HP eprint mobile printing

I had my HP 7520 registered with eprint printer, but had to reset the "default" printer.  Now it asks me to register with eprint to use online features, but will not accept the code - saying (rightly) that it is already in use.  How can I reset this?

The code asks the Web site must be the code for the printer. You will need to print a new through the steps again. I'm going to the link below. You will need to choose a new ePrint for the printer email address as well. For reasons of security, that will be locked. Let me know what happens.

If you do not use ePrint then you can disable web services on your printer.  To disable the web service select the icon ePrint on the printer that is located at the top of the left ePrint page then go to settings and scroll down until you see remove web services.

Welcome to the Forums of HP's Support.

The printer model that you gave in your post, HP Officejet 4500 G510A made unsupported wireless or ethernet connectivity.  Without one of these methods of connectivity being available, there is no way taken in charge for the printer to communicate with a wireless device using the HP ePrint app. I've included a link to your printer's specifications.

I try to print to a mobile printer 100 HP from my IPAD.  I thought I might be able to use bluetooth connectivity, but the ipad cannot find the printer.  Is any way to print from the IPAD on this printer?

Does not support 100 Officejet ePrint or Airprint. This printer supports printing via Bluetooth, but not from your iPad.  Most of the users have found success using bluetooth printing from a laptop.

  • Web access is mandatory for ePrint for printer LAN?

I concede that I'm swimming against the tide, but I categorically refuses to connect anything of mine to 'The Cloud'.
(My WiFi connections have a 63 bytes Pseudo-aleatoires WPA2 AES key for some reason.)

But everything I've seen on ePrint seems to require that I create a HPConnected.com account (I have two 2 HP OTHER accounts) and main goal of this seems to impose a so-called 'benefits' to 'The Cloud' on me, if I want to that they or not.

All I want to be able to do is to print to my JO 8630 Pro from my Android phone or my iPAD AIR when in range of my WiFi Access Point.  I don't want to print when I'm away from my local network.  I don't see 'services' in the 'Cloud' I can't live happily without!

So, what is needed to achieve this?  I searched for clues and returned empty.

    Any help gratefully accepted...

    Hello

The HP ePrint servier require connecting to the cloud, as it is a cloud of serviece to allow printing from a remote location (beyond your local network).

To print from your mobile devices, you can use AirPrint, generation of HP in print for Android or the HP ePrint mobile App solutions everyone does not require to register for HP connected to exploit.

Below, you can all ways to print from an Android device:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c03679829

    And below for iOS devices:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c02796271

For all those, 3rd and 2nd options don't require any account of cloud.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8620: Use eprint to print in b & W

    Hello

I configured my printer Eprint Center so my colleague can print on my printer remotely. However what it prints out in color at my end. He said there is no option to its end to choose whether they come through color or B & W.

I need to print in color myself sometimes, but whatever he sends only must be B & W. is there a way to set all printing with HP Eprint for B & W only? (apart from him having to convert each file B & W before sending)

    Thanks in advance,

  • ePrint versus ePrint Mobile - and Activation of ePrint

Using my iPad, I installed the app on the Apple store ePrint.  What is the ePrint moble app?  Nothing on the Apple store indicates whether - or if it's just the "plain" ePrint application   Using the application that I have (whichever it is), I can now print on my Photosmart c6180 from my iPad.   FYI: the 6180 is on my network; It is not a printer Airprint.

Another thing.  I tried earlier "activation" of the application according to the instructions on your site.  But when I press the icon, I don't get a page that shows 'enable '.   I installed this app several weeks ago, so I have activated at this time here.  But I do not remember having a code of activation on your part.  Age - my memory is not what it was.  SO - can - you tell me if I'm turned on?  What information do you need to do?

And another thing.  ePrint does not appear as an app on my iPad settings page.  Acrobat Reader appear, like Apple's Pages app.  Because they do, I can tell what version, etc. of these apps I installed.  But since he ePrint is not displayed, I don't see what I have - and that deficit has led me to my initial question in this announcement.

    Hello

I'll try and answer some of your questions below: see the answer in bold

The only way to differentiate between various applications ePrint between them is that the icon looks like.  If a user must know the table of icons to tell what is being installed.  This observation is correct? I can only speak for the apple app store - each application only has a title/description and an icon if it shouold be clear that you install either the app.

