HP G6: Problems of combustion

My drive hard does not burn always correctly and the burn fails (using Nero 2014)

I downloaded Nero Info Tool and details given on my reader DVD A DS8A9SH

The Firmware version is EH61

It is the latest version and should I update?

If yes where can I find the load down.

If it helps, I have a failed burn log as produced by Nero

Any help gratefully received

@rogerlaptop101 ,

Hello and thanks for the display on the HP support forums.

Before you go and try to run firmware updates and so on.  You should look at the media you are using.

What type of DVD you are using.

Are they + R or -r or RW.

What type of files you are burning and have you tried to burn the exact file on a different disk.

Could you post back with more information on exactly what you're trying to burn and if you have tried other software and other disks.

Have you cleaned your dvd burner in the last moments?

We hope to hear from you soon.

Thanks again for posting and have a great day.

I had a similar problem of combustion and the end of the story, I replaced the drive ;(
However, try to remove the drive from Device Manager, and then again to restart the operating system should recognize the device again.
Then you could check if it able to burn the DVD s s.
I think you should also try burning different DVD media.

I have visited many work sites and the reader, and especially the calibration lens malfunction could be responsible for burning problems.
This could be a worst case and in this case, the replacement is necessary.

  • Satellite A40-231: cannot burn CDs or DVDs

    Hello

I can play CDs without problem, but I can't write them and DVD. I tried with Windows XP default recorder (by Roxio as he said), Nero and Infra Recorder but still had the same problem. Combustion process begins and finishes without errors with all of this software, but when I check the contents of the CD later, I see that nothing is written there, the CD is just considered as empty, or sometimes seen with 0 MB of available space, 0 MB total space.

I tried with the CD - r, CD - RW and the DVD but I got the same problem. I have 2 389 MB free in my disk space hard as he is seen by Nero for the ability of the temporary folder that it uses.

My DVD-R /-RW is recognized by Windows XP without problem and also, I installed the latest firmware from the site Web of Toshiba.

    Here are my specifications:

  • Combustion/Video Playback problems since again 'fixed' update drivers for TSST L632H

    Hi guys,.

Since I updated my drivers for my DVD playback was terrible, and it takes 30 to 45 minutes to burn a CD.

Has anyone experience this problem? I'm fairly muted, I would like to restore my drivers but then iTunes may stop working.

  • Problems with the Firewire Audio Interfaces

I use a Presonus Firebox for all of my recording and playback. I just bought a new pc HP with Vista64 and I had problems with my audio since then. Symptoms include random audio dropouts, crackling sounds when you scroll through the menus in my software, no noise at all from windows media, no windows generally sound player. Everything works sometimes, but inevitably fails. Once the audio is de-energized my only solution is to restart the computer, and then it still doesn't work sometimes. I don't understand. My last computer was a couple of years and built the hand. It worked perfectly with this unit until the motherboard is dead after what I bought my new HP desktop with terrible results. The main difference between my pc and this one is that I was using XP and XP64. However, I have the right drivers for the home and the computer recognizes it but I can't operate consistantly and correctly. This new HP has more power than my last, and more then enough power for my needs recording software. I would like to know, I've been recording music on PC for 8 years. Any advice would be welcome.

I am now convinced that the long nightmare is finally over. I tested my home over and over again with no failures. Record and playback midi seem to work perfectly. Here's what I did:

1 optimized my computer for audio streaming using the guide written by sweetwater.com.

2 uninstall all the drivers from Presonus and all software, including the removal of all PreSonus files on the registry using the instructions provided by the technical support of PreSonus.

3 disabled WLAN and then physically disconnected from the motherboard.

    4. my computer has two firewire ports. The front port was connected to the motherboard via a short cable. I physically unplugged the cable from the motherboard.

    5. I bought an Express(1x) PCI firewire 400 card with a Texas Instruments chipset. The exact brand is inner Pro PCI Express(1x) 4 port 1394 a. The firewire card is a power port. I plugged the power jack on the same line, connected to the DVD player. I don't know if it's important, but I'll try to document EXACTLY what I did. The firewire card requires no driver work. It came with a disc with a B.S. video editing software I was not installed.

    6. I turned on my computer and disabled the built-in firewire in Device Manager, leaving only the new active firewire card.

    7. I installed the drivers from the Firebox from the original disc supplied with my unit (v1.20.0). I had good results from these pilots in the past that may be because I use XPsp2.

    8. I have connected the combustion chamber when prompted to by the installation software.

    9. rebooted the computer with the combustion chamber connected and everything's fine.

    By the way:

The inner firewire card cost me $ 30.00

    My computer specs are:
    HP a6745f desktop
Dual core AMD 5050e 2.6 GHz
    XP sp2
    GigsRAM 4 (3.25 because I'm on XP)

If you are confused in the store on the question of whether a firewire card uses a Texas Instruments chipset. Try to get a glance at the map. You should see a chip bearing the logo of TI: the State of Texas, w / Ti. YeeeeeeeHawwwww!

  • Satellite L750D - update BIOS causing the CD Player problems

    I have a L750D-1GC Satellite running Windows 7. Recently I updated the BIOS to 1.60 04/05/12 THIS worm 1.40

I noticed that since that more that I have problems my CD player in what I can read CD/DVD but does not burn. Using burning software, it appears the combustion happens (rotation of the disk and green light), but at the end it breaks down. I have tried several Microsoft Fixit program but the problem persists, help?

I put t think that the BIOS update would impact on the functionality of CD/DVD drive.
Usually, the firmware of the CD/DVD drive contains information about the compatible media and I put t that any link between this question and the previous update of the BIOS.

