HP Pavilion g6-2267: Ralink RT5390R 802.11bng driver of the network adapter
HP Pavilion g6-2267sa Notebook PC
Model #: C5J53EA
Hi, for the past few weeks my network adapter drops connectivity at any time and the only way it can be "solved" by deactivation/activation of the connection but even that does not always work. Or restart the laptop. From time to time, it disappears from the Device Manager too.
I tried to uninstall the driver (sp66805) and reinstall also roll back, but always without success. Not sure if I install the wrong drivers or not or if my adapter fails slowly. As a last resort, I've changed the black and grey cable to the adapter that allows a certain driver (sp64950) to work for about 5-10 minutes once before needing to be reset.
The hardware ID:
PCI\VEN_10EC & DEV_8136 & SUBSYS_183F103C & REV_05
PCI\VEN_10EC & DEV_8136 & SUBSYS_183F103C
PCI\VEN_10EC & DEV_8136 & CC_020000
PCI\VEN_10EC & DEV_8136 & CC_0200
Thank you

Pavilion G6 2212sa: ralink RT5390R 802.11bgn
Hello
My main problem is that I am registered for 100MB internet connection and I can read only 30 MB it wireless. Cable made full speed correctly the problem is in my camera.
I tried to read the forum on the wifi adapter and its problems and noticed that others have the same problem.
As I understand it it is true that the adapter is not capable for high-speed internet.
Could you tell me what other cards I can get into my laptop which would certainly manage the 100 MB?
I look forward to hearing from you.
No problem @lsdigiti
This one looks good.
And this one.

I have a HP Pavilion dv6t-7000, equipped with the Ralink RT5390R wireless adapter. For the life of me, I can't get it to connect to my home network when implemented as 802.11n. They connect other devices. If I change my router 802.11 g, but no other change, doe HP connect. But if I return the router to 802.11n, HP sees the network, and it correctly identifies as a 802.11n network, but does not connect.
The router is a D - Link DIR-615 (N300 2.4 ghz)
All this experience? All solutions?
Woo-Hoo.
Found a solution. Both HP and windows said I had the most current drivers, but this HP forum had a link to a newer driver. Installed and it worked.

RALink RT5390 802.11/b/g/n WiFi adapter 5.0 ghz problem
I have a laptop DV7 - 6113cl. It has a Ralink RT5390 802.11/b/g/n WiFi adapter and I can't connect to my wifi 5.0 ghz router. I can only connect to my 2.4 ghz router, the router is an Asus RT-N56U Dual Band router 802. 11 g/b/n /.
The 2.4 ghz is 802. 11 g/b
the 5.0 ghz is 802.11 n/a.
Please help me, I need to connect to the 5.0 ghz because the 2.4 ghz signal is only 1 bar if im in my room.
Ralink RT5390 is 2.4 GHz only.
Try to move your router or by assigning a different channel.
Banhien is only partially correct. While 802. 11A works on 5 GHz, you have reason to believe that 802.11n can do 2,4 or 5.

HP Pavilion 2336el g6 and Ralink RT5390R 802.11bgn Wi - Fi adapter
I recently bought this laptop which came with Windows 8, since I hated this OS I he wiped and installed Windows 7 64-bit.
I installed all necessary drivers directly from manufacturers having recovered components via PCI VEN_ID and DEV_ID specifications. Everything is installed correctly. But the wireless adapter gives me problems, namely: the login silently removes all the minutes.
The laptop is really close to my router which is just under my desk and I still see 5 bars of signal strength. My router uses 802. 11 b the Protocol.
I tried to change between static IP and DHCP assigned, change the transmission channel router, disable mode "n" on the wireless card, reinstall the drivers, by disabling NetBIOS services. Nothing seems to solve the problem.
The drivers I use come from here:
http://www.MediaTek.com/_en/07_downloads/01_windows.php
I noticed an update of Windows on the right wireless adapter came through this morning: now the driver version is 5.0.9.0 and the connection seems stable: it worked for a few hours now. It seems rather strange that pilot the window is no longer updated driver from the manufacturer...
EDIT 28/05/2013: this update seems to have solved the problem. No other problems. Very stable connection even from a distance.

