• Alternating gradient line question

  The graphic software does not exactly how you might think. its better if you set the position of the object separately. so in your case its work, its all just do not pass the drawing for you. Good luck!

  SAL, I'm sorry that I did not take your post earlier, but I didn't know before tonight.

  I know nothing of PSU Ace.  However, given that the PSU is the backbone of the computer, it is not the place to save money.  I'd go with Corsair, OCZ, Coolermaster, Thermaltake, or Antec in that order.  I recommend at least 500W as I said in my previous post; more if you can afford it.  Be sure to measure the current PSU and compare the measurements to the one you choose.  I repeat my suggestions, but they are crucial.  Corsair POWER supply in the link is a bit expensive, but it will give you more choices for video cards.

  Now, let's talk about the video card.  While the PSU is the backbone of the computer, the video card should be powerful enough to run two monitors and easily manage games.  It may be difficult to meet these requirements and stay within your budget.  That being said, here is a card that should meet your requirements for the two monitors, but may not be as good for games.  It requires a minimum of 450W to work properly.

  If I'm not mistaken, the card you are trying to install is PCIe 2.1.

  Your PC was introduced in October 2005.

  This means that the slot is PCIe 1. 0 a, or at best, PCIe 1.1.

  For some reason, PCIe 2.1 cards have a hit or miss work history with these old version PCIe connectors.

  So that this card has a very high probability of working, you would have a PCIe 2.0 on the motherboard slot.

  There are no patches or updates to BIOS to change the version of the crack.

  My recommendation would be to return the card and get a powerful high 2.0 PCIe card of your choice.

  PCIe 2.0 video cards have a high success rate to work with a slot PCIe 1.1 or 1. 0a.

  Yes, it is possible.  You will also need to change the radiator fan, since the Intel is not the nVidia board and vice versa.

• Diamond Ray Style Graphic / Starburst Gradient

  I love the graphic style "Diamond Ray" included with CS5, which seems to be based on some sort of starburst gradient.  Very similar gradients seem part of the jewels in the library symbols Heirloom, with several rays of color, radiating from a central point.

  However, I do not know how to use this effect to create my own variations and would appreciate pointers.  I have several books, including "Real World" and "WOW!", but also Classroom In A Book, but they seem to simply discuss linear and radient gradients or mesh gradients, which do not seem to directly reach what I want...

  What I really want to do, is to create my own library of more complex graphic styles with these degraded varients.  Can I turn somehow a gradient in a gradient mesh?  It stretches several radial gradients with gradient Annotator, copy, rotate, etc. and then merge them together for a rehearsal, which can then be converted to a graphic style?  NET gradient model of style?

  A graphic Style is just a stack of appearances. To understand a graphic Style, it applies only to an object, and then look at the appearance Palette. Modify the any of the apparitions to your liking and then drag the object in the graphic Styles palette to store your modified version.

  I've never built a pc or tinkered with all hardware.  I want to make this even more impressive pc by adding an SSD.  I think I can install an SSD without any problem (I want the Samsung 849 EVO Mz-7TE1T0BW 2.5 "1 TB SSD)... Oops... I just thought of something... 4 TB SATA is actually 4 2 TB SATAs, put in place with 2 as the mirror...  I think that there are only 4 connectors for extension for SSD/HDD... Is this correct?  I have to replace one of the SATAs 2 TB with the 1 TB SSD?  What configuration I would define then the three SATAs 2 TB?  Would it be to say that he would have only 1 TB SATA? Could I set up so that it has SATA 1.5 TB (with SATAs split with half active and part of the half of the mirror for a RAID configuration)?  Furthermore, I have really no idea what RAID is or fact, just that you only half of total storage really active and the second half is as a backup in case of failure of a disk or something to avoid any data loss total... It is also the thing that I'm confused about that I don't know if it is also possible to install two graphics cards of Titan in SLI configuration on the micro ATX motherboard, I guess its Alienware Aurora will be, and still less 1 Titan.  Yes I know it is exaggeration lol, but the game is very important for us, especially since this is how we met.

  Personally, I'd keep just 780 - SLI, since the two configs end up being very similar to the performance. Either they're going run hot (in the game of max.).

  the 2009 mac 4.1 pro can be upgraded to a number of current spare cards from Nvidia and AMD, but in many cases the cards require custom flashing of the Distributor and custom drivers. You need to buy a card with a distributor of mac because versions "Windows" of these cards will not work out of the box and OS X will not support without 3rd party drivers. This procedure is not recommended by apple that would rather you buy a new mac pro and again I want to say something for $5K, which offers the latest GPU is already 3 years old.

  Hello useful community! A two-part question.

  I'm just getting started on the video production and have some needs in mind. I hope you can let me know if FCPX can do that hopefully, if there is an obvious solution, I am missing, or some of you approach use.

  I'll be doing a few videos of interview style and will have several camera angles, with that I need to work. So if I understand correctly to work with iMovie, I'll have a main video timeline and then 'cut' in and out secondary structures for the other angles. But I must have a logo sitting in the corner as well. Is there still enough chronologies to cut in different camera angles while having a timeline showing the stationary chart? iMovie does not you have only your primary and another calendar cut in and out, but I hope that FCPX has the ability to overlay 2 more than at a time? Or maybe I'm going about this the wrong way need?

  The second part is linked, I want to be the logo/text animation because it is (as a brief introduction). Not throughout the entire video or something extremely complex, but to animate shapes and text sliding in such that the name of the speaker, the name of show graphics, etc... And I'm hoping to create my own custom animations, not the familiar "motions of text" located in iMovie. I feel like the examples I found online that all look like they have animations the same model and I hope for much more creative in this area occasionally, if that makes sense. In its most simple example I guess, the design and animation capabilities/techniques you can do in Keynote for graphics/text that can be market timed, fades, slides, etc.

  Is FCPX the right program to incorporate more complex forms of text animations as well? Or is it the work of another software?

• iMac 27 2010 graphics card / ram problem

  Hello - read through the form and try to isolate the problem.  A week ago my end 2010 iMac 27 I7, 12 GB of Crucial Ram, OSX Yosemite went screwy - icons went fuzzy, and the system has just stopped responding. I tried not just pull the plug, but the computer was out of order, so I had to pull the plug. Please keep in mind it was a day hot here in New York and I've come for a quick moment to remove some files and did not close the windows a turn on the AC, so they probably overheated system or so I guess

  Anyway, after a few hours and I came back home and turned back on the iMac. Immediately, I noticed some pale red bans on the screen. The system has been restarted slowly and then it stop at halfway however and just go to the gray screen. I did a reboot, re-installed the operating system made the system check, but the failure of operating system to kick when I do a normal restart, and I am only able to operate the computer in Mode safe.

  Is there a way I can understand if the RAM is the question, the graphics card, or if it's the OS? A faulty graphics card will prevent the system from starting normally? I have the same question when I open it on safe mode?

  I'm trying to see if there is a way to save the iMac and get more use out of it, but at the same time a few years if it's gong to fix an expensive that I can't do on my own, so maybe its not worth what's now 5-6yrld of fixing iMac little matter how the computer cost me back in 2010.

  One way to test is to boot from the HD, (now shift key at startup), run utility disk in Applications > utilities, then highlight your reader, click on repair permissions, test for problem in Mode safe...
