• Pavilion DV9000: Replacing the HARD drive

  A non-techy question, so please bear with me.

  I replaced the parts on my laptop several times, but it's certainly more complicated...

  My old Pavilion DV9000 screen is dead... I can use it plugged into my TV or external monitor.

  I see a number of old DV9 * * for sale on ebay for a lot cheaper then screen would repair on my old DV9000.

  Pilot of the other then a few updates, would it plug-and-play to buy any old DV9 * and exchanging the HARD drive? Or is it more than that? If it's just some driver updates, how close the models do? DV9000 only? DV9330? Dv9700?... etc...

  I just need to make sure that the 'new' computer has the same processor?

• Pavilion DV9000 problems starting

  I have a HP Pavilion DV9000. It worked fine until some time ago when it just stopped working. I had the lid closed, but the computer still running and left him.
