• Unit's network communication problems

  I developed a demo using unity's c#. Client to connect to the server and to send information, and I tested it on windows Pc (start two app, one is server, another is client), and it works very well.

  But when I use my z10 to test (app on windows as a client), app on z10 as server, I can connect but I can not send information.

  When I use the z10 as a app on windows as a client server, it cannot connect.

  How can I solve this? What is the problem of my code or the problem of bb10 os.

  You can reduce hardware acceleration and check if the problem persists:

  1. right click on the desktop and choose personalize.

  2. click on display settings.

  3. in the display settings window, click on advanced settings.

  4. display the Troubleshooting tab.

  5. click on change settings.

  6 reduce hardware acceleration.

  No worries, go to the start screen and find the Green store icon.  When you open it will let you know if the update is available.

  I have the Master Collection 5.5 and Premiere Pro decided to not start (it was fine last time I used it about 6 months ago). The start screen appears for about 2 seconds and then the message 'first Pro CS5.5 has stopped working. A problem caused blocking the program works correctly etc.

  I uninstalled Premiere Pro and re-installed from disc, but I experienced the same problem I uninstalled now again. I am aware that the disks are old enough now, and I wonder if I need to download a newer version. I found a few downloadable update files, but I didn't know what version I have to select (there are a number of version numbers, and some say that for electronic downloads) or if I need to reinstall from my records to get the update, or if updates are stand-alone programs.

  Can someone point me in the right direction to get this issue sorted?

  Another solution would be to change the CC, but I do not see the options to do this, the upgrade of my 5.5 Master Collection - and I can't see how to contact Adobe...

  Hi Pete,.

  I had a conversation with them, and they said that they did not support the CS applications and showed me the forums!

  In fact, not correct. We support CS6 installation problems, just not all versions before that. Sorry, CS5.5 is a suite of older applications and we cannot provide tech support 1-1 for every piece of software ever designed. Finally, this type of support tends to move to the forums. My apologies for your inconvenience.

  You have not quite a mysterious issue going on, however. You say it worked fine before, but now it does not work. I suspect a hardware conflict, probably a video driver. You can return to an earlier version of the driver to see if that will help?

• FF 40 for Linux. Blank white page without control. Own profile fixed but causes blocks colored instead of the text in the address bar.

  Because the update to 40 FF lance a blank white screen with no controls, no toolbar or address bar. I can create a new profile in the Profile Manager and then launch firefox functional but a previous bug still exists, the text in the address bar is replaced by blocks of solid colors. The only solution I know because this is: config > gfx.xrender > toggle true to false, but on the relaunch firefox returns the white screen.

  I found my own solution to the problem, which was caused by the incompatibility of the 40 FF with the Lubuntu versoin I used 14:04, so I've updated at 15:04 and FF still works, though only after the creation of another new profile.

  Although this isn't in itself a problem with Mozilla Firefox, you may be able to get access to blocked sites thorugh the use of software (or Mozilla add-on) that will allow you to access a site through a proxy, or by the use of a virtual private network.

  However, please consider reading the terms of use of the network of the University (or similar document).

  It is likely that you are not allowed to use any proxy or virtual private network on the University network. If you do, you may lose your account you are unable to access the network at all!

  So, it's up to you. There are also Web sites that provides a form of proxy service where you simply go to the site and enter the URL of the site you want to access.

  But, as I said: you could be prohibited from using the network if you do not follow the rules, so please be careful and know what you can and can't do using the University network.

  All day I was hitting my head with variable communication shared between RT host and the host computer:

  I had read the content above a 100 times, but still I'm not able to get a clear picture of the difference and when to use which option. So I decided to take the text and tried to try something for me.

  I had a loop in the reception of RT who writes arrays of 3 different elements in the 'network published variable shared'. Now when I use the option of multi element with "number of berries as - 2" I am able to read tables separates one by one in the host computer (as you can read a queue in general).

  Now when I used the option of single element for the RT FIFO with 1 UN editable table option, only the last table written in the 'shared variable published network' is read in the host computer.

  This seems absolutely ridiculous as if this is the case, then what is the purpose of creating the "buffer". For testing purposes, I had put the buffer in 5 tables.

  In fact, I have only a single author (written in loop in the reception of RT) and a reader (new looping in the host computer). So I don't know even if I need option of the RT FIFO for the published network shared variable.

  I'm sorry for the long message but I've reached the limits of going around in circles waiting to type somewhere

• Serial communication cause the crash of LabView

  Hello

  I'm set to do a serial with Labview. The problem is that the program always crash (no popup error but only LabView don't freeze) when I read or write with VISA.

  I work with a module converter (ADAM 4571) that convert Ethernet to RS-232/422/485. The module is mapped to the computer and the similar work as a COM port. I tested the connection with the Terminal windows and its work. This means that it is not a hardware problem.

  I did the same communication a few weeks with the same material and did not have a problem. I don't understand why it does not work now.

  I give my code as an attachment, but it is not something special except for the block that buffered (which is required for my module), but if I remove it the problem persists.

  Does anyone have an idea what can be the problem?

  OK, I solved the problem.

  The version of the driver for the converter module mapping was not exactly right, now I change it and its work.

  As you can see TimeOutThread and HttpHelper inherit both Thread, so that they can be called outside the main flow of execution.  Two of them also receive the current as a delegate object screen, so that I can execute methods later on the screen. in this case timeout executes the following function.

  The timeout method is called sucessfully... even the waitScreen is poppedOut with success and the last screen is shown. But the user interface crashes right now... it is like the HttpThread I got runs always block the user interface... I know, because when the network thread times out... the user interface is responsive again. What I am doing wrong?

  You do not use your son as separate threads - instead, plan you on the event Thread run() methods (this is what invokeLater). The right way is to use their start() methods to start two threads separately. So, replace your

  UiApplication.getUiApplication().invokeLater(timeOut);
  

  with

  timeOut.start();
  

  and do the same with your thread for assistance.