RALink rt5390r 802.11bgn wifi not detected
I have HP Envy M6 1225 dx. Ralink wifi driver bundled with it served me well up to a year. But now I'm not because of the update of windows or something else, I'm having a problem with him. Sometimes, the pilot works well, but most and most of the time, windows no problem with the driver. It, or mentions "problem driver or hardware ' while I troubleshoot it, or sometimes it does even not detect the device in Device Manager. I even tried to reinstall the driver by the driver that I have provided with the laptop bt the same problem persists. I would like to know if the updates of windows it is disturbing because once I had found the update of the driver Ralink wifi on the windows update list that had created the problem and I uninstalled it. Now I can't find this driver update in the list of windows updates. Please help me!
Hello Sabrina,
Welcome to the HP Forums!
I understand that your wireless adapter does not work correctly. Just to clarify, can you tell me if you have deleted the Windows update that you believe has problem?
Try to install the drivers for the wireless card: Mediatek 802.11 Wireless LAN Adapter Driver
You can also try to do a restore system before the issue started. You can access the system restore in HP Recovery Manager by repeatedly tapping the F11 key, while the portable lights.
Let me know if it works for you!

RALink rt5390r wireless guard give up the connection
I have the Office of CTO H8-1540 8.1 Windows running. This machince has been bundled with Windows 8 and I experienced the same behavior on the two OS'. I have no problem getting a connection, but I can't keep the connection. I have a RT5390R of RALINK 802.11bgn card with the version of the driver from 5.00.37.000.
This machine and master connects to an Actiontec MI424WR Rev I have router. On a wired connection, I get 75Mo down and 37MB upwards. The wireless connection is only 44.5 MB donw and 38.7 upward. Troubleshooting of Windows usually fixes the problem if I'm on the PC. The connection failed twice when entering this question on the Web site. I would also add that I have 2 other laptops HP, who do not have this problem. I have also 3 Android devices and 2 Apple products that do not have questions to stay connected.
HP has replaced the RT5390R wireless card in my destop and returned the PC yesterday; 4 June 2014. The PC has been on my local network 24 hours at this point, which would be longer that I never saw him standing in the past of 23.5 hours. I am considering whether the resolution.
For those past the warranty, I would suggest adding a product of reliable wireless alternative to replace the RT5390R. If your PC is still under warranty, contact HP before the expiration of the warranty.

HP 802. 11b / g wireless network adapter driver is not compatible windows 8
I have a HP Pavilion P7-1054 and my RealtecNetwork adapter does not work after installation of window 8, 64-bit. Have an error "network adapter is not available.
Well, I think I got the LAN adaptors to work. That I did use the HP System Recovery and load Windows 8, to my surprise, as I thought it was Windows 7 system in the computer. Because it just to load the system and not the Applications when I checked this morning I had Internet and Email. So I think that what has happened is the Internet of ESet security has done will not stop and this has prevented the loading of drivers. So I thank you for your help, all right. Now to learn a new operating system.

I've updated windows 8 (which was delivered with the laptop) to windows 8.1. I've also updated windows later. and with HP support assistant updated all the drivers, I have now version 2012.7.1231.2013 date: 13/01/2014
but still the problem frequently wifi falls. Rear door troubleshooting 'default gateway is unavailable' 'fixed' but I'm pretty frustrated with it.
Especially because I always have problems with shockwave flash crash in chrome and firefox. But I'm going to make another call for this. Completely recover the OS from scratch and all-new update, did not help.
My product number: E0J97UA #ABA
Help, please

Pavilion dv7 WC159EA #ABU: replacement of the network adapter on HP Pavilion dv7-3111ea
Can you tell me what is the best card available and compatible network for my laptop? I'm looking to upgrade, for better performance and speed overall, which is currently averaging around 35Mbps on speedtest on a ~ 100 Mbps Broadband fiber optic (Virgin UK).
Here's what he said:
Wireless options integrated wireless LAN (WLAN) using the wireless module:
Module of Half-Mini Card WLAN 802.11a/b/g ■ Intel 5100
Module ■ 4322 Broadcom 802.11a/b/g/n WLAN
Module ■ Broadcom 802.11a/b/g WLANIf you can find a half-height intel 5300 for HP I would try that but also look at the 4322 broadcome which would indicate that one is dual band of its identifier. But my money first of all find a low-profile 5300 indicating he works for hp then if it does not move from Broadcom. But that is you can risk losing money if the 5300 does not work. That's what I'd do, but does not mean that you should go this route.
