  Thanks for your reply James, that's a good point. I never thought, but I guess I'm getting "beta" versions because I must have clicked once "a part of our beta-testers version" or so.
  You are right I should leave that and only get standard versions to avoid any trouble more.

The fonts are beautiful, hardware acceleration, etc that has nothing to do with it. James touches the point: I use a beta version, and they obviously have bugs. I'll change to the normal versions.

• The Synaptics Touchpad in Acer Aspire One does not not after the installation of the wireless mouse.

  After you install a HD on my Acer Aspire One wireless mouse, the Synaptics Touchpad works not at all even if feataure troubleshooting indicates it works correctly.  Default is always to the wireless mouse. I tried to deavtivating the wireless mouse and reset to factory manufacturer.  This does not re-enable the Touchpad.

  Try Fn + F7. This option turns the touchpad on and outside.

  Thanks for your help.  Unfortunately no idea worked.  Windows Installer 4.5 is not good for Windows 7.  However, I was able to restore my computer to an earlier date and the previous itunes was there.  It still would not allow me to access without security clearance, but I finally understood how to afford access - I am the administrator and the only user - go figure!

  I would firstly you welcome on the HP Forums!

  Thanks for sharing the troubleshooting steps that you already have, and I say you are right that the issue is not with the HDMI cable or the 27 "monitor. From what you described in your post, it sounds as if he is with the drivers, maybe a conflict.

  I would like to begin with the installation of the original video drivers supplied with your laptop. I've included the document "using Recovery Manager to restore the software and drivers (Windows 8)". Please follow the steps to reinstall everything video original drivers. After you have installed the original drivers, restart your computer.

  Now, once the computer is restarted, you will need to install the updates that are available for HP and Windows. You can install both of them through the HP Support Assistant.   I understand that you upgraded to Windows 10, but due to a problem with the cursor freezing frequently, you returned back to Windows 7. Now the touchpad or keyboard to respond.   Recently, I ran a windows update and leave my computer turned off.  When you turn it on, the were (are) of the internet and the printer does not.  I went into Device Manager via Control Panel to see if I could turn them on and there is nothing pulling up in the Device Manager.  All documents and are accessible, but I can't even start a new internet connection and cannot print.   I am currently using another computer (more modern) in another room.  I even tried the SafeMode (f8 in the middle) from the model and go to Device Manager and nothing was there.  I just tried to go through the f8 option and beginning to a previous state that worked and I have the same result...  Everything is saved on that on a 350g portable hard drive.  It would just be easier to wipe the hard drive and start over? If so how would I do this reformatting?  Thanks for any advice.
