  Hello! I used the IDT Audio CODEC for Windows 7/8 for a while, but a few days ago I accidentally uninstalled the Audio driver. I searched the internet for the suitable driver for my laptop, but the audio driver listed here package seems to be broken. After downloading the package and extraction, she seems to contain the Realtek Ethernet Controller Driver (must be contained in a sp61713) instead of the Driver Audio IDT.   EDIT: I tried system restore already, but it did not work. He showed that the restore was successful, but the pilot has the same default Microsoft, which does not help my helmet. At this point, I guess reinstall the appropriate driver is the only option I can think.

  EDIT2: It is certainly not the problem of my helmet; they work very well on other devices. In addition, previously I had downloaded and installed the driver from the HP itself support page, and the old version of sp61716 was indeed the (good) driver to work.

  Try the following.

  Stop of the laptop and leave it like that for 10 seconds.

  Tap here to f11 as soon as you press the power button until you see a message "Windows is loading.

  On the next screen, select your Keyboard Layout and on the next screen, select Troubleshooting.

  Select 'Advanced Options', and then select System Restore.

  Click on yourcurrent system O and then wait as the system restore window opens.

  Choose a restore point 24 hours before you first removed the IDT HD Codec and then proceed to the system restore.

  If you found that the sound was not working after reboot, follow the steps below

  1. download devcon command-line utility, here

  2. extract and copy the file into \i386\devcon.exedevconc:\windows\

  3. do the command line to restart MS - UAA automatically or just download this file

  The command-line as: C:\windows\devcon\i386\devcon.exe restart 'PCI VEN_8086 & DEV_293E & SUBSYS_3607103C & REV_03 '.

  Notes:

  1. the location of devcon.exe is c:\windows\devcon\i386\devcon.exe that if you change it, you must change idt.bat

  2. "PCI VEN_8086 & DEV_293E & SUBSYS_3607103C & REV_03' for MS - UAA hardware ID, if you found in another name change.

  3. place idt.bat in c:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Menu Menu\Programs\Startup

  4. the sound will restore within 6 to 10 seconds, because is NOT startup sound XP

• Audio crash - IDT HD audio driver problem?

  Audio crashes when you use it (going to basically just silent), even after the Reinstall driver (IDT HD Audio Driver). When restarting the PC, audio will work temporarily, and then down very quickly if there are several Chrome tablets with audio and also crashed by using only a single media player (Spotify). I have not received the error messages.  When this happens, I am also unable to change the level of average volume point-and-click and keyboard shortcuts.  I use a HP Envy laptop with 64-bit Windows 8.1

  Through recommendations in previous posts, I had gone before my assignment. The diagnosis did not find any problems. Headphones also did not work. Volume settings and the speaker are correct. And re - install the driver did not work.

  I did, however, decide to download and install certain optional Windows updates.  I use HP Support Assistant for automatic updates, but had not checked the optional updates in a few months (I think there are 4 available).  During these updates and reboot several times, the problem seems to be solved.

  Try to use Recovery Manager to reinstall your original IDT HD Audio Driver - the procedure to use the Recovery Manager to reinstall the drivers and software is detailed in the document at the link below.

  Recovery Manager - Windows Vista

  After reinstalling, stop the laptop.  Disconnect the power adapter and remove the battery.  Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.  Reinsert the battery and plug in the AC adapter.

  Robinet tap away at the key esc that you start the computer to launch the Start Menu, and then select f10 to open the bios menu.  Press f5 to load the default values (sometimes it's f9, but the menu below indicates the correct key), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press ENTER.  Press f10 to save the setting and still use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press on enter.

  Let windows take over completely for a few minutes and then check if your audio works.

  IDT HD Audio driver sp65138 driverpack install properly of SCCM with the task sequence. The speaker in the taskbar icon has a red x and says "no audio device is installed". Device Manager seems ok until you get in the properties for IDT that doesn't say 'no driver installed for this device. If I choose 'update driver' and 'search automatically' driver installs ok. What can we do to make the driver work early?  Operating system is Win 7 SP1 of Ent.

  I know that DELL is not 'responsible' for provide a XP driver, which is to IDT.

  However, someone at DELL R & D or Technical Support can try and bump this question in an attempt to find out if a DRIVER AUDIO XP exists and can be made available (as IDT refuses to deal directly with the world) users of DELL who insist on always under XP?

  Also, if someone on the forum sometimes to learn/download/see-TI-listed a share /, news of a XP IDT 92HD73C1 audio driver for the Studio 1735 would be much appreciated. : smileywink:
