HP iPAQ rx3100 PDA
I have an older ipaq rx3100 pda I want syn with Outlook 2010 on my computer with Windows 7. Everything that I tried to Activesync 4.5 for Windows 'supposed' fix for Vista does not work. It is said that it is not compatible.
I would use this device. How can I work with my computer? Any help?
Thanks in advance!
Jason
Uninstall ActiveSync. It is not compatible with Windows 7.
You need Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1. See http://support.microsoft.com/kb/931937.

PDA, USB (Solar Express Card CF) host
Not sure of the interest. But I tried the new Solar Express Compact Flash USB host card (currently in an IPAQ 210 PDA running WinMobile 6).
It worked like a charm with LabView PDA DAQbase code example and NI USB-6009 case.
I really bought this for use in an accommodation not USB - PDA and will try in an Axim X50v.
For the record the IPAQ 210 has a built-in feature, USB Host but initially good cables were not available, these are now available and the USB-6009 case work with them. Unfortunately, I could only to work if the route cables through a USB-mini first hub. This is not necessary with the card see
In the CF and the native IPAQ USB accommodation, no additional power supply is required to run the 6009, although I still have to check the battery consumption. The solar Express card comes with a cable USB Y-joint, which allows the additional power supply accessory on USB. The card CF itself, I think, is limited to 200 my draw.
See below links for the solar Express product.

I think it works well for the price of $85. And seems to work with many older PDA, which is good for the fans and those who, like me, with the 'old' unused who hang out.

iPAQ would not connect to the windows XP computer
I bought a new computer I am having trouble connecting my ipaq to the active sync to the computer. It says mobile device was not created with this computer. When I try following the instructions, I'm not going to be successful.
Any material support, regardless of the operating system that you are running, is the manufacturer of the equipment. This includes all software/drivers that you need to install so that your operating system of choice to communicate with that hardware.
Be very specific in the iPaq model you have (heck, I guess it's a Pocket PC iPaq and not an iPaq desktop at that time - but that's an assumption.)

SDIO Bluetooth Toshiba in iPaq rz1710
I have a TOshiba Bluetooth SD-BT00U sdio card and an iPaq rz1710.
I can't get the bluetooth card to be detected by the ipaq.
Are there updates/driver compatibility information?
[Edited by: admin 14 March 05 21:12]
Hello
If you wish, you can visit this site http://aps.toshiba-tro.de/bluetooth/. It is possible that there is a problem with the SDIO standard, but in this case, I think you have to choose some information of the producer of PDA.
Good bye

iPAQ turns off when taken off the coast of the Office docking station
My hp iPAQ PDA (model 4155) began to turn off when I take it off the cradle of office. I don't see any options or settings to correct this. Please notify.
Sounds to me like the battery takes is no longer a burden. You can probably find a new battery for your iPaq by searching on the internet.

LabVIEW 8.5 pda pda module and terralogic
Hi all
I currently use module 8.5 pda to develop an application and have it run successfully on both a HP Ipaq 5550 running Pocket PC 2003, and also a Sony Ericcson X 1 phone running Windows Mobile 6. My client is about to get your hands on a Terralogic DA05 Toughnote PDA with mobile 6 that demand eventually will run. This unit has an Intel Bulverde processor so my question is, someone has (good or bad) experience of running one a 8.5 built the pda application using this processor?
See you soon
Hello Jason,
My apologies for the late response, but have since put the hand on the pda, has created a bluetooth application using 8.5 and everything worked fine.
Thanks for the info.
See you soon

PDA time control is not editable
I have a PDA LV8.6 application installed on an iPAQ hx2490c running Windows Mobile 5.0. On the front is a cluster that contains a DateTime control and a control chain. Date/time control cannot be changed by using one of the functions available on the local keypad. The control of the chain changes very well.
The components of the date and time can be selected, and the cursor moves between the numbers correctly, but back on the elements have an effect on the values or type a new value. This seems to be a problem with the control of time.
Hi Michael,
I gave it a try and I've seen the same behavior as you. It seems that direct input is not supported (I tried other versions as well) and is unfortunately not documented. I'll make a point report to R & D as something that we must fix, or document. There are often cases like this, that just needs to be better documented with the Mobile Module (because of the process of compilation involved), and that we just need to find a way around.
The options seem to be to use the up/down keys, or the browser popup. The browser allows you to enter the date and time via the on-screen keyboard. Otherwise, you can also try to manipulate digital and string entries in the timestamps (there are screws that do).
Thank you for reporting this issue. We appreciate any comment like this, we can get!
see you soon,

