HP Pavilion G6-2226TU: Remove Onedrive

Recently I upgraded to Windows 10 of Windows 7 and there are some pre-installed apps which I am not like especially the Onedrive I have another account of cloud on another Cloud Computing service and I also installed that but the Onedrive is by default now.

I looked for it in the Control Panel, but it is not listed there!

I want to just remove it from my home screen and I want to uninstall,

Is it possible to uninstall the Onedrive and do my other default application for cloud storage?

Follow this for uninstall Onedrive in Windows 10:

1: Open "administrative command prompt.

Right click on the Windows icon to the lower right and then click on (Admin) prompt.

2. Type taskkill /f /im OneDrive.exe to put end to any process for OneDrive and press ENTER.

3. then enter either %SystemRoot%\System32\OneDriveSetup.exe / uninstall if you use 10 Windows 32-bit

or

%SystemRoot%\SysWOW64\OneDriveSetup.exe / uninstall if you use 10 64-bit Windows and press ENTER.

You will see a dialog or confirmation progress bar when you do so, but if you try to search for OneDrive, the app is no longer there. Your OneDrive and files, however, will be always available.

Clean and remove the remains of OneDrive:

Run the commands below to clean up these remains by deleting the associated OneDrive folders and their contents:

'% UserProfile%\OneDrive' RD / q/s
'% LocalAppData%\Microsoft\OneDrive' RD / q/s
e "%ProgramData%\Microsoft OneDrive" / q/s
'C:\OneDriveTemp' e / q/s

Delete and OneDrive in file explore folder tree registry key:

OneDrive has the registry keys that are added to the Navigation of file Explorer pane in Windows 10. After you have uninstalled OneDrive, these registry keys are orphaned and can be removed.

REG delete «HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\» /f {018D5C66-4533-4307-9B53-224DE2ED1FE6}
REG Delete "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Wow6432Node\CLSID\ {018D5C66-4533-4307-9B53-224DE2ED1FE6}" / f

I hope that it helps.

  • Pavilion 14-v060Br: Remove audio beats without loss of sound quality

As many customers know, audio beats produced distortions and can be very annoying.

After a lot of research here, I could remove from Beats Audio and install generic drivers, but then I lost the quality of the sound and equalization that I would have with original drivers.

I would like to know if there is no driver, perhaps from a laptop with a similar material, which can give me back and quality equalization, without the distortions of Beats Audio.

HP shoud really solve this problem.

    Only, I solved the problem.

I use a HP Pavilion and the soundboard is Realtek, so if your soundboard is an IDT, the solution is different, but I found many topics on the problem of the IDT and I think it was has been resolved.

    Here we go:

1 uninstall all the drivers, you need to me probably do it in different ways: try to uninstall by ' Panel > uninstall a program > > Unistall Realtek High Definition Audio ' then open the Device Manager and go to "Audio, video and game controllers" and uninstall it too. Probably, there is two options, uninstall both of them. If there are more, uninstall all audio drivers you find. Edit: I forgot one thing, if you have the Support of HP software installed, unistall it too.

    2. do NOT restart the computer, if you do this, windows will install the generic drivers.

    3. go to 'http://www.realtek.com.tw/ > downloads > High Definition Audio Codecs (software) "and download one of the first two options (32 or 64-bit, with 103161 k or 128412 k files). Install and reboot the computer. I'm not sure but maybe you have to restart the computer two times.

    4. the Realtek Control Panel manage will start with windows and equalization will be back, too, the Equalization of the volume that distorts the sound will be gone, but you can check or uncheck in the control panel.

    5. If the Equalization of the volume or any other effect is always on and its reduction of the quality of the sound, the right click on the sound icon in the taskbar and then click "Playback devices", then click right-click in one of the devices and select "show disabled devices", then click on 'Speakers' with the right button , then 'properties' and then 'improvements', there you can disable or enable whatever you want, including equalization EQ and volume (witch kills the sound when active).

    6. what a shame you HP.

    I hope it helps.

  • HP Pavilion g6-2226tu Notebook: RAM Upgarde

    Hello

I'm looking to upgrade of RAM on my HP Pavilion laptop. the vehicle currently has 4 GB 1600 MHz DDR3.

