Problem burning files on DVD-R disc
Yesterday, to make room on my laptop Windows 8, I started burning files on DVD-R discs. I have an average combustion 4.18 GB on 4.7 GB discs with great success. Today, I tried to continue the exact same process, but I keep getting warnings that there is not enough space on the disc and I need 2 more GB of space. Nothing has changed. The same discs, same type of file. Everything is exactly the same thing, so why I get the warning? This happened to me in the past with my computer laptop windows 7 and different flash drives. For example. I had an empty 16 GB flash drive that I tried to add the 5 GB file and I got a warning that the flash player was not large enough to hold the file. I'd appreciate any help I can get.

Can my laptop burn double layer DVD + R discs?
Hey, I have a laptop of HP G60-213EM
And I know that I can burn a DVD + R etc but can I burn double layer DVD + R discs? On my PC, I usually use Verbatim discs double layer. And really want a quick answer if anyone knows if my laptop will burn Verbatim dual layer DVD + discs R. thanks
Easy trolling for the congratulations but not so easy to give the right info. Yes, you have the DVD Multi burner double layer, so you can burn discs double layer. You must also good burning software. Two layers are difficult to do and you get a lot of roller coaster. The jump from Layer 1 to layer 2 to the burning often causes a problem. The best way to do it is to make a .iso to first and then burn.

Why does my windows 7 h.p. not burn video on DVD-R disc
I put in a DVD-R disc, when I select a video and click BURN, pc rejects disc and ask a recordable disc... What am I doing wrong?
You must use a program to burn the files to disc,
A data burn don't must generally not any program next to Windows Explorer to copy and paste the files on the disk
Of course, only a computer will be able to read the disc.
Windows Photo for this Gallery / Director of windows,.

Or you can use windows media player.

Pavilion g6-2306el: problems with the recovery DVD-R discs
Hello, it's only now that I saw that the DVD + R is suggested for all recovery discs burning. A little too late for me, since I bought several DVD-R to produce my game. Here is what happened: each disk has been created with difficulty; the burning process failed on all the others try. But in the end, I finally got the DVD-R 4 program have been burned and verified correctly. Now, when I tried to insert each disk to make sure that the laptop was able to read properly (the content supposed to be confirmed, after all), to my horror, I realized the first two discs were not being recognized. However, my patience was rewarded when, after a long time, suddenly, an Explorer window showing the contents of the disc. Taking advantage of the situation, I immediately copied this content in a folder on the desktop. It took me a long time to do this process for the content of the first two discs that had recognized problems. Subsequently I also copied the contents of the discs 3 and 4, which was much faster. Now, I have four folders with the corresponding content of the recovery disks in the office. The question is: can I use these content and burn on DVD + R this time, in order to have a working set of recovery disks? Thank you very much.
Hi @anthony_s
Thank you for your query.
I understand that you have created your recovery on the wrong type of DVD disc and does not work. You have copied the contents of folders on the desktop you and want to know if you can now create new recovery DVD on the appropriate type of files.
No, it will not work. I suggest that you contact HP support and inform about events and inquire about obtaining a recovery kit.
Please contact our technical support at 800-474-6836. If you do not live in the United States / Canada region, please click on the link below to get a number of assistance for your region.
I found this link on the HP forum, that you can read, I don't know if it works or not. Please let me know if it is successful.
This is how to do a 2nd set of recovery disks.
Good luck!

=> Burner(error message in image) Windows disk
-Online Imgburn: error message - disc finalization failed
Any suggestions?
Error message using Windows disc burner:
Thank you

Have you tried a few different brands of media? Sometimes the burner just don't like some discs. If so, the only thing I can think of to try is to boot from a Linux Live USB and see if it can burn DVDs from a Linux program as k3b for burning. That solve a software problem (Windows).

DVD burning problem: I burn the movie on widescreen PAL on a DVD-R disc. I managed it burned without menu. I have now added a "Pan and Zoom" menu with a main marker at 00:00:00:00, 21 scene markers and a cleat to 01:29:32:17 (the end of the film). The combustion is interrupted with a message to watch a C:\Users\ianle_000\Documents\20151206160446.iso file. There is no file. The message also provides a link for an explanation. This Web page is impossible to obtain. I'm running on a PC with Windows 8.1.
Thank you once again. I burned the DVD!
It is the first film for which I have reached the stage of burning. I'm not sure why she didn't in the first place. I tried to burn the "no menu" version, but at the time, was shot the DVD itself - I wonder when he reached this point?
So, I burned the "no menu" version to another DVD, that worked, then the version of menu, with no cleat to a third DVD, which reads perfectly.
Now that I have a successful routine, I'll stick to it.
Thanks for all your help.
I'll close this discussion now.

