• Slow performance HP Pavilion laptop problems

  Very recently, I bought a laptop HP Pavilion. It has Windows 8 and arrived in the mail, no more than a week ago. The first thing I did after that the mandatory installation process was to restore the files from my old laptop (which broke) via ClickFree (currently I have 625 677 GB free) and once that was completed, I installed several programs (office, Vipre, Photoshop, etc.). Apart from that, I did very little about the real hard disk of the computer, since I save everything externally on my ClickFree.

  Hi all. I am operating Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 1, 32-bit on an HP Pavilion dv6000.

  My problems started about two months ago, when I installed several updates through Windows Update. I started having problems with my USB ports (even if these pilots were not being updated) and the computer was never able to close successfully. I tried to uninstall these updates, but that did not fix the questions I had. I have also installed software (AutoCAD 2007) at the same time and uninstalled, nothing helps.

  Then my computer started to freeze after running for a few minutes.   I don't know Jack about computers, but I don't know that I went through almost exactly the same thing.  My pc was ok, then in a month or two, it took a nose dive.  something I did was too that much could not think of everything.  A friend told me to reset my bios to default settings and see what happens.  After having spent only 7 hours trying to teach myself on bios, I got stabbed in this area and it worked.  Everything is great runnng.  Now I can even right click on icons without crashing.
