Hello

You want money speed on the material for your Corel problem, when the problem is perhaps the application?

PC electronic exchange parachute and there is always something bigger and better every six months.

Depending on how much gaming performance you need, you can go with the NVIDIA GTX 660 and the power supply Corsair CX600.

    Schmatrix, welcome to the forum.

The problem you are having, it is that the video card requires UEFI in the motherboard instead of a standard BIOS.  HP didn't start using UEFI until mid-October 2012.  Your computer was released in February 2012.  You must contact the Technical Support of Zotac to see if they have a VBIOS update that will solve your problem.

  • BSOD when playing videos - Pavilion HPE h8-1010

    Hello

Every time I have try and play videos online (for example, through YouTube), approximately 60 - 120 seconds in the video, I get a BSOD;  the stop code is 0 x 00000116 and the assigned driver is ATIKMPAG. SYS.

    Here are the basics:

-HP Pavilion HPE h8-1010 (Core i5 processor 2.7 GHz, 8 GB of memory;) ID 2AC2 7.03 BIOS version)

-Installed at the factory (ATI Radeon HD 6450) video card

-Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium with all required & recommended Windows updates installed

    -IE 8.0

    -Adobe Flash 10.3

I tried to fix it myself in upgrading the original video driver to the latest version of the Web from AMD site (8.872.0.0, 07/07/2011 date of the driver), and doing so has not solved the problem.  I also tried to run IE 8 in 32-bit and 64-bit - mode which has not solved the problem either.

Finally, the system adopted in the tool diagnostic using the system BIOS and a full audit of the system through HP Vision Diagnostics without error.

    Any advice?  Help!

  • HP pavilion HPE-H8-1212: power upgrade graphics card is it useful?

I currently have a HP pavilion HPE-H8-1212 with an AMD Radeon HD 7450 card with the standard power supply provided with the computer.  From now run many games on this machine with what graphics settings be better then adverage is a sad screen.  I don't need the best, but I was wondering if I could spend my power supply card and graphics mabye if need be to get the best out of this small computer for gaming?

Does anyone have suggestions on what chart cards (best I can go) that are compatible with this machine as is?

And/or what power upgrade level to if necessary to install a better graphics card - and which cards would be these (even better cards that would work on this machine)

  • Will be GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB GDDR5 128-Bit card video work with HP Pavilion HPE h8-1010?

Hi, I need to update my graphics card and I was wondering if this graphics card work with my HPE h8-1010.

    EVGA GTX of GeForce G 02-P4-3757 - KR 750 Ti 2 GB 128 - Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 FTW w / ACX cooling video card

Everything on the PC is stock.

If this would not work, please tell me why not so that I can pick up another card that meets the requirements.

    Thank you much in advance.

Requirements for the EVGA graphics card

    • 300 Watt or greater power monophase.* *.
    • PCI Express, PCI Express 2.0 or PCI Express 3.0 compatible motherboard with a chart.
    • A PCI-E power connector 6 pin available.

For the EVGA card you will need a power 6-pin PCIe connector. Your PSU stock doping likely not have one so that means updated POWER supply required. PSU stock is a little power for the treatment as well. EVGA said minimum 300 Watt, but the majority of gamers and enthusiasts use 450 Watts minimum. For your Carmel motherboard, I would consider a MSI Radeon R7 250, 2 GB, PCI-E 3.0, card DirectX 11.2 rather than unity of EVGA. With an upgrade of the power supply or video card should work without problem. POWER supply upgrade: I highly recommend Corsair as a choice of valuation gamer and enthusiast. Great price for the value. A Corsair CX430 or CX600 PSU would be a great choice. The price is also quite reasonable. The cards are in the following link

  • Pavilion HPE h8 - 1380t: video card upgrade for Pavilion HPE h8 - 1380t

    Hi all

I recently bought a map GTX1060 (from a MSI GeForce GT640) 4 year old GPU from nVidia in line in order to improve the capacity of my machine so that I would be able to play Fallout 4 and 3 Witcher (both put my poor old GT640 kneeling - even on lower resolution settings).  It is part of the case and the powers that be (Yes, I plug in the connector 6-pin PSU) and 600W POWER supply is adequate for the task, but I'm starting to think that I probably have a motherboard compatibility issue.