DVD and CD burning problems. "There was a problem burning this disc."
My Windows 7 64-bit is used to burn CDs and DVDs fine, but has developed a problem burning CD, DVD and Blu - ray using the software's built-in windows. Both drives burn perfectly well using third-party software 3rd IMGburn, that leads me to conclude that this is a specific Windows problem.

Satellite A135 - problem with the CD/DVD burner
Hey guys,.
A few days ago as nearly a week ago I had burned an audio CD for myself and it worked perfectly. Today when I tried to burn an image on my DVD, disaster. I use two software. IMGBURN & NERO. Unfortunately both failed me. What is happening is that the burning process starts normally, it shows that the buffering and burning taking place as well as caching of files. "Finally, it shows the burning process has been a success, but when it comes to verification, the drive appears saying: data verification failed - too many errors (Nero) and for IMGBURN it says ' they layouts do not match. When I reinsert the DVD, it shows that it is completely empty. Although both claim that the fire was successful. Later, I tried to burn a data dvd, still no luck, engraving, he shows successfully but verification fails and reinsert is empty. My laptop is: Satellite A135

Hello
If you can't burn DVDs, then you should check first if it is a software problem based question or related equipment.
I've been reading about the reader of CD/DVD burning questions and as many times the registry has been corrupted.
Means that you was able to burn the DVD after you remove the upper and lower filters in the registry. Google for it and you'll find many pages. Is there a problem of CD/DVD drive, then you should find a good update on the page of European Toshiba driver in your laptop. If there is no update firmware, then it means that this firmware is ok and it s not necessary to date.
Last but not Lea not all CD/DVD drive are compatible with all drives (CD and DVD).
Why? Because the different CD and DVD manufacturers produce own using different standards. In this case, it may be possible that not all discs will be properly treatedI had the same problem but might solve this problem by using TDK R CD or DVD

Burning Image files of DVD on Qosmio G20 using Norton Ghost backup?
Hello
I have Norton SystemWorks Premier which includes Ghost v.10. Try as I might, I can't burn an Image of my hard drive to the DVD Ghost v.10 is supposed to be compatible with RAID-0, which I use. The drive from DVD-RAM UJ-845 s is listed as being supported by ghost.
The image is quite small... can't remember the exact size (less?), but it's just the BONE more office and some other applications, so that windows and update Office 80 or more required after reinstalling the recovery disc. There is no user files (Docs, films, music, etc.) which I backup by simply copying to DVD. I have no problem burning the Image file on my drive C: (which would be pretty useless in a collision).
Norton Support led me through the hoops, with no resolution. They suggest that I have buy third-party DVD burning software (Nero is their recommendation) to burn the Image of the c: to DVD, or buy a USB hard drive and see if it works. What a COP out!
I wonder if anyone has had any chance of burning the Images to backup directly to DVD with Ghost, Acronis, etc.. It seems to be a necessity when the Image on the recovery disk is now hopelessly obsolete (and loaded with stuff I don't want or need).
Any advice will be appreciated.
Hi Allan
You are not able to burn this image on a DVD because of the size of the image!
The 10 GB are too! The DVD runs approximately 4.7 GB and you will not be able to burn 10 GB on the DVD.I created a file of image on the second partition, and if something goes wrong I can restore the partition C all from the D partition where saving the image file.

Problem with TSSTcorp TS-L632D TO04 CD/DVGW stoped burning CD and DVD
Hello world! The problem is basically just, he doesn't want to write/burn any cd/dvd brand more. He works wonders for little over a year and recently developed this problem. I'm sure that's not media brands I've tried with several. The problem with Nero, Alcohol120%, MagicISO, PowerISO, Burn4Free, regardless of what I am trying to burn data, audio, regular programs or images. Note that I am able to write with alcohol with success but there is in fact nothing on the CD and Nero burns the data also but fails to verify after the fact and gives an error. Writing on DVD R/RW is completely failed, creating coasters. Also the Player opens without reason and when he wants. I have laptop Toshiba A200 - 1 MB under original Vista Home Premium. Here's an error report, hopefully it'll help. Thanks and any assistance is much appreciated!

Try to remove the CD/DVD filters in the registry.
When the associated CD/DVD (such as iTunes, Nero, virtual CD software), the software is installed, they install filters in the registry, which can cause compatibility problems.(1) run Regedit (start-> Run-> Regedit)
2) navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\ {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
(3) in the right pane, delete the "UpperFilters" key and delete the key "LowerFilters".
(4) restart. If your CD/DVD programs stop working, you will need to reinstall them (preferably with an updated version).
This utility can remove the filters for you:

I'm looking to burn .avi files that I found in the torrent files downloaded using utorrent on a DVD + R disc. I noticed in several forums that most of the people seem to have problems in windows media player. Someone mentioned a program in Windows Vista that could be used, but I'm still in the stone age with Windows XP. I took some advice and downloaded a program called ConvertXToDVD, but I don't know what to convert .avi files to in order to burn properly and play on a standard DVD player.
Any advice would be helpful.
