HP laptop - 15-ac103ca: quickbooks processor speed requirements

Just bought a new laptop HP - 15 - ac103ca with 10 windows and 4 GB memory DDR3 - someone told me that it won't work my quickbooks applications because it has only a processor clocked at 1.6 GHz - is this true?

Hello

I don't see why not. There is a processor low voltage that I wouldn't recommend, but turbo technology boost will kick if necessary.

    Apple says the following:

    General requirements

    • OS X 10.6.8 or later version
    • 2 GB memory
    • 8.8 GB of available storage

For best performance, I would say not less 4 GB and preferably 8 GB or more.

Your i5 is well able to support properly.

  • Better to have more processor speed? or more cores?

Our Mac Pro marketing departments are in need of an upgrade. So we built the most recent Mac Pro on the Apple site, but had a question about the processor. There are mainly 2 options of a processor as we watched, 6 strands 3.5 GHz with 12 MB of L3 cache and 3.0 GHz 8 - core with 25 MB of L3 cache. Is there a recommendation with the software Creative cloud (especially Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop) on if it's faster / more efficient to have the fastest processor speed? or having more cores? InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop is great in MultiThreading?

    Thanks for your help!

    Hi Adrienna,

For specifications for creative cloud applications system requirements, please visit the following link: system requirements | Cloud Creative

In addition, two configurations are pretty overwhelming and a disabling these can manage applications CC very well although my personal recommendation would be one with core processor 3.0 Ghz 8 with 25 MB of l3 cache, there are more hearts but also about l3 cache memory.

    Kind regards

  • ProBook 430 G3: Pleasure of the laptop cooling accelerates the low speeds constantly

    Hello

I have a brand new HP Probook G3 of 430 who works and do everything just great, the only problem is his strange cooling fan noise.

The problem is that it accelerates and accelerates downwards constantly without visible reason. (Please note that this is not normal behavior when coolers change from higher temperature of the processor speed). The interval between the top speed down is less than a second and it is constant. So imagine when cooler works on higher speed, it is not smooth, as it is supposed to be, but little wave / floating.

I'm not sure with speeds laptos fans run, but if view the problem it will look something like shown below

    Action taken:

    • Updated the BIOS to the latest version - did not help.
    • Start the 'Fan always on AC Power while' - sounds even.

Can anyone suggest anything to diagnose the problem of fan? Mayble there's some fan diagnostincs tools or anything else that can help.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

I will say that it is a hardware problem with the fan itself. You could try and blow with compressed air. There may be a clog of dust or something that is causing do drag, dislodge, then reclogging. Or the fan may be faulty.

I would like to make a warranty case or if you can return it for a replacement that would be a good idea, too. The Probooks are fairly easy to work, and it's possible hP might just send you a new fan but I doubt little.

  • Pavilion 15-n248sa: what processor speed is shown on the information sheet?

I was recently going through all my stuff, work on which should be placed in a cell, when I found all the information about my computer sheets. On one of these journals, it says that I have an Intel Pentium Quad - Core 2.4 GHz processor N3520, but when I go into the control panel system page, it says I have an Intel Pentium Quad - COre N3520 2.16 GHz processor (it says 2.00 GHz when I was on windows 8.1, the preinstalled operating system, but has increased during the update). The processor name and model number are identical on the sheet and the Control Panel, but the speeds are different from almost 400 MHz, the origianal operating system and almost 250 MHz off now. I was wondering if it was because on the sheet, they wrote the overclock speed, or if HP has another way of mesuring the speed of the processor as the OS does.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I have attached the image of the sheet that I found, (badly) photoshopped of private information.

Please see Intel® Pentium® Processor N3520 (2 M Cache, up to 2.42 GHz) to get answers to your question. Basis of the processor speed is 2.16 GHz, burst speed is 2.40 GHz, and according to the power state of the computer speed can be reduced to slot an of these.

  • The processor speed and RAM for Hyperion 11.1.2.3

    Hi all

Can I know where I can get the information below:

For example, we are 4 dev servers. Installation modules: Foundation, Essbase, FDM, ODI, Planning Reporting

for 50 users, how can we calculate RAM, processor, processor speed how?

    Documents or articles as well.

    Thank you

    Mady

Not wishing to be too dismissive but it's one of these "how long a piece of string fo do I need?' type questions."

The memory & processors will depend on the size and complexity of the applications/cubes resulting.

As Essbase is always subject to a single processor by cube of pork, it is best to go for high speeds (3 Ghz +) processor more quanity of carrots for an essbase server.

As a rough starting point I would usually put up on about 4 servers each at least 16 GB of RAM and 4 cores of each. However, you can get everything on a single server if he;'s spec is good enough and your cargo will be light (dev purposes).

If the app is great, or reports strong he might need for more servers (Weblogic applications horizontal scale) or more of memory.

  • different processor speeds

The VI of ESX5i customer reports CPU as E5630 @2 model. 53 GHz but processor speed shows that 1.6 GHz. It is a machine of R 510 dell with BIOS version 1.5.3. What is the actual speed?  and why it is showing different speeds? Is there any logic or just a restriction on the side of the BIOS? Any response will be appreciated

    Thank you

You may have low power settings configured in the BIOS, change in the configuration.

Also look on the host computer in configuration / power management, you will see the settings for the processors in there, you can select the properties to change.

I always set mine to performance in both contexts.

  • The wrong processor speed is displayed on my Satellite A100-813

Satellite A100-813, I bought a week ago. When you right-click on my computer and take the properties, you can see the details of the system including CPU speed and RAM etc.

The speed of the processor showed 2.00 GHZ, 0.99 GB of RAM up to this morning, but now it's show 1.99 GHZ instead of 2.00 GHZ. As far as RAM is concerned, it is show as 0.99 GB.

Pease help me to clear up this confusion... Thank you & best regards

    Hallo Najam

Your laptop has Intel graphics shared memory card. This means that this memory of the graphics card RAM memory. Because of this it will be always shown less than what they should be indicated.

  • HP Pavilion dv8: processor speed

The cpu speed reported in the Task Manager is 0.91 Ghz. The reported speed is always this number; or more or less quickly. The system is 1,60 Ghz with 6 GB of memory.

How can I get the full speed? The system is a logical core 4 core 8 but seems rather slow given the technology.

I don't see anything that deals with the speed in the BIOS.

The same question was seen in Windows 7 Pro as well as the current Windows 10 Pro. It is a 64-bit system. The operating system has always been 64-bit with all updates applied.

    The BIOS is also common.

    Thank you

This one was a beauty to solve. It turns out that the power adapter is a failure.

When only on the battery, the system reports 1.60 Ghz as built. When plugged 0.91 Ghz.

During all my previous tests and research, I've had the laptop plugged in. When I accidentally unplugged the power cord while the frequency of the processor test was normal.

Control of the output voltage has shown less than 16 DC if the system has been forced into power saving mode. Unplugged, it ran on the full of 14.4 DC battery voltage. So he was fed properly.

Thanks for the help but it wasn't software, BIOS, or configuration problems. It was a curiously sneeky problem.

    Enjoy
