1. product http://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c05149471 does not mention that the unit has been delivered with backlit keyboard, but you can try pressing F5 to activate it (if the unit comes with one).
2. Download drivers BIOS from the link below, select the operating system from the list and then download the latest update of the BIOS.

Since HP Support Assistant updated on 20/11/2015, which has also updated HP Support Solutions Framework on the same day, I get several event ID 3 warnings in Event Viewer on my Pavilion Desktop. Everyone can repeat 2 or 3 times when the computer is started or wakes. There are 66 warnings until 6 days. All come from HP health Active.

I know it's just a warning and it doesn't seem to affect the performance of my computer that I can say, but I would like to know why it's happening.
Well, I found the task that updates HPSA in Task Scheduler. I disabled it by using the Properties window. On the chance someone may be interested, I'll post how it turns out.
I hope that I can now keep the HPSA listed for my computer with no additional alert to update again HPSA that generates several warnings and is not compatible with my desktop computer Pavilion p6 - 2220t and/or Windows 7 sp1 64-bit operating system.
This disabled the HPSA update only not any other. It seems to be a standalone update for HPSA.

The link to download the latest version of HP Support Assistant from the HPSA page no longer (at least for me). When I choose the download to laptop, I get redirected to the language/country selection page and selecting a language just redirects me to the support home page. I searched this forum and Google but have been unable to find a working link to download. Can someone help me find a download link to work for the latest version of HPSA for a Win7 x 64 Pavilion dv6? I looked in your question about your 15 HP Pavilion Notebook and the HP Support Assistant, showing a space where the question mark should be. Here is a link to troubleshoot the HP Support Assistant. You need to maybe uninstall and reinstall.

Have you tried a couple of times and each time I end u without connecting to the net - had to use a restore point for come back to where I was so I used the WiFi AC. I like to keep things up-to-date on my laptop, so I was wondering what I should do to get this recommended update loaded and still have WiFi connectivity?

Okay, I think that the problem is that, as you update the wifi driver using wifi, the connection falls at a point and corrupts files. so my sollution would be to try to download the driver out of his HP and install it "without having to be connected. Here is the link to download the driver

I got a recommended set the HP Support Assistant program to update update for HP Notebook System BIOS (AMD processors). I installed the update to the BIOS but the HP Support Assistant still says I need to run the BIOS update. So I ended that run the BIOS update 2 times more but it prompt update with the exclaimation point in the promgram HP Support Assistant to delay the update of the BIOS is always there to want me to install the BIOS update.
How can I clear this reminder of update of the HP Support Assistant program?

1. If machine BIOS update after downloading, it will automatically start the system and show you the whole process and progress.
2 just by downloading the BIOS update does not update. However no Expert here don't advise update BIOS to do as a routine, including through HPSA.
If an UPDATE of the BIOS damage your laptop computer, you will not be able to turn on the machine - in short - it'll be no more than an expensive paper weight.
3 If the BIOS has been updated successfully, then you go and not be able to on & do your work in portable as usual.

I have a Pavilion laptop g6 AX 1209 running on a Windows 7 Home basic 64 - bit OS. I uninstalled wrong "HP Setup" software through a third-party software called "Revo Uninstaller". Now I find my HP product Assistant in my missing task bar. My OS has become too slow as a result. Help, please.

If it is not... Well, you have learned your lesson. System Restore is one of the most important features of Windows7 and I will disable it not.
If you have backed up your system and files with a mirror image you can use it to restore. I'm not a geek, but if I were in your position, my last resort is to save my files on removable media and do another reinstall with my recovery disk to restore my laptop to factory settings.

Pavilion DV6 2150US: HP Support Assistant does not open
My Assistant help suddenly stopped opening when you click on the shortcut. I have uninstalled and installed the newer version sp71727. It will not always be open. Uninstalled and reinstalled twice with the same result. Also, I went to the folder program and clicked on the executable file with the same result. Stay programs and the system is functioning normally. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

The first thing you need to do is to completely uninstall HPSA. Then, use the version appropriate for your computer listed here.
I suggest to use Revo Uninstaller to remove HPSA. It will remove the HARD disk as well as all the remains of the BIOS. I use the FREE version. The advanced option is best to remove the entire application.
