  As the line object suggests, I have a HP OMEN K5C63PA #ABG I received late November last year.

  I think it's maybe just out of warranty, but I could not send it back in for repairs so far that I was in the United Kingdom for the whole of November and early December for the work. The issue arose before my trip abroad.

  My screen has become loose and moves to about a half inch when standing, there also a snap/rattling noise when you move or you close the lid. Not really what expected me after what is 12 months only for a laptop computer to $4000.

  Can someone please contact me to discuss the options available to the general public.

  I made the mistake of buying a Windows 8 machine which does not reliably connect to the internet. I see connections and you connect to them but just have 'limited' connectivity and can't get online.

  However my product number does not seem to relate to any kind of laptop dv6 envy. Indeed, a Google search for this product number showed a result. There is nothing about this issue of product on HP - great, great job guys!

  My laptop failed to update graphics card. I have tried reintalling and installation of different ways a few times with no success. I tried a roll on the last good parameter twice in a row, and since then it has gone from bad to worse.  Now once the computer has windows 7, I get the BSOD.   If you want to reload the operating system, here are some options.

  1. you can order a set of replacement recovery disks using the link below - it will reinstall the operating system, all the drivers, and almost all of the original software (the exception being often tests of MS Office).  They also recreate the original scores, including the recovery Partition - the cost varies a bit depending on where you live, but they are generally inexpensive.

  Order HP recovery disks.

  2 another option that you might consider is to create your own Windows 7 installation disc 'detail '.

  Before you try the following, make sure that you can always read the character product activation key 25 on your label Windows COA (5 blocks of 5 alphanumeric games).

  An example of a COA label can be seen here.

  You can create a Windows 7 installation disc yourself using another PC - just download the Disk Image correct ( this must be the same version that originally came with your laptop - it is listed as Windows 7 Home Premium 64 - bit ) from the link below and use an app like ImgBurn ( Note: you can deselect additional software during installation of ImgBurn offerings) to burn the ISO correctly on a blank DVD - a guide on the use of ImgBurn to write that an ISO on a disc is here.  The source of the Windows Image is Digital River.

  Last week, I reinstalled windows on my laptop and now HP SimplePass does not work. I tried to use v6.x and when I tried to configure to use a fingerprint to open a windows session, he said that my password does not correspond to (I made sure that I typed in correctly). I've updated to v8.01.11 and I get even an option to use a fingerprint under a windows log in. I tried to uninstall/reinstall simplepass and drivers of fingerprint readers, nothing helps. According to windows validity sensor is not available, but it manifests itself and the drivers are up to date.

  Oops, I thought I had drivers up to date sensor, but when I installed the HP Support Assistant he told me otherwise. After installing the drivers, it is now working very well.

  Try removing the Device Manager. Right click and delete. Reboot and it should install. Wait to see what the company makes the device wireless in Device Manager. We may be able to find an updated driver. Must be something like Broadcom, Lite-on. etc.

  If it is a new desktop PC I suggest contacting HP Customer Service service under warranty. A ligthscribe drive is a replaceable warranty item.

  I guess that the lockout is due to connection failures...  You should be able to use standard Windows management tools to trace it.    You will need to market "Audit logon events" for the system log record these events can be displayed in newspaper the Security window.  Then, you can use Event Viewer to examine the papers.  To activate "Audit logon events", follow the procedure described in the article except instead of click "audit access to the", click on "Audit logon events" instead.