For me is looks like the laser lens is dirty or the lens may not be properly calibrated to read/write from the disk
Try to clean the laser lens with cotton wool trick and liquid alcohol in many cases this would set similar question and the player couldn't handle the media properly.

  • Creation of Windows DVD, encoding of problems/gel/stops

I am trying to burn a DVD video disc of dvr - ms files, but I had tons of problems with DVD Maker included in Windows 7.

I am burning 2 files dvr - ms to about 1.75 hours of video each (3.5hrs) total on a DVD + r double layer everything goes well when I slipped the creation of DVD files and previews work very well.

DVD Maker encoding start quite well until ' he reached about 80% of the encoding, then suddenly goes to 99% encoding and said that "year error occurred when burning the DVD. The burning process, even n start (my DVD is left intact) and the error message is not very useful. I have disabled all codecs (in the options), changed the media disc, even tried to burn on a virtual, also try burner on a clean install of 7 in a VM, still no luck. I tried to re - encode the file in some AVI files, but now it takes hours to burn a single DVD (I'm still 36% after 2.5 hours, I'll see if it works)

I tried on another computer Windows 7, still the same problem except that DVD Maker stops encoding to 74.9% with no error message, or whatever, the progress bar is just frozen. If I cancel, DVD Maker freezes with the half-burned DVD, and I reboot to unlock the drive.

Dvr - ms files come straight from Media Center (Vista).

A strange thing is that Live Movie Maker says that a DVD DL can contain up to 3 hours of video, so the DVD Maker says that it can hold 5 hrs? Is this a bug or is it simply because the coding compression used is different?

Go I love Windows 7 but DVD Maker from Microsoft really needs a rejuvenation treatment technical for coding and the combustion process. It shouldn't be so complicated that burn a dvr - ms to DVD file, seriously.

EDIT: It worked when converting dvr - ms to avi files, but now I'm getting burning problems. DVD Maker says "Please enter another recordable DVD" to a disc after burning (because he has got more capacity?), and 2 other discs have their last chapters not readable. It seems DVD Maker not is not able to adapt the videos on the disc, even if she says I 30 minutes left on the disc when you drag the videos first?

EDIT: It finally worked. I re-encoded avi files dvr - ms files. Then I burned all the DVD using DVD Maker on Virtual CD, virtual cd burner. I then burned the ISO resulting with 7 isoburn. But I don't think that an average user could do that, it's a bit too complicated. My burner is a year old and supports writing dual layer. Why is not able to burn directly to DVD to DVD Maker remains fuzzy.

  • Problem burning files on DVD-R disc

Yesterday, to make room on my laptop Windows 8, I started burning files on DVD-R discs.  I have an average combustion 4.18 GB on 4.7 GB discs with great success.  Today, I tried to continue the exact same process, but I keep getting warnings that there is not enough space on the disc and I need 2 more GB of space.  Nothing has changed.  The same discs, same type of file.  Everything is exactly the same thing, so why I get the warning?  This happened to me in the past with my computer laptop windows 7 and different flash drives.  For example.  I had an empty 16 GB flash drive that I tried to add the 5 GB file and I got a warning that the flash player was not large enough to hold the file.  I'd appreciate any help I can get.

    Hi Christophe,

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

I understand the inconvenience that you face. Let me help you solve the issue.

I would be grateful if you can provide us with the following information to help us better understand the issue.

    • What burning software you use to burn the CD/DVD?
    • You did it all change before this problem?
    • What is the exact error message you get to the screen?

DVD burning problem: I burn the movie on widescreen PAL on a DVD-R disc. I managed it burned without menu. I have now added a "Pan and Zoom" menu with a main marker at 00:00:00:00, 21 scene markers and a cleat to 01:29:32:17 (the end of the film). The combustion is interrupted with a message to watch a C:\Users\ianle_000\Documents\20151206160446.iso file. There is no file. The message also provides a link for an explanation. This Web page is impossible to obtain. I'm running on a PC with Windows 8.1.

Thank you once again. I burned the DVD!

It is the first film for which I have reached the stage of burning. I'm not sure why she didn't in the first place. I tried to burn the "no menu" version, but at the time, was shot the DVD itself - I wonder when he reached this point?

So, I burned the "no menu" version to another DVD, that worked, then the version of menu, with no cleat to a third DVD, which reads perfectly.

Now that I have a successful routine, I'll stick to it.

    Thanks for all your help.

  • problem inserting of titles in long audio file

I use audition 2.0 and work with audio tracks for a long time, in which I use markers to track during combustion.

My problem is that once I have burn the project, while the tracks are there, the names of the tracks (names) are NOT appear when I test in Windows Media Player.

I used the hearing for years, but this little problem me stumpted.

Marker type I select is a marker for 'track '.

I typed the name of "label".

In the dialog box 'CD list follow the use', I've fiddled with every imaginable combination of things to the list or remove them from the list.

After the insertion of markers, I 'mix' ed or "recorded under" reinserted, or just parked in the CD session and burned.

I read the forums and my book of hearing class and I can't source a solution.

    Allen anderson wrote:

The whole issue is a problem WMP, not a hearing one. WMP does not read what is actually on the disk at all - it reads the UPC/EAN code, and search relevant information stored on the disk - which fails to do in the case of your home one, obviously.

Writing of CD-text only written the artist and title, with the UPC/EAN. If you want to get WMP to read the CD-text at all, must have WMP 10, and must also have the plugin WMPCDText to go with it before it will show. If you want more information, look here.