When I install the card and turn on the PC, it hangs at the splash screen of installation (a common problem from what I've already read on these forums) and that it goes no further (keyboard and mouse do not respond at this time here).  I contacted the nVidia support, and they suggested some changes to the BIOS (disable Secure Boot, activate the Legacy/MSC Mode and switching between legacy and UEFI BIOS selection Mode), but when I access the HP configuration utility (F10 on boot to top with GT640 card installed), these options are not put at my disposal.

Is it possible for me to access the BIOS settings that nVidia has indicated I should be adjusted?

This GPU card simply is not at all compatible with my motherboard?

    System Specs:

    HP model number: B4J28AV #ABA (Pavilion HPE h8 - 1380t)

    Motherboard: Pegatron 2ACE(Socket 0); 1.08; Intel Sandy Bridge-E Rev. 07; Intel Southbridge X 79 Rev 05

    BIOS: FRIEND 7.15

    CPU: Intel Core i7 3930 K (3.2 GHz)

    OS: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit, SP1

Current GPU: MSI GeForce GT640; Driver 10.18.13.6881

If the GTX1060 is not compatible, which is the highest card GPU nVidia performance that can be used with this motherboard (given the limitation of power supply 600W)?

Is there another motherboard for this machine which would be compatible with my existing CPU and the GTX1060?

    Thanks for your help...

    Hello

    The h8 1380t has a Pegatron motherboard 'Pittsburgh '.

You could try to find a future revision of this motherboard. I'm also a 810-150se with a map of the 'Pittsburgh2' system that has UEFI. I use a card Nvidia GTX EVGA FTW 970 with excellent results.

You will need to check that the Review Board would fit in your frame.

    The other options are:

1.new want to expedition with Win 7 Pro, or

    2 falcon Northwest.

In a map of the main current system the permutation of Asus, Gigabyte or Asrock is difficult at best. You have to change other components such as the processor, heat sink, fan and the memory. You can probably buy an OEM of Windows 7 Pro version.

It becomes quite expensive when you do the math on all of the changes you will have to do. There is no guarantee that you can find a map of the main current system having the correct spacers for your chassis h8 - 1380t.

Avoid a Skylake processor if you can unless you don't mind jumping through a few extra hoops to install Win 7.

Please consult this article and go here for the workaround resolved the problem installing win 7.

  • Pavilion HPE 440F: need new video card for HPE-440F

    Salvation;

The ATI Radeon HD 5570 in my Pavilion HPE 440F appears to be dead, or is doing. The fan has stopped working and I think the map has overheated.

    I'm running Windows 7 x 64.

Anyway - I would like to install a new card - and best video. It is, since it is HP, I bet that not all cards are compatible with my system.

For example, I can buy an ATI Radeon SR-290, which gets much higher than my current card pass mark. Or maybe even a NVidia card might be a better value for the money.

Can someone point me to a list of compatible video cards for my system?

    Thank you

p.s. My Linux box is not an HP.

    Ubuntu_Kid, welcome to the forum.

The problem you are having is, most of the newer video cards require UEFI in the motherboard instead of a standard BIOS.  HP didn't start using UEFI until mid-October 2012.  Your computer was released on August 26, 2010.

Some of the manufacturers have developed a VBIOS that will allow their cards to work with legacy BIOS.  I know that the EVGA has done with some of their cards.  I suggest to call their Tech Support (1888-880-3842) to see if they have a card that will work with your computer.

It just loks like the new graphics card prevents the hard drive to run.

Is it possible that the new card draws so much power that it prevents the hard drive of the race?

I'm not familiar with current PC for sale, regarding upgrades.  Since is considered a new HP, try looking at the list of options on the HP website.  Most higher end PC have the options that you choose before buy you, to customize the generation.  Choose a model with options that match your criteria now and notice the upgrade options - write down them - to avoid confusion later.  OR go with a customized version, but this could mean significant spending.  It is the hand off the coast between prebuilts and personalized.

