I hope someone can help me.

I have a desktop HP Pavilion p7 - 1207c but he nor an HDMI or an exit VGA DVI only.

Most recent monitors do not have a DVI input which I just bought one because my old monitor no longer works.

Is it possible to install this feature in this office?

Please help if you can; Thank you very much.

Hello

A DVI-HDMI cable works but you will not get sound of DVI port.

Kind regards.

Good evening, I have a laptop HP Pavilion DV6-6119wm Quadcore with AMD Radeon graphics card, which includes a VGA port and an HDMI cable. Together they are so close that you cannot connect both at the same time, but as I needed this so much, I cut the part on the side of the VGA cable to connect the two: the VGA and HDMI cables. Now they are connected.

The runtime separately, they work very well: HDMI works ranging from office with the laptop screen and VGA works too big office that stretches with the screen of the laptop, but I want to run the extended desktop on the 3 displays: the laptop display, vga and hdmi. I tried to put parameters "- display - screen resolution" on Windows7 and when I try to "Extend the desktop to this display" if she s HDMI If VGA is work or vice versa, I get: "cannot save the display settings.

Is the function of the use of two video cards at the same time is available? So then I m something wrong on the parameters, and if not, I'll have to look for an alternative to the extension of the workstations.

    Thank you.

Nevermind I got it. There are two ways to fix.

  • Monitor connected via HDMI to VGA connector does not

My Pavilion p6598uk has an ATI Radeon HD5450 with a DVI and HDMI output. I have a monitor connected to the DVI output via a VGA Converter thing, it works very well. I am trying to connect a second display on the HDMI output using HDMI cable to VGA. This does not at all. It is an OLD monitor (10 years) but works ok if I plug it into the DVI/VGA Converter.

Monitor just says no: «No sighnal video» I tried 2 different cables and my drivers are up to date.

Is it possible to connect an old (not HD) monitor to the HDMI output? If so, what am I doing wrong? Would this work if I bought a new HD TV to use as a monitor?

    Windows 7 64 bit

    All solutions gratefully received.

You cannot convert HDMI to VGA without some serious gear digital analog conversion. You cannot use a device simple passthough like you can do with a DVI-I/VGA cable adapter. You will need to use an HDMI cable and a monitor that has a HDMI or DVI - I/D connector.

  • input out of range with HDMI to VGA LE1901w

    Hello!

Recently, I acquired a LE1901w monitor as a second screen. I'm trying to connect it to my Toshiba u925 using adapters HDMI / VGA (because neither the monitor has an HDMI port, or the laptop has a VGA output).

I get the message "input out of range signal" requesting a change to 1440 x 920 @ 60 Hz and continues to display until the monitor going to sleep even when I change the settings according to demand.

I have an integrated Intel HD Graphics 4000 and I use the default Windows for Windows 8.1 monitor drivers

    Any comments will be useful

    Thank you

    Hello @fbinim,

I understand that you get the message "Input Signal Out Of Range" and it asks you to change at 1440 x 920 @ 60 Hz. I suspect it's a driver problem and you need to make sure that your drivers are up to date on your computer. Just to be safe, I recommend if you could to move the HP LE1901W monitor to another computer and make sure you do not have the problem. If you have it on a different computer the problem you are experiencing seems to be a physical problem. Please contact our technical support at the 800-474-6836. • HPE-240f blocked hdmi and vga?

I have a HP #-240f.  VGA and HDMI ports have a plastic with "do not remove".  Why?  I need to use the double graphics.  I have two HP 2509 m monitors and what to connect them to the system.  All I can do is to use the HDMI TV card housing to plug one of them.

Why does the VGA and HDMI?

How can I add a second monitor?

I read the articles and responses of "Bob", but can't seem to find an answer.  Please help a beginner to HP.

    Thank you

    Jim

First of all, this is the card to your computer HPE-240f and your HP 2509 m monitors. "Stuck" HDMI, and VGA ports are Intel H57 chipset integrated graphics ports. These ports are disable when a graphics card discrete, like the ATI Radeon HD5570 which is included in your computer, is installed. The card that has a DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort output is your graphics card and not your TV tuner. Your monitors to 2509 m HP has VGA, HDMI and DVI inputs. Connect a monitor with a DVI cable and the other with a HDMI cable.

  • HDMI to Vga 2015 Mac

I have a macbook pro with the retina display 2015. I have a vga screen and a hdmi adapter. Whenever I connect the Hdmi adapter on my mac and plug on my screen of my Mac screen to him becomes black and it does not work. Can someone please give me a solution thanks.

There is no sensible way (that I know of) to convert HDMI to VGA and have everything continue to work.

I suggest get you an adapter Mini DisplayPort to VGA and plug on the Thunderbolt port (Mini DisplayPort is a subset of the Thunderbolt).

  • Toshiba 42WL67Z - no picture via hdmi and vga

    Hello

After a power outage, my 42WL67Z (Regza LCD) no longer displays a picture via hdmi and vga.

The computer receives a TV signal, it detects the screen when connected and offers the usual option (duplicate or prolong the display, screen resolution), but no image is displayed.

    The OSD works well.

    Ideas?

    > Ideas?

I think that you first need to connect to another device (DVD player, Blu - Ray player, etc.) on television and must choose the right channel to enter the settings.
If TV continues not to receive all the signals of such device, it means you have a hardware problem.

  • Re: Satellite Z830 Ultrabook - blurred image on the vga output

    Hello

I have a ultrabook Z830 i5 with 6 GB of ram. I run it on a double screen when I'm at work (computer laptop screen more VGA monitor). However, the VGA display is extremely poor and very "blurry".

I checked the graphics card intel card drivers and all seems up-to-date (correct driver version), I tested the monitor with other laptops and everything seems fine. I also checked to make sure that the refresh rate is successfully set.

On thing that I noticed is that since I rebuilt the laptop (to get rid of bloatware and maximize ssd space) the graphic score rose from 5.4 to 5.0. I wonder if I've left out a Toshiba key utility that provides the best VGA output?

    Appreciate any help!

    Thank you

    Hello

In your case, I recommend you the native resolution of the external monitor and use this native resolution for external monitor. The use of wrong or not native resolution can cause blurry screen outings.

Of course you should also test this with different external monitors

Please help I really can't respond directly to google

    Hello era Kantoku.

NO it used to work and its not backward compatible.

HDMI is a pure solid digital signal and analog VGA . A passive cable will not work for this conversion.

You need an active adapter specifically for the digital conversion analog.

This adapter has received good reviews on Amazon. Look for something like this...

The mackintosh is on the right track, the installed graphics driver doesn't support the screen resolution of 1280 * 768.
It seems you laptop has an Intel graphics card. Am I wrong?
Well, quite simply, visit Intel page and check the drivers available.
