HP Pavilion Slimline s7510.se - power switch?

Hello dlt0207, here is a link for the information you need.

As indicated in the information, you will probably need to change the power cord with a 110 volt type.

The 220 volts type is different. You can locate these power cords from 110 volts to many PC vendors and other service providers. They are inexpensive. The difference between the two cords may be at the end that plugs into the wall outlet. The end that plugs into the power supply should be the same.

While I saw no mention of the cycles, as most of the 220-volt power sources operate at 50 Hz, and the United States operating at 60 cycles, this should always work but can cause the clock is not incorrect. The power supply HP may automatically change to 60 cycles when the device on 110-volt setting.

Just locate the slide switch to red at the back of the power supply and drag it to the position of 110 volts.

I hope this helps.

  • Can I put the Pavilion Slimline 180 Watt power supply to a 300 Watt PSU

    Of course, you can!

Here is an informational videoabout the possibilities of upgrading your slimline WHAT PSU found on YouTube.  A comparison of three power supplies, including the owner HP PSU and a (two video and CPU) stress test and comparison of noise is shown during the video.

Be aware that some, but not all, of the PSU, upgrades require a simple and light your PSU slimline support change. Change depends on the power supply model chosen for the upgrade.

Purchase an adaptor molex as HP UPE is necessary for the Slimlines using a power supply with the format owners microfit ATX 24 pin, as well as the standard for the HTPC power supply ATX 20 pin format.

Upgrade your power supply at a higher power will not damage your motherboard. A power supply will provide only so much power that is required of him by the mother and peripheral card up to the nominal power of the installed PSU.

It is for those who wondered how to work around the limitation of the low power 180 Watt power supply that most Pavilion Slimline PCs come with the Assembly. With a power SUPPLY improved, more memory and a graphics card discrete, including support (it is a requirement) your Slimline can be your gaming PC.

Selecting a graphics card is another topic. Not all graphics cards can hold in the case of a slimline. It takes a low profile video card. They are available for purchase online.

  • HP Pavilion Slimline 400-314: power on password

A friend brought me his computer for repair and looking for the admin password to start.

    Hello:

There is a rider of password on the motherboard with that you have to finagle.

To clear the password BIOS follow these steps:

    1. turn OFF the computer and unplug the power cord.

2 move the jumper of password of pins 2 and 4 (by default) on pins 4 and 6.

    3. connect the power cord and turn on the computer.  Password should be gone now.

    4. turn OFF the computer and unplug the power cord.

    5. then replace the default password jumper (pins 2 and 4).

Below the diagram of the motherboard... the password jumper is marked on the motherboard (in white) on the lower right part of the image (where you see blue jumpers).

You need to understand who is who, because there is no diagram to jump.

It seems to me that a blue jumper clears the CMOS memory, and another erasing the password.

  • Power HP Pavilion Slimline s3000 supply problems

Hey!  The power supply on my Hp Pavilion Slimline s3000 seems to be corrupted.  The green light in the back, but nothing moves or uo beyond that light sources.  I opened the computer and when I listen carefully when I press the power button a few noises come from the lower end of the power supply near the fan.  When I searched these forums said that a cap may be broken, but I have not seen those that may be broken.  If I want to move my 160 Watt power higher, what should I do? If I went to a 200 or 225 watts then I should add something?  and it is possible that the power supply is not broken and miss me something?

  • Pavilion Slimline lock up in sleep mode-fan works high not lights up unless I pull the power cord 1

New HP Pavilion Slimline desktop 400-314 - mode 'sleep' sometimes cause to lock the computer, the power light is on, the fan runs at the top.  Only way to unlock the computer is to hold the power button for 5 seconds.  I wait 15-20 seconds, then press the power button to wake it up.  Immediately the computer restarts to the top with solid power light and the fan turns at the top.  The only way to break this vicious circle must first pull the power cord to the rear, wait 30 seconds and plug it in again.  This time, when I turn on the computer it goes off just fine.

Is this a BIOS problem?  Please help as I don't have that much hair left.

    * Solved * Finally!  After 8 grueling days of pain staking agony and incessant attempts to fix this thing, I finally solved my problem.  I spent countless hours on the phone with HP support and nothing resolved.  That is: the problem with this computer locking up and sending the fan at high spin was due only with external speakers. When you reset the power system disconnected to boot the system, he would normally go for at least half a day before locking up.  I discovered that the speakers are older than 15 years. It's funny, these speakers worked fine on a desktop HP 2004 previous Pavilion running on Windows XP.  Now, it's static build-up that caused my death or something else?  As far as I know, it's that I'm a happy camper using headphones with a new system of HP that finally works.  Thank you to everyone who made suggestions.

