HP G60 - 247CL downgrade to XP

Hello. Sorry for my English... I know it's very bad.

I am trying to downgrade a laptop G60 - 247 CL from Windows Vista to XP, but I couldn't find any drivers in the official web. Anyone know where I can download them?

Thanks to advice!.

(I hope you could understand me )

Hello

First make Vista Beckup. Information how to do it here.

Then update your Bios here.

Remember, also, that you use the Windows XP SP2 version. If you have not got the version SP2 here you can download this service pack

and here you guide how to integrate this file with your new system of nLite.

In this program, you can even burn your new XP cd with this driver.

  • Need to see all the settings in the bios!

    I have a laptop HP G60 - 247CL

I just put in 4 gigabytes of ram from corsair gaming super fast! Make sure that the settings are correct on the clock on the cylinder speed. Need to see all the settings in the bios but shows no not the memory clock speed!

How to unlock bios to display all the freaking parameters. If I knew that HP has locked the bios, I would not have bought this piece of shit!

I can't get CPU - Z no much, but that does not give me the ability to change speeds of memory. I need to make sure that they correct r. I need to be able to enter the wood to make changes. Locking the BIOS settings is really stupid!

While the Insyde BIOS that is supplied with the units of G60 is insufficient information, there are other routes, you can take to check your ram timings. I found that the timing of the memory itself with enough accuracy on my G60-235 and was able to check it with CPU - Z and Everest Ultimate. (Which are both a freeware or a functional demo.)

In particular, I noticed that the adjusted to 5-5-5-15 timings (OCZ DDR2-6400) after replacing the modules Kingston stocks. (Which seems to me to remember turned to 6-6-6-18).

    I hope this helps.

  • HP G60 - 127CL with XP laptop hardware Downgrade from Vista to XP question

We have recently bought a HP G60-127 CL laptop and downgraded the OS from Vista to XP Professional with SP3 home.  I found all the drivers and installed them.  All pilots show that "working properly" and everything works except the network controller (wireless I think).  When I go to Device Manager, then in the other devices section, it says "network controller" with yellow?  Note: I installed the driver wireless adapter lan Broadcom 802.11 including hp recommended, rebooted, but still does not work.  I tried reinstalling the drivers, installation of versions of different driver, installation of service pack 3, reinstall XP, etc, but nothing works.  My network card works fine, so I figure that he need Wireless Lan because I can't turn on.  Any ideas?

Here is the answer. It's an Atheros card not a Broadcom. Atheros AR5009.

  • HP G60-441US for XP downgraded

Having a hard time with a computer that my boss initially messed up.  There are 3 devices which are not recognized, & I can't find. The model of this puppy is a HP G60-441US & the original vista hard disk backup section was destroyed.  I found most of the drivers online through other posts on this site, but the Audio device on High Definition Audio Bus, Data Acquisition & Signal Processing PCI controller with Controller of Bus SM are not found / ID through the following steps that I read on previous posts. I decided to start again tonight to rework the drivers & would appreciate any advice/links that can help me in this process.

Intel chipset should take care of Sm Bus:

  • Downgrade from Vista to XP for HP G60 120EM

Hello world. I have a HP G60 120EM NotebookPC with Windows Vista Edition home premium of the edition installed. I am very happy with Vista, and I want to install Windows XP instead. Only that, when I insert the installation disc, after reading the files for installation, the computer stops and gives me a blue screen telling me that an error has stopped the installation program. What can I do? Is it possible to install XP on this computer?

Just bought HP G60-100EM 2 days ago. Is Vista really slow. Sucsessfully installed Windows XP 64 bit + 2 GB more Ram (4 altogether now)

Its very fast now. the only problem that I had to dig all the drivers in the internet, but they are there...

    Alex.

  • Downgrade WIndows XP 7 in HP G60-458DX (Intel)

Can you give me the steps a little more clear than in the sticky? I'm so confused... I get the blue screen with the technical after that error it says that "starting Windows." I joined the ICH9 driver and I use Windows XP SP2 disk... I can't find what I'm doing wrong...

The windows startup error is not related to ICH9 sata driver, it saw a copy of the setup of XP from hard drive or burning process.

From the beginning again, copy a new copy of the XP installation program and make sure that there is no error message.

Wake ICH9 sata driver and it would be better to get the full SP3 to integrate with Nlite: SP3

If you feel that the guide is not clear enough, in what stage do you have problems?

  • BIOS error 104: network card not supported after the update of the bios, HP G60

Recently, my hard drive has begun to fail. I bought a new drive, installed a Windows 7 ISO on a flash drive, installed etc. I have a HP G60-237NR. I have reinstall everything, and then I went to the page of the drivers for my laptop. I started to install stuff, at that time there I was bored so I'd sort of from the bottom to the top if this order of the questions, I can give more details on that if I need to. I downloaded the BIOS update, because I thought that "good, he he listed for my computer, I have no doubt it needs to be updated since my laptop like 6 years. Flashed the BIOS, my computer shut down and restart didn't like I thought he was supposed to. I turned on and well 'device 104 - unsupported of detected wireless network. System stopped. Remove device and restart. "I tried to find out what to do, which told me to remove the network adapter, the bios downgrade, plug it back and you're good. Well, I unplugged my network card and the snap-snap-in two sons who attaches and restarted, he did all the stuff. I got the same error. EDIT: I meant I plugged my network back in, but still got the error. Where I had the clichés about evil, I passed the clichés and double checked the connections maps, but still nothing. Everything I found said that should have worked, I'm on the same version of the BIOS, I started with that, but it does not recognize my network card. What am I doing here? Please help, thanks.

    Hello

When you have the outside wireless card, you have the error?

If this isn't the case, then you can get necessary to replace the wireless adapter. I would not be able to explain how, but something may have cause to fail.

You can find maps of replacement of support on page 16 Chapter 4 of the Guide Service and Maintenance for your laptop.

    I hope this helps.

    Please help me...

Please read the sticky post about downgrade XP problem, here

Your model is in part 2, moderate.

About LAN driver, all you have to do is to install Nvidia chipset.

Laptops with AMD processors, install first the Nvidia chipset.

The chipset drivers also install Ethernet, SMBus, SATARAID and more, see the doc from Nvidia.

  • How downgrade to El Capitan without having in the Mac App Store

Hello! I'm completely new to Mac and for this forum. Coming from Windows, I found the keyboard a bit confusing. So I installed carabiner, which most of the time worked like a charm.

Then there was a notification update to Mac OS Sierra. So I did. And now the carabiner is broken. In addition, the trackpad scroll is annoyingly slow, and I realized that I just liked El Capitan more generally.

But since I got the Mac with El Capitan, I don't have in my list of purchased on the App Store. So where can I find an official download to create installation media, and then reinstall El Capitan (which, as far as I KNOW, is the only way to "downgrade" a Mac if I have no backup of before)? I have no personal files on Mac yet, so I don't mind erase the drive.

Suggestions would be highly appreciated, even with solutions) 1 carabiner to work again and 2) to change the sensitivity of scrolling to the trackpad.

Thank you for helping a newbie to Mac!
