• HP Omni 200 PC: Computer configured for HD TV as a second monitor

  I am trying to use my HD TV as a second monitor set up my TV.  My goal is to watch movies from my PC to the TV.  The Omni 200 does not have VGA or HDMI connections.  So I tried to use a 3 USB to HDMI adapter with a long (25') HDMI Cable that I connected to one of the HDMI ports on the TV for my video output.  When I tried to detect the TV as a second monitor, I got a blue screen stating my PC was a dump of data and downtime.  Maybe it's that HDMI cards drivers were not really designed to win 10.  actually, the box said it was for Win 7, 8 and Vista, but the provider told me it would work to win 10.  They insured, in fact I got the driver for Win 10 that I installed, but with my PC crashed anyway.

  I'm now considering a 3 USB to VGA instead - and using a long VGA cable to connect to my PC - it has a female connector VGA built in my opinion this solution would work.  And I would use a divider audio stereo 3.5 mm cable to connect a left and right RCA audio cable to the TV.

  Someone has an opinion on the question of whether I'd be successful before I buy these cables?  Thank you. Dan

  According to the Specifications of the motherboard , there are 2 - USB 2.0 and 1.0 on your computer 5 - USB ports.  Here is a video card that can allow you to connect to your TV.  I suggest you contact the manufacturer's Technical Support to make sure it works before buy you.  This will save send back if this does not work.  I do it myself before you buy all new components.  Therefore, it is difficult to know what works today.  Technology changes so quickly.

  Finally, the DVD on my HP Omni 200-5400 CTO Desktop PC drive is on and off since sometimes, now it's stop working completely. It will even appear in the BIOS.

  This computer accepts 2 versions.  One with lightscribe 537385-004 and without lightscribe 537385-800.

  The two replacements come without the bezel.

  Installation memory PC3-1600 does not accelerate memory, being the fastest, it can be run to 1066 MHz.

  Even the 1333 MHz memory only runs at 1066 MHz, which is the highest speed of the processor.

  I can tell you that memory installation in any PC HP that has a series 5 including your Intel chipset (and uses the memory of the laptop) is very difficult to upgrade.

  I suggest that you read this post and one that I've referenced in this post to make sure that you get good memory or it won't work.

  What version of Windows are you using?

  Start > right click on computer and select Manage

  Select Device Manager

  Click on the + next to sound, video and game controllers

  Right-click on the driver and select uninstall

  Restart the computer and Windows will reload the driver

  Sometimes, the driver may be for different version of windows. I've seen vista driver install correctly in Windows XP, but not sound. Either that, sometimes, it is the OEM driver provided by the manufacturer of the chipset/soundchip but differ from the provision of a Board. Maybe the manufacturer Council put in place a special design, so the OEM driver will not work. Other than that, it could also be the version with another driver conflict. Say your sound card driver is the oldest, but you have updated your driver chipset for a newer version since your last installation. The old sound card driver may not compatible with the new chipset driver and so on.

  Try to download a set of drivers for your system, this way you don't know that all your driver is up to date.

  Just because a media file plays in Windows Media Player
  does not ensure that it is compatible with Movie Maker.

  In fact... Movie Maker has problems with MP3 files... better
  bet would be to convert the files to the .wma format before
  import into Movie Maker.

  The following freeware program can perform the conversion:

When the upgrade has been faced with the problem of replacing the video card in the NVIDIA Quadro K1100M according to the standard that is being adapted, are there solutions? When activated, NVIDIA Quadro K1100M display does not respond and the device emits 2 short and 1 long tone. Tried to find a new BIOS, but to no avail. Can tell me how to fix it or an alternative graphics appropriate performance of the card, as all other modules have improved. Intel Core i5-760 2.8 GHz, 6 GB ddr3 Samsung 840 EVO SSD.

  That the Forums are with you!  It's a good place to find the help you need, other users, HP experts and other support staff.  I understand that you are looking for assistance regarding an update of the graphics card.  I'm happy to help you with this.

  When I looked up your model, I found that it is incomplete. This model has many regional versions; can you please put the PostScript of the 2 letter to the model number, so I can be sure I'm looking at the right one?  Sometimes, which can make a difference to what is installed in the unit even if a common variation will be the wireless adapter, due the differeneces in laws for communications wireless in different countries.

  Please let me know when you can.

• T440s Windows 10 Realtek Audio reboot loop

  Have downloaded the latest driver audio realtek 10 Windows on lenovo and site when you install the driver that there is a message like

  "the driver installation is a process of the 2 step, 1) uninstall the current driver and restart 2) installation of the new driver.

  The works of uninstall and reboot happens, but after that start again the new driver won't install-, instead, the exact same window appears on uninstallation, to an endless reboot loop.

  All the patches?

  OK I seem to have installed now.

  Two drivers are available for download on the page drivers lenovo, I installed the one older followed by the most recent and that worked.
