  I have a HP Laser Jet 1320. It is old but works perfectly. At least he did with my Apple PowerBook G4.

  Now, I have a MacBook Pro with Panther.

  The MacBook Pro "is" not the operating system in the Laser Jet 1320.

  By your statement your new Macbook pro has Mac OS X 10.3 (Panther), which does not seems reasonable as Panther support only the PowerPC proccessors so that all the latest Mac computers use only Intel proccessors.

  Please click on the Apple icon, then click on about this Mac.

  What is the version number listed? (I guess Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion))

  For the Lion, the software provided by Apple Software Update, however please specify first the version of the OS, so I will be able to provide you with the exact according to steps.

• Laser Jet 2100 PCL with Windows 7 (x 64)

  Recently, I pulled out my old XP machine to a new one running 64-bit Windows 7.  My old PCL6 Laser Jet 2100 always worked fine on XP but I can't get anything to print on the new machine.  When I plugged it in the Win 7 box it installed in a minute or two and said all was ready.  When I sent a test page to him, it showed print but nothing happened.  The printer displays printer status is ready, but nothing happens.

  I use a cable GB adapter cable to the parallel port on the printer to a USB port, same as I did on the XP box.  Do I need a newer cable?  Is it possible to make my old workhorse 2100 printing in Win 7 box?

  Thanks for the tips. I'll get print mac th article. Problem solved now after 90 minutes with technical assistance. Had to remove all the files from HP and then reinstall and then remove and add the device again.

  I use a HP Laser Jet Pro M251 with Mac OS more recent Sierra 10.12. I tried to print a document in color from Excel and others a good percentage of the document should be printed in green. Instead of green, a very light, in some cases the struggles of the naked eye to see light YTYPE prints instead of GREEN. I then ran a test of the printer color page of the utility application of HP and there is no green anywhere on the page.

  All of my cartridges are 80% full or higher and I use the same newspaper, I am using since I bought the printer a few years ago. Indeed, nothing in my usual routine (for example all consumables and accessories) has changed. So, for the most part, my printer is not good for color printing.

  If anyone has had this problem and, more importantly, knows how to fix? I don't want to buy a new printer, but if I do, and if this problem is not easily corrected, I will not buy another HP. I'll check Consumer Reports to get advice on a new laser printer. I really liked this good printer and have, until today, thought it was an absolutely fantastic printer.

  Just a tip, I discovered the problem. It turns out that the Cyan cartridge was not good.

  Based on the model you have listed it looks like you are looking for a parallel cable to print. Places like cables to go has a great selection available. There are tons of places to buy online if: newegg/tigerdirect/bestbuy etc. If you are not comfortable online shopping almost any computer in your local supply store should have them. I even saw them floating around places like walgreens and Wal-Mart in my area. I hope that helps!

  I noticed your post about how you can't scan with your MFP HP Laserjet Pro 177fw on your Mac. And I'm happy to discuss this issue scan for you!

  To confirm that the hardware of the printer is functional, you are able to make a copy with the glass of the scanner of the printer?

  To copy:

  1. load the document on the scanner glass according to the indicators on the product.

  2. close the scanner.

  3. on the product control panel, press the button number of Copies.

  4. Select the number of copies.

  5. press the black start copy button or the button color launch copy to start copying.

  Let me know if it works, or if you see another error message.

  I looked in the paper that you are connected.  The series P4010 mentioned refers to the P4014, P4015 I mentioned above.  It seems that the paper tray is also compatible with the P4510 series which is an improved version of the model P4010.  The P4515 is referenced by instructions P4510 printer.

  So far, these are printers only 3 that I found using this paper tray, however.

• Printer HP Laser Jet 1020 just stopped working. Maybe something to do with the spooler starts do not.

  My printer was working fine yesterday for about half of the day, then all suddenly it just stopped working. After hours of trying to understand this point, I think it may have something to do with the spooler printer not stay and "started"... Tips for troubleshooting or ideas would be appreciated!

  I was watching a few just referb cartridges today.  I had two in my hand and spoke to another technician who said that society referb clean very important he should which is deep inside.  I tried to google your exact cartridge to make sure that I was looking at a similar to yours and I couldn't not all the images out of the box, so I'll just describe what I saw and can let me know if yours does not:

  So I had this little 'flap' on the bottom of the toner cartridge and when I pull it slightly back and forth, I see the drum.  It is what can be easily replaced (by buying a new toner) If you see what looks like one white line - in other words damaged.  By just trying a new or used cartridge, you can solve the problem.  Although the referb may have a new drum in there, we're components deeper inside, which could cause problems like that, but to answer your question directly... eh, I doubt it, but you get about 60/40 chance of getting a good or bad toner when you get a refurbished.

  Research on the age of your printer, it's probably just some general maintenance reason so if you get a new toner and you you have the line again, look at my link and in this list, you will see a merger that's going to be the next thing I would check.  Pretty easy to change I guess.  I hope that answers your question.

  I am the owner of a color Laser Jet MFP M277dw Pro. I get updates almost every week, and the software update is very strange. I'm clicking on the update system, it takes a lot of time to meet up with the text saying I'll remove the actual update or add another device. When I say no, thanks, I'll get a message saying that my update was successful (but only if I have to cancel this message). I don't understand why I have to go through this illogical question. Also, I don't understand why it is not necessary to update very frequently, especially when there is no explanation of the reason why.
