HP Pavilion f134ds 17: upgrade memory rm

I need to know how upgrade memory ram for laptop mi I Marvin Dollin know h: to do, please help

You have modules of 2 x 4 GB or 8 GB in total by these specifications:

Plug

This is the service manual for your laptop:

Manual

See p. 104. You CAN install modules of concert up to 2 x 8 for a total of 16 concerts, but if you follow along in the maintenance manual, you will see that the procedure will require removal of the motherboard, a very delicate piece of electronics surgery. If you are a technician experienced laptop, very well. Buy 2 of them:

Module of memory of 8 GB 670034-005

http://www.Amazon.com/addon-SDRAM-memory-module-H2P65AA-AA/DP/B008KFO3CI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&QID=1461616281&SR=8-1&keywords=670034-005

Put aside an hour or two in a quiet place with some free space of horizontal surface and do the upgrade. Otherwise, you have to pay someone to do it. Most of the people cannot benefit from the upgrade from 8 GB to 16, but some can. Therefore, determine if it is worth the serious money and time it will take. We are here to help as much as possible.

    Hi all!

I have a Pavillion DV7-6c05ev. The product number is A8V36EA-B1A.  I'm trying to upgrade memory. On board, there are two modules of 1.5 volt. (2 GB Samsung M471B5773DH0-CH9 and 4 GB Samsung M471B5273DH0-CK0 and they work ofal channel). I am buying a second module M471B5273DH0-CK0, to have 8 GB dual channel.  I ordered a new, but I got a Samsung M471B5173QHO-YK0 instead of CK0. The YKO runs on 1.35 v and 1.5V, but I'm afraid to pair them up, because maybe something could go wrong with tensions. I found another store and ordered again CK0, but again, I received YKO. So now I have two new YKO. What do you think is it safe combine the old with the new KATE CKO (sellers insist that KATE is the replacement of CKO and will work fine on 1.5V, it will automatically choose the correct voltage. And the other question is, as long as I have two YKO, can I use these two as a pair?  There are exactly the same, but it is made in China and one in the Philippines, but I don't think it's a problem. And replace the two old memories? Is the compatible with my model M471B5173QHO-YK0?

(I found another seller with CKO, but I did not want to risk again. From what I understand, they have the old code on their pc, but there is a new, replacement, M471B5173QHO-YK0, and they ship the other. The question is if I can match up with the old CKO and return the second YKO, or keep two YKO and use them with my laptop).

    Thank you in advance.

    Kind regards

    Zeta

No this is essentially the same thing. The 11 first is the latency CASE and the second number is not really speeds, but the SPD versions and then the B4 is just an internal reference to manufacturers for the memory form factor. The computer will see these 2 identical modules.

First of all I'm not a computer expert so the answers in plain English please. Thank you.

I just bought one of these for my daughter for Christmas.

I read that memory is low. It has 32 GB.

First of all what is the best easiest way to upgrade memory (micro sd card)? If so can what bits of information I keep on it?

    Then I upgraded to windows 10. Is a 32-bit or 64-bit system.

    Someone had problems with him?

Finally of office would what version you recommend.

That stick to the machine and shaped into a literate player. Then you can go and change the location of Documents, images, video files in Windows 10.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/redirect-folder-new-location#1TC=Windows-7

Above is Windows 7 but Windows 10 still works the same. Move the files to the SD card, together is the default download location for the browser, etc.

Ask in terms of memory, but you mean that storage. The RAM (sharp) of 2 GB is not extensible. It is an Atom processor but the next generation and it is 64-bit. The Windows installed 10 will be a version 10 of Windows 64-bit edition, not some watered down Michael tablet thing. It can run Office 2016 and if she is a student of her school could have an agreement on this subject, or you can look in the student Office 365, version which is I think that $6 per month or $80 all the in.

  • HP pavilion dv7 1260us: upgrade memory and processor for hp pavilion dv7 1260us

I was wondering if possible to upgrade my memory and processor... hp pavilion dv7 1260us?

    Here are the specs:

    Plug

You have an AMD Turion RM-74 processor and 4 GB of RAM. The RAM is DDR2 and it may take 8 GB of DDR2, but that the memory of any reputable vendor is crazy expensive, like $150 ++ for 2 x 4 gig modules.

    Here is the Service Manual:

    Manual

The top of the page compatible processor is an AMD Turion™ Ultra Dual-Core 35W ZM-86 2.40 GHz with 2 MB of L2 cache

If you want to go from 2.2 ghz to 1 meg to 2.4 ghz with 2 MB of L2 cache L2 cache, may be a treatment of 20% energy improvement. Not enough, IMO, to justify the difficulty because it is still not in the ballpark of machines of today.

