HP Laserjet 1018 alert on the Support Site

When looking for an update of drivers for our desktop printers, I noticed that there was an alert on 1018 printers. I searched and none could find whatever it is, also called HP and they weren't able to tell me anything about this apart from the fact that it is therefore more a printer sold.

on the right side it says alerts for this printer.  Can someone help me? and tell me what about the alert?

The alert is just to let you know about the new forums, they begin to appear on the website here and there for some printer models.

    I've been looking at laptops for the coming school year, and I really think I want to get a Y550. Newegg.com has a model decently price with very good specifications and a dedicated GPU, I need because I specialize in programming video games at my school.   • SystemUpdate updates incompatible with the Support Site

    ThinkVantage SystemUpdate (and also companion of Lenovo) don't show updates that are listed on the Lenovo support site for my model (X1Yoga).  I can already see the inconsistancies between companion and SystemUpdate (BIOS/Intel drivers only on SU for example).  I'm not sure one to use.  Now I see things on the support site that are not available in a tools lenovo.  for example:

    Intel PRO/100 LAN Adapter (added on 17/04/2016)

    Lenovo battery indicator (added on 24/03/2016)

    I have older versions of these installed, but they do not appear in the tools.  I can't to go line by line on the support site now.  Is this a problem with this machine somehow or it's just the way things work?

    Lenovo publishes drivers/updates on the support page.

    These items are distributed to trials by the people of update of the quality system.  Su people must build SU .xml package "wrappers" to take care of these updates.  It takes 30 days.

    Companion seems to offer only the CRITICAL updates.

    For some drivers, the seller has the most recent updates, that is, Intel, Nvidia, Realtek or even windows update.

    It is up to you to decide if you want to be more up-to-date using the support page.  Normally, if it is not broken, do not fix.   If you encounter a problem with the software, read the release notes and decide if you want to use drivers support page.

    If your Yoga is a new purchase, and that you have done the installation of the plant, you would be more behind in updates, as the installation of the factory was built months ago.

    Some catalogs are inaccurate, but have been corrected.

    In a few years, a new model Ideapad gets out, perhaps with win11.  At this point, your support (current) page will not be updated as well.   Enjoy your Yoga.

    (1) how to check if the writer firmware is up to date

    (2) what accelerates, he worked for various media

  • Drivers for Compaq nc 6000 are missing on the Support Site

    I am getting up an old laptop and running.  It's a nc6000 running XP Pro I have validated by phone.

    The problem is that I can't connect to the internet.  There is a list of missing drivers such as an Ethernet controller in Device Manager.

    I tried to download them by visiting the HP support site, and although there is a page of drivers dedicated to the nc6000 running XP Pro every time I click on 'Download' it says 'Page cannot be displayed ".   I tried IE, Firefox and Chrome, but the same error message appears.

    Will you please help me find the necessary drivers, so I can connect to the internet or through LAN or WLAN network.

    I have a Pavilion dv7 (3024ca) and the update of the BIOS on the site of suport seems old enough. y at - it somewhere else for all the drivers and other updates that are on the support Web site?

    Especially the BIOS updates would be available to improve the startup time, to solve compatibility problems and improve overall performance. There is no problem identified after February 23, 2010, thanks to which you don't see BIOS updates for your model.

  • How to install OS 10.9.0? Only the updates seem to be on the support site.

    I installed a new SSD in my aging MacBook Pro. I have a double of the previous 1 TB internal drive, which is located in an external enclosure. I want this system and user applications on the inside. Assistant Migration wasn't going to do anything when the internal drive was simply formatted.

    So, it seems to me that I have to install 10.9 on the internal drive. It is currently running 10.8.5.

    If you already have the Mavericks from the Mac App Store, log in to the Mac App Store with the same Apple ID and download from the purchases tab. If not, go to a physical Apple store and ask him or set level instead of El Capitan.

    The Satellite L500 PSLJ0E is a series of European for Toshiba laptop.
    I found the drivers for this series on the European driver Toshiba page
    I put t know why Tempro or a Service Station can not find it, but I could find it.
    The number of PSLJ0E is the first number in the list.

    To be honest; I did not upgrade to update all drivers if everything works properly.
    I'm always that notice; never change a running system. and guess what? This is the best advice I've ever heard... ;)
