  Generally, if the driver or the software is not installed, you should see an unknown device, but as I understand your message, even this unknown device is not visible.

  What to say try upgrading the BIOS, I read somewhere in the forum that the BIOS update can be useful in such a situation.
  If this is not enough, try the new OS installation (recovery of the laptop) and check if the webcam seems once again

• WALKMAN NWZ-S545 gives error cannot start (error 10) device in the Device Manager (and not driver for this device found)

  Under Xp (sp3), Device Manager gives me an error for a Walkman NWZ-S545.  XP sees it as a MTP device, but it does not start.  The Device Manager will give me 2 error messages: device will not start (code 10) not and no driver not found for this device.  The walkman works very well with my other machines on the LAN XP but naturally one that I run my media (a all my MP3 etc.) is the one that has the error.  All of my PC are almost identical (with the exception of the server, duh).  I changed USB ports, uninstalled/reinstalled drivers, called SONY to dozens of times, nothing works.  Is a service not started that must be, a driver damaged, what?  Thanks for your help in advance.

  Have you checked in the Device Manager for the yellow or red flags on the USB controllers? If found, remove items and restart.

  If this isn't in the network adapters, and you have no error in Device Manager or device disabled under network adapters, then that would be the case.

  Your PC should be able to support the NVIDIA GTX 750.  Generally the NVIDIA GTX 750 with a few exceptions only requires a 300 Watt power supply.

  HP 460 watt power supply has a PCI-E power connector 6 pin.

None of the buttons on the printer works.  I unplug the printer and plug it in again.  After the printer through its controls, I can print.  Leave it for a few minutes and try printing again and everything I do is fill in the print queue.  Given that I can run through the following steps, which is not a good solution for me.  I don't know if the hardware is the problem or the software.  I've dealt with this for weeks and I hope that all you talented people out there can help me.  Should I throw this printer and get a new one?  Thank you

  I have a desktop computer that I use with a wired ethernet connection and a laptop in which I use a wireless connection.

  I currently have my officejet put in place through the infrastructure on my wireless and usb on my desk.

  My question is if it is possible to use the printer in ad-hoc mode on my desk while keeping my connection wireless infrastructure through my laptop?

  I don't want to go wireless on my desk, but here the convenience to replace my long 15' usb cord with a Wi - Fi connection on the desktop.

  It seems that I can use the printer in ad-hoc mode by default but I don't think I can use ad hoc mode while using my laptop for internet usage. I guess it's either one or the other.

  It seems that the wireless officejet cannot use EITHER an ad-hoc connection at a time given the value or the infrastructure, but not BOTH at the same time that would allow me to use the printer in ad-hoc mode on my desk with my wired connection using the printer with connection infrastructure of my laptop.

  The printer can connect to a network Ad - hoc or infrastructure. It cannot be connected to both networks at the same time.

  However, if the desktop computer, laptop computer and the printer are connected to the same router; the printer can be installed wireless desktop too (Infrastructure mode).

  I have a HP OfficeJet Pro 8500 has 910 with the option second paper tray. I want to use paper in the tray 2 and Tray 1 A4 envelopes DL, but the form of printer properties, device settings, to tray assignment goes back to the letter for printer Auto Select and the two plates. Printer properties lists also available as paper only "letter".

  I use Windows 7 64 - bit Winda Premium SP1.

  Usually, I do all the settings by software: I don't think the use of physics on the printer control panel. On your advice, I looked there the configuration preferences. Default tray was fixed at 2, so that did not help.

  But I don't change the country/region of the United States to the United Kingdom; and I also put Tray Lock on tray 1 which according to me, means he will only use tray 1 when I choose that it in the print dialog box.

  I don't know how this has changed things, but now I find that I can make the settings in the Windows printer properties, and he remembers that Tray 1 has envelopes DL and tray 2 has A4, which is what I wanted.

  It worked finally.

  Why doesn't HP have updated the drivers for a Macbook Pro 10.6.8 Snow Leopard?  I couldn't find one for 10.5 or 10.6 Leopard.  I tried everything I could find. I found a note on the edge of Disussion which suggested someone try a driver for another HP printer may be similar.  I found if I used the full program for Macbook Pro 10.6 Leopard I could scan.  The fax appeared to be installed via blue tooth.  I have not faxed anything, but it has been tested during the installation of the program.  Complete program of the HP I can't print.  I loaded via Apple an another whick of printer HP Officejet 8500 A910 allows me to print.  It is the only way that I could make use of my HP printer, scanner and fax.  Crazy, but I think it works and I can put some scans and, hopefully, fax to my Macbook Pro.  I appreciate the help.  Please encourage the HP programs and drivers for my Macbook Pro Snow Leopard 10.6.8.