HP travel companion: travel companion iPaq ideal
Help!
Please forgive me in advance if this is not shown in the location.
Reason for post:
I bought a HP travel companion second hand of Goodwill industries. I knew I was taking a chance because I didn't even know if it worked when I bought it and I had to load when I got home.
When I loaded and it works I have seen that it was locked, requiring a four-digit code to open it. There was the name of the former owner and his phone number. I called the number, but it has been disconnected.
There was also a 'my information' screen that only flashed for a fraction of a second of all the minutes. I took a video with my phone until this flashed, then played a frame by frame, freeze on this image to see the info. On this screen is the name of owners back once again, with a HP owned e-mail address. I typed a detailed message explaining my dilemma, asking what is the code, but once I sent, the email bounced back with a NOTICE of DEFAULT of MAILER-DAEMON.
I am, apparently, at the end of the road with no left options with regard to the definition of this camera for my wife to be. I was hoping to do this as a gift.
Is there a way to open this companion and I hope that re-record, would someone give this nugget of wisdom for me please!
Respectfully,.
Granite œuvres -.

Move data from iPaq 1945 for iPaq 211 Enterprise and Windows 8 for laptop
My iPaq 2795 crashed recently, leaving me dependent on my iPaq 1945 earlier... Yes, laugh if you want {chuckling}.
SO I must to replace both and am interested in the iPaq 211 Enterprise Handheld, to do.
The types of 1945 and my 2795 files are synchronized with the 211 company? I'm hoping to sync my address book with my new handheldl and my laptop, which runs on Windows 8 (ugh).
I don't want to retype my entire 20 years worth of contacts!
Thank you kindly,
Linda
The data format that is used throughout all these iPAQ is quite similar, so this won't be a problem, but you won't be able to synchronize your Outlook data from a windows machine 8 from windows mobile device Center is not completely compatible with Windows 8 operating system and Microsoft had no intention to make it work.

Stack of Windows Mobile 6 and BT-> how to set up PC->; PDA->; Internet connection
Hello
My configuration: another laptop manufacturing with TrueMobile 350 (Toshiba stack)
and a PDA Windows Mobile 6 PocketPc (Phone Edition) (TyTn)I would use my PDA as a server of PAN to use its internet connection with my laptop (PC-> PDA-> Internet. I combined the two devices, but when I activated the Internet sharing on my PDA I have no function on my laptop to access the PAN, created by the PDA.
"Auto-discovery is the only way to implement the services. However, the PAN service does not appear unless the devices are paired.
Toshiba can only pair with devices seen in the discovery... "
http://Forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=297561&highlight=Bluetooth+intern and + sharingI'm not the only one with a problem and I have already installed the battery v5.
Hello
Have you already checked this Toshiba Bluetooth 'FAQ' and 'How to' area?
http://APS.toshiba-tro.de/Bluetooth/You will find HOW TO useful documents e.g. on:
-Internet on PDA via PAN used for Gateway Laptop
-Browse for computer laptop-sharing via PDA and PAN
-etc.Maybe you'll find some useful tips.
PS: Sorry I m not an expert of BT and, therefore, I can't say much about this case

Wireless connection P20 for PDA
Just bought a P20 & am tearing my hair out trying to connect my Axim PDA. Is not not a geek, I turned on the WiFi on the PDA and the PDA but not 'See' each other.
WiFi says Control Panel works fine
Does anyone know a good step by step guide that Toshiba/Windows Help is not help.
Thank you
WarrenHi Warren
You already did link between P20 and PDAS using the cable? Before trying to make any kind of connection you have to the synchronization between the two units using cable. If this works correctly after that you can try to make a wireless connection.