  • HP Pavilion Slimline s5-1200z improvement of power supply

    Hello

I need to replace a power supply broken for the HP Pavilion Slimline s5-1200z Office I bought in June 2012. As I improved the memory of 8 GB 3 months ago, I would like to take this opportunity to improve to 400w 300w 220w power, if possible.

Unfortunately, I can't find any power supply suitable for the Pavilion Slimline s5 series, in-store or online. The only one I can find is the replacement of the part #633195-001 of HP on HP website. Any recommendations?

It is sold on eBay, and says it's an upgrade of 330w PSU for your model:

  • power switch flashes by intermittent but pavilion m1270 desktop don't dΘmarre

    Hello everyone

yesterday, I met the same problem, I had 2 years ago. The power of my office pavilion m1270 switch started flashing intermittently, but each start attempt failed. I had this problem also 2 years ago, then I opened the computer and cleaned. He was then apparently resolved, but only if I disconnect the electricity Office, IE I could turn off the sessions but it was preferable to not draw power (cable) in the case of going on holiday for example. If that happened, so I had to start pushing the power switch of the dozens of times until I got lucky and he started upward. But since yesterday it turn on at all. With the power cable plugged the switch blinks intermittently and pushing you hear 'click', but no start-up. Of course I opened and cleaned but no result

. . Maybe someone encountered the same problem and found a solution, know that I am not at all technical.

  • HP pavilion slimline 400: a problem about the upgrade card chart, power, and a new case

I have a hp pavilion slimline 400 and I want to upgrade the graphics card of it. However, the food is not enough for my new graphics card. The image is too large for this case. SO I decide to buy a new case and PS! Move all the thing inside the hp pavilion slimline 400 to a new case. But I heard someone say that this kind of PC can match the case that we can buy in the store and the cable of the PIN from those of food on the market do not correspond with the motherboard. CAN I really do that?

You will still need a case that supports the Μatx layout.  I/O back plate must be modded or replaced to adapt.  Most cases have both Μatx and ATX layout (dead end of pines).  For some time that this question of stitching was done.  These help?

  • HP Pavilion Slimline s3720f: what video card should I buy?

I want to add a new video card (not too expensive) for my old HP Pavilion Slimline s3720, but I do not know what video card to buy, because there are far too many choices. I know that the new card must be low profile with a half support so it can fit into the currently available in the motherboard slot. I hope that Conect my Dell UltraSharp 1708FP 17-inch LCD flat monitor VGA on this new card to get the best resolution and graphics. Can someone give me a recommendation indicating which card to buy? Please be specific. Thank you.

The slimelines should never require a lot of video.  Your 2008 model circa was Vista.  Updates drivers ended with WIN 7. It's a miracle you got WIN10 without drivers available is another story.  Another factor is the skinny 160W PSU. That limits your options if you have a.  The common consensus is that either.  added heat from a graphics card, the likely additonal to a new power supply really outweighed costs.

  • HP Pavilion Slimline s3315.uk graphical update

My children have a HP Pavilion Slimline s3315.uk but I must improve the graphics cards, but don't want to spend too much. I was wondering if the ATI Radeon HD4650 1 GB DDR2 VGA/DVI PCI Express can be a good option. Any ideas?

John, no, the HD 4650 requires too much power for your power supply unit (PSU).  It does not say in the specifications of the computer, but I think that the power supply is 180W to 220W.  The 4650 requires a minimum of 400 w to work properly.  In addition, the computer requires a low profile video card.

  • HP pavilion slimline s3632me graphic card problem

    It's my computer: http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?objectID=c01552288 & lang = to & cc = us & conte...

my graphics card has a fan that is not working, and I don't get any signal on my monitor after 20 minutes of start... so I decided to get a new graphics card which is better.

so I want to know what is the max graphics card that I can put in this computer and should I go for the same type (AC express graphics card) or get any type that can work with the computer?

Here are the specifications of your HP Pavilion Slimline s3632me desktop computer and its card mother M2N61-AR (Acacia). Based on the specifications, this model has a power of 160 watts, a graphics card NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GS PCIe x 16 HDMI and DVI - I outputs and integrated nVidia GeForce 6150SE graphics with a VGA output. Note that the discreet graphics card and the built-in graphics card is not usable at the same time.

You need to replace the graphics card NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GS PCIe x 16 with a x 16 low profile PCIe graphics card (the card must have a power system recommend assessment of 160 watts or less). All purchased card that has a higher recommended system power supply requirement will require the purchase of a new power supply, follow the recommendations in cards. Your computer's power supply is not a standard ATX power supply and can be difficult to find.
