making sure the phone and the computer are set to discover
Change the bluetooth support service manual and not automatic
Change the service to support bluetooth in the journal on as the Local System account
Unpairing the phone with the computer, but it still won't detect it again.
The dongle of uninstalling and reinstalling

By this time he had met on the website of Nokia showing what batteries are compatible with the software PC Suite - it does not say what the PHONE has, rather that software, but I can't even phone to connect with Windows.
    32-bit editions and 64-bit Windows 7:

IVT BlueSoleil Bluetooth stack, versions of the drivers 5.0.5, 6.2.227.11 and 6.4.245.0

    > But then found that this happens if you try to use it with material not Toshiba. Although she is supposed to be a 30 trial and what past 1 hour after installation?

    You know what?
Find BT base of knowledge here on the Toshiba EU support page:
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/Bluetooth/

There is an area of the Knowledge Base where you might find interesting FAQ How use BT

I read that BT stack can be used only with the module BT Toshiba or Toshiba BT material.
For other materials BT only a 30 days trial version is available.

  • Choose a printer as the Bluetooth device to connect to

    Hey guys,.

I use the following code (with success) to start sending data to a printer:

          BluetoothSerialPortInfo[] bluetoothSerialPortInfo = BluetoothSerialPort.getSerialPortInfo();
            StreamConnection streamConnection = (StreamConnection)Connector.open(bluetoothSerialPortInfo[0].toString(), Connector.READ_WRITE);
            DataOutputStream o = streamConnection.openDataOutputStream();

However, the above code only takes the first Bluetooth device and connects to that. Is it possible to get some info on who's on the other end?

    (a) is a printer or another type of device?

    (b) if it is a printer, what model?

    See you soon,.

... and here is the solution!

    Iterate bluetoothSerialPortInfo [] checking:

  • Bluetooth mouse lag when Bluetooth keyboard is connected

    Hello

I recently bought a Lenovo Thinkpad with windows 8, and I noticed a really annoying problem. I have a Bluetooth mouse and a bluetooth keyboard and my keyboard works fine, but when my Bluetooth keyboard is connected, my Bluetooth mouse is REALLY bad. If the keyboard is off then the mouse works great, only it messes up if the two are connected at the same time.

I have seen several discussions on the Bluetooth mouse problems when playing games or transfer of data, but mine does all the time if I have my keyboard connected at the same time.