You can buy the processor from a dealer renowned for $15 with free shipping. That should tell you what the demand is for her. Basically obsolete.

I replaced motherboards in several series dv7-1000, and it is one of the harder to take apart laptops. Many cables in strange tablecloth and Remora in all directions.

  • Pavilion dv7 - 1247cl: upgrade memory dv7 - 1247cl

It is my understanding that my Pavilion dv7 - 1247cl can support up to 8 GB memory max.  The laptop will support a 8gig stick, or should it be 2 4 gig sticks?  In addition, if it supports a key of 8 GB, the memory would work faster compared to the two port?

It's DDR2-800 SO-DIMM memory. I don't think they ever done 8 sticks of concert of this type of memory and if they did, it would be very expensive. The best price I could find on the last person who asked about the DDR2-800 memory for a kit of 2 x 4 GB (8 GB total) exceeded $150:

    http://www.Amazon.com/Komputerbay-PC2-6400-DDR2-800-SODIMM-channel/DP/B003D18Q7W/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&QID=1419373144&SR=8-6&keywords=DDR2-800+so-DIMM

2 identical modules will run in mode dual channel which is about 8 to 10% of the memory faster performance.  So 2 x 4 is faster that 1 x 8 would be, if there was even such a thing as a module of 8 GB, I think not there.

I don't think that the difference between 4 and 8 GB is going to be worth $ 155, personally.

  • Pavilion dv7-3078nr: upgrade memory for Pavilion dv7-3078nr

Hello! I have a portable entertainment dv7 model 3078nr number (number of product VU152UA #ABA). It has 4 GB of ram, which I had remembered as being the maximum installable. I recently upgraded to Windows (64-bit, home) to Windows 7 (same) 10 and have found that basic memory usage is higher, and he hits the high waterline much more quickly than before. (for example alert low Windows of memory, then programs disappear suddenly after.) I was surprised when adressing this notice that the model profile page lists the maximum memory 8 GB.

So! My question is especially that after searching around for some time, unable to really find anything clear, the maximum memory I can install anything (I read on another model dv7 modules available because the documentation was written enabled 2x8gb instead of 2 x 4 GB, for example), and what my best options to acquire it.

I tried manually by lifting my laptop on the Crucial site, but it has not been expressly listed. Their donnГ diagnostic tool using a results page with two 8 GB kits listed, but both at $239, that seems kind of evil? The listed modules were:

    8 GB (4GBx2) Kit DDR2 PC2-6400 unbuffered NON ECC 1.8V 512Meg x 64
    8 GB (4GBx2) Kit DDR2 PC2-5300 unbuffered NON ECC 1.8V 512Meg x 64

I believe that what are already installed are 2x2gb DDR PC2-6400.

Memory modules are used in these different workbooks and therefore rarer than those used in a configuration standard tour? I don't have memory before and would appreciate any guidance on what the options are and what specifications of the modules in order to search. Thank you for reading.

Right! Both tl; Dr: compatible with the motherboard modules are old and rare, which makes them incredibly expensive for what they are in today's terms.

  • G6 - 1045ej upgrad memory Pavilion

    Hello

I have HP pavilion 1045ej with 2 slots for momery, 1 g6 with 4 GB, it comes to the computer:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c02735623

According to these data, I can't add another stick to upgrade the memory.

in another page of hp, I can find the HP Pavilion G6 Notebook PC:Maintenance and Guide Service, and in Chapter 1 of 3 page, they wrote that laptops G6 can upgdate up to 8 GB:

    http://h20628.www2.HP.com/km-ext/kmcsdirect/emr_na-c02770249-1.PDF

so, I want to know if I can add another stick of 2 GB for 6 GB of ram, or in my model, I can't?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello:

You can add another 4 GB chip to the existing one for a ttl of 8 GB.

The news of upgrade memory on the first link you posted are not very well written.

It leads you to believe that you already have the maximum amount of memory installed.

What the author meant you add are another chip of 4 GB.

This can be confirmed in the service manual, Chapter 1 page 3.  However, they left configuration 2 x 4096 MB supported.

    http://h10032.www1.HP.com/CTG/manual/c02770249.PDF

So to answer your question... Yes, you can add a chip from 2 GB to 4 GB chip and get 6 GB but you can also well shoot the Moon and get a 4 GB chip, the thing out to 8 GB max, have run in DDR mode and do with her memory.

The memory does not work in DDR mode with a 4 + 2 GB memory configuration.

It seems to me that there are two memory slots (one almost on top of the other). Take a look at the illustration.

This is why the memory in Chapter 1 specifications indicate that you can install up to 8 GB of memory (2 x 4 GB).

You can install a single chip PC2-6400 4 GB and leave the one you have in there now.

It comes to the module memory 4 GB good cheaper brand I could find.