It can take up to 8 GB of the SO-DIMM DDR3L-1600. See 01:30 on this video about how to upgrade:

    https://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=yYbeBffNjyg

    It works perfectly:

    http://www.Amazon.com/crucial-PC3-12800-204-pin-notebook-CT51264BF160B/DP/B005LDLV6S/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&QID=1440594723&SR=8-1&keywords=4+GB+DDR3L-1600

To get to 8 gigs you need of 2 x 4 GB modules if your laptop has already 2 x 2 GB and the only one that's more if you have a single concert 4 (most likely). Simply remove the cover to look at what you already have.

  • Pavilion 17-g101dx: remove Cyberlink programs

I just bought a new HP Pavilion and it has four associated programs
in Cyberlink. I use Irfanview and Windows Media Player for
my display and ripping operations. I don't watch DVDs or do
    all complicated image change.

It would be safe to get rid of these pre-loaded programs
and what should I use Revo or Perfect Uninstaller to do the
work are the windows uninstaller will do?

PS - my 320 CD are in the reader of music if it will affect my
library when I delete the program?

    Hello

There is no problem with the removal of these software and you should be fine uninstall in the usual way of software under programs and features entries.

About your music library, Cyberlink PowerMedia player only index the files on your HARD drive, so remove it shouldn't affect it somehow - you can just want to verify that Windows Media Player has indexed your music files before you uninstall cyberlink player powermedia.

If you know the current password, you can delete it as follows.

Shut down the laptop.  Now on TAP the ESC key as soon as you press the power button to access the start menu, then select f10 to open the Bios menu.  Use the arrows to select the Security tab and press ENTER.  Use the arrow keys again to highlight the power on password and press ENTER.  Enter the current password and then the new password, simply leave this blank and press on enter - do the same for the confirmation field.  Press f10, select this option to save the new settings and press to enter.

  • Pavilion Elite e9240f: remove a non-existent program

When I open Control Panel > programs and features, the programs include a program that apparently isn't on my computer.  'S called it Internet Explorer Toolbar 4.9 by Sweetpacks. I can't uninstall it; the uninstall process says that it can't find it.  Part of the given info mentions an .msi file that is involved, but I can't find this file, either.  I can't find the registry entries that mention this file or program.  I am convinced that the toolbar is not really on my PC, but how do I get rid of the entry of the control panel that he mentions?

    Hello

Thanks for posting in the Forum from HP Support.

Sweetpacks is a security risk and privacy / adware.

Please, read the instructions for deletion here > https://malwaretips.com/blogs/remove-sweetpacks-toolbar/

    AdwCleaner should do the trick.

I would like to know if it works.

  • Pavilion 17 F019wm: Remove access to Intel's technology?

    Hello

Today turned on the laptop and got an installation box asking what I want to do: remove the software or repair. I don't know why this happened. Can I remove or repair? The laptop has an AMD Intel processor not, but I just did an update of the wireless card. Who would have something to do with it?

    Thank you

    Hello @shl1024,

    Thanks for the quick response!

Check if your BIOS is up to date.  You can use Windows Update, to search for the drivers that are compatible with Windows 10.  You can consult this site too: products HP - where can I find drivers Windows 10 and software for my model?

If you have problems to install the drivers, you can use the tool on the following site:

Open the Windows Update troubleshooting tool

It is possible that the drivers are not available for your product.  If this is the case, or the drivers you found do not work, try to use the solutions on this site to work around the problem and let me know how it goes: how: install and update drivers in Windows 10

    I hope this helps.

Sometimes you need something like CCleaner to remove the no side program. If not, look under your Program Files directory and see if you can find a link to these programs/toolbars and see if there is an uninstall for them otherwise you will have to make a Chrome uninstall and see if he has hidden the uninstallation of these emissions. Otherwise, you will need to use like the other poster or restart your computer to the last frame of work to wipe these programs to the wide and this time reinstall as "custom" or let me choose how to install options NEVER use express install is how you get these malicious toolbars and stolen file associations. In this way, you can stop the programs you don't want to install and only install the browser Chrome itself.