Based on the icons in the grid on the web page that you sent me, I installed the app on my iPad ePrint mobile. In other words, if I am not mistaken.  I clicked on the icon of looked exactly like the 'mobile' application in web grid.  Is there a way I can confirm what app I have installed? When you open the application landing page should indicate the title of the app.

Other - why doen't the ePrint application appear in the list of apps on my iPad settings page?  If that were the case, I could tell what version, etc. I have.  Is not an "entire application" ePrint, or is it just a kind of auxiliary?  It appears perhaps somplace on iPad Safari browser? As far as I understand, not all applications appear under settings. It is up to the developer to decide if they want to put all the parameters or information and it seems for e-print, they have not included all the parameters y.

A related suggestion: when I go to the Apple store for ePrint using my iPad, the only application that is displayed is the simple mobile application - not the scan and fax app or app at the top of the grid web (in black).  And the legend of the icon just says ePrint - nothing about it being the mobile application.  I think that HP should include an informative caption or label of each icon to indicate what app it is. If you click on any application in the apple app store, the Details tab should give a clear descriptiono apps functionality.

Also, I see the grid on the web page I have installed - the mobile app - the app doesn't have to be 'activated '.  Am I wrong? Yes

And another observation.  HPs various support pages refer to a printing house and Biz app.  I couldn't find it in the Apple store.  As I mentioned above, only the mobile app ePrint arrives.  Is it because I can access the store of my iPad - either because this application was interrupted?  I note that it does not appear in the grid of web - so I would say that it has been discontinued. Yes, this seems to be the case.

  • HP ePrint mobile app on iPhone 4 & iPad retina - both devices say «Photos (0)»

I just installed HP ePrint mobile app on my iPhone 4S and my iPad retina. However, when I go in the application, when the main screen is displayed ('Photos'-'cloud'-'Web'-'Email'), when I type 'Photos', on every device it says: 'Photos (0)' - that is, I guess the app think I have 'zero photos' on both devices, which is obviously not true. Other details: (1) I have a Photosmart 7510 on my home wireless network; (2) I am able to print OK for the 7510 using Apple "AirPrint" - no problem; (3) I can also print using a device (iPhone or iPad) using the HP app 'PrinterControl '. So, how HP ePrint mobile app can not 'see' my photos on my iPhone or iPad (especially now that they can 'see' these pictures when you use the HP app "PrinterControl"). Thank you in advance to anyone who can shed some light on this situation.

The problem is related to the privacy settings on ios 6. To solve this, go to settings on your device and you should see a section of privacy. From there go to photos and turn on the eprint application. It should work to allow you to see the pictures.

  • HP Officejet Mobile Printe 100: Bluetooth pairing

I have a LG-D500 4.1.2 android. feature phone that I'm trying to pair it with my new 100 HP mobile printer.   The bluetooth of phone detects the printer and then ask a PIN as 0000 or 1234.  None of these base pins are accepted by the pairing process.  Need help to get matching conducted, or a way to get around, so I can use this printer on the road.

I also installed the application "Printshare.  So, I'm ready to go.  Just I have to get this dang thin pin situation.

    Hello

The ships of the printer with a predefined access key that is set to six zeros '000000', tyoing this password should allow to connect to the printer.

If you encounter problems, you can also reset the Bluetooth settings as follows, a reset will set the password as "000000" as the default:

  • Ideas and Suggestions for a Mobile printing in my environment

So I wanted to get some get some ideas from individuals on mobile printing solutions for my environment.  I have an internal network which uses a central print server to host several HP print queues.  I would like to be able to provide somehow a solution e-print mainly for mobile devices.  Yet once, just collect ideas here, but can someone provide suggestions on where I should Explorer for a possible solution?

    Thank you

Home & Biz should work for iOS and Android, but not the ones windows devices.  You must find a 3 rd-party application that allows printing to those.  The 9050 is not on the list of compatible printers for home & Biz (http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01619067), but it can work.

There is always Google Cloud Print, which could be a good solution all around for all your devices.  You can use virtually any printer.  You need to install all of the printers on a PC, install Google Chrome top to run 'share' since then, and it would be on for users to print.  It would, indeed, share printers to mobile devices.  Here's a link: http://www.google.com/cloudprint/learn/ , you must use the conventional printer option to implement the 9050 s.  On this page, there is also a link at the top for applications that can be used to print via Google Cloud Print.