  • Can I add a better graphics for Equium A100-306 card?

As the title suggests it is possible to add a graphics card to an A100 - 306 Equium to better manage the games?

    Thoughts or comments appreciated.

    Thank you

I can only confirm the information provided by James.
The notebooks are all just different as the desktop PC and these updates are therefore not possible.
If you are a hardcore gamer I n t understand why buy you a laptop.
I m also play with passion and I would recommend buying a desktop computer if you want to play the latest games. The Office supports various devices. You re more flexible with upgrades and especially the parts are cheaper.

  • Pavilion hpe model h8 - 1240t: graphic design

Model hp pavilion hpe h8 - 1240t model No. now here is my problem when starting computer windows 7 trys to start but 2 vertical red lines appear vertically trys to load at the office but wont.i have to restart the computer by pressing start to stop and restart now when I do it tells me that there not close properly I want to boot into Normal mode If I say yes to the same thing it wont load to the top and im not on my desk, the screen is black, so when I restart the computer now I use safe mode and now it works, but most of the features do not work, it works in normal mode, it worked only once after so many controls memory hard drive of any snippet of ok. So, im wondering could it be my graphics card? its only 4 years. Looking at my list of command on this computer, it is said... 3 GB amd radeon HD7950 (double support, 2 x minidp, hdmi, dvi)

Also as I am typing the letters bleeding black and red. Where is the problem? How can I check to be sure that this is the problem? hate to keep away from safe. Anyone has any idea what it could be? Thanks for listening.

    Hi there @charles49,

I hope you find your experience of positive Support Forum! It's a good place to find the help you need, other users, the HP experts and other members of the support staff. I understand that your display is not coming properly, but you can start in safe mode. I'm happy to help you with this.

Because the system operates in Mode safe mode, it allows to narrow the problem, although it's going to be associated with the graphics card or its driver.

Something you might try is to remove the existing display using Device Manager driver of in Safe Mode and load a generic display driver.  Then, try to pitch it up normally and see if the computer is in place. Remember that you set the screen resolution to something a little more useful to you before moving on to a normal start to the top.

If it starts normally then you can try the preferred display driver update with a new installation.  You can try the HP Support Assistant for the driver if you have not already very practice. Computers HP - using HP Support Assistant (Windows 10, 8, 7)

If the pilot goes and the system works properly, then you should be good. If this isn't the case, then the card probably has something wrong with his ability to use his "higher functions".

Please let me know if it works for you and if it does not solve your problem, please mark this message as a solution. Bravo would be appreciated as well.

I suspect it's the button broke off his mount. It's just a piston. The actual switch is lower. You need to remove the real top panel to decide the issue. Here's a guide. See p 2 and 3. After removing the side panel and the front panel, you should see the screws in the top panel. You might be able to fix it to the mount.

If this is not the case, a replacement Panelcan be purchased here.

    Thank you!

    Hello

A video card with certain powers, such as NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 it in the office, I use, requires a minimum of 450 Watts and two PCIe 6-pin power connectors to operate. The specification of the manufacturer of a video card will specify what power is needed and how the PCIe power connectors are needed. I usually install OCZTechnology, Corsair or PC Power & Cooling brands that are well known in the enthusiast PC and professional circles IT. avoid no-name brands to avoid disappointment.

This means that the standard 300 Watt power supply of your PC is not just enough.

The video card that is currently in your office is a low-power video card that requires minimal power to operate, but unfortunately also doesn't have a lot of video processing power.

You can find the video that will show you how do it if you feel comfortable enough to make yourself. You can also pay to have done by a tech in a store, if you think you need.

It is strongly recommended that the PSU have the following specs or better. ATX12V V2.3 / EPS 12V V2. These specifications ensure that the power supply will have connectors that requires your PC.

Due to the limited space in the case of an OEM PC like yours, it is also suggested that food being of modular type.
