  You can find out if 3D driveguard is installed by going to Device Manager, click to expand the category of peripheral system and then look for the HP Mobile Data Protection sensor.

  If you see the device listed, then you should be fine.

  Since the upgrade to windows 10 unit ACPI\HPQ6007 is listed as an unknown device no drivers available. I discovered that it was the accelerometer, responsible for the protection of the disc.

  And how is something as simple as this driver not compatile with the upgrade of windows 10, having left virtually all other programs intact?

  Your message said that you have a laptop HP g6, yet the hardware ID you posted (6007) is much more recent review of the HP 3D driveguard device.

  Are you sure that you have a g6?

  Because the 3D driveguard driver you need for a g6 would be for identifying material 0004.

  This is the necessary 3D driveguard driver for all g6 models.

  Can Hi anyone help me abit stuck on how to address this problem that I am having with my laptop.

  My laptop worked perfectly until last week, now everytime I turn on the laptop, I get an error message appears indicating that the Allcelerometer.St.exe application that can give me this error code (0xc000007b).

  Is anyway to recifty this issue? If yes how can I resolve this issue.

  Try the following.

  Open windows control panel, open programs and features, make a right click the entry for HP 3D DriveGuard and select uninstall.

  Note:  Don't worry if you get an error at this point, just wear)

  When this has completed, restart the laptop.

  When windows has reloaded, download and install the version of HP 3D DriveGuard on the following link.

  But in the Device Manager still missing something...

  Well I fixed it, but there was a bug in the installer 3D player (probably).

  The problem:

  During the installation of the player 3D Guard (which has been linked in the previous post), he has not installed the accelerometer sensor driver, so it didn't work.

  The work around:

  1. Unzip the installation file.
  2. Find the folder Windows 8.1 where the driver inf files. Install manually from the Device Manager.
  3. Restart the computer.
  4. The accelerometer sensor is now working. Cool.
  5. Reinstall the drive guard software 3D.
  6. Restart the computer.
  7. This medication is COOL!

  I would like to install an SSD or a mSata/m2 in my PCie slot (if I have one). The SSD is expected to replace my HARD drive, this could go in a caddy to replace my CD player.

  So, I want to be confirmed by the experts that my computer has a location free PCIe that supports the mSata and/or m.2 SSD? And if so, is this SATA II or III slot? There are chances that the installation of these will not void my warranty?

  And finally, how the 3 options compare to eachother?

  Road to SSD:

  -Advantages:

  + Availability (I have a 240GB 2.5 "SSD already) (not that big of a pro)

  -Disadvantages:

  + More work

  + Certainly void my warranty (I got the laptop last month)

  + 1 TB of data up to 240 GB to sacrifice space.

  mSATA/m.2 road:

  -Advantages:

  + Less work

  + Not to sacrifice data space

  -Disadvantages:

  + Might not be as stable/fast /...

  I honestly don't know much about this stuff, I just read an article that gave me the idea that something to do early in the spring. Please correct me if I have something wrong.

  What is the complete model number of your PC and what operating system is installed?

  You posted your question in the forum of desktop PC and I don't know any desktops that have support for the accelerometer as it is not necessary for a desktop PC, unless the user tends to pick up and drop.

  The accelerometer driver HP versions are called HP Protectsmart or 3D Driveguard.

  What this app is to park the drive heads hard when it detects a fall.

  It would probably save the hard drive in the case of a slight bump or a foot or, but nothing more than the fall, it would probably help.

  I recently bought this HP preconfigured. Have a very nice samsung SSD that I intend to use as your startup disk. I noticed that the manual shows the model I bought supports WSSD 32 GB disk cache, simply not included. If I had to use the second location on disk for the original 5400 RPM (with purchase of additional drive mounting kit), or choose any other drive to store the MSSD adjustable cache only works for the second disc of HD? With the primary drive is a Samsung 830, there is not need a slower cache. Experts out there I would like to know, Office PC tech, but read very little on the WSSD cache system.

  You say "...". the model I bought supports the WSSD 32 GB disk cache... "What you're talking about? There is NO cache WSSD to... it refers to the 32 GB mSATA drive, like any other SSD. Simply install your Samsung in the main Bay and move the original drive to the secondary drive Bay. You may / will have problems with the help of HP with the SSD recovery disks. Your best bet is for the original of a fresh State of the factory image drive and restore the image on the SSD.

I downloaded the latest OS for the phone and the latest version of iTunes on my PC and have tried all USB ports several times. I also reinstalled drivers USB to the PC.  The phone is recognized on the computer of a friend under Win 7. All shows when I plug it on mine is a page showing the 'Apple iPhone' folder display of storage internal (2.18 GB free of 14.7 GB). Troubleshooting in devices and printers, where the phone displays as "Not specified Apple iPhone" generates a message saying that "Apple iPhone is an older USB device and may not work with USB 3.0 and plug it into a USB 2.0 port." But when I use USB 2.0 (I tried several times using each of the three USB ports on my PC), troubleshooting the error message says "Apple iPhone won't work correctly with USB 3.0." This seems to be a recent problem, since in March 2016, I could spend a few songs from my PC to my phone using iTunes.

  I wish I had some ideas of people who have experienced this problem, I find to be a more frustrating one.

  Well, you aren't the only one. This just freakin happened to me. I spent the last three hours with apple and Windows supports. Now I'm reinstalling Windows 10 by last resort of Windows support councils. I got the same message USB. In iTunes, under devices something removed my 5s and the iPad. But it remains 6 s wife. I tried my computers 2-(SS) 3.0 ports and 1 port 2.0 ordinary. I tried all four thinners cables I have. I will let you know the result of the Windows reinstall.

• HP Pavilion dv7: unable to connect to the Internet

  I can't access the Internet via ethernet or wireless. It seemed to happen after an update of Windows 10.

  Other computer and android phone can access the wireless. When I click on the wireless icon, I see different networks, including mine. However, it is said, "No Internet, secure." I ran a diagnosis, saying that the wireless network adapter and the wired network adapter does not work. I tried to update the drivers, but to no avail.

  I remove this update. I have HP Pavilion dv7, produces none. QJ799AV #ABA. It seems that there are no drivers for Windows 10.

  I had my Pavilion dv8 for awhile.  I started having problems with the slider treble/bass control. He would sporadically pop-up and begin to change the treble or bass at irregular intervals. He also unplug randomly my wireless connection. I tried to solve the problem by downloading a driver, but the problem remains. At first, it was just a little annoying, fixed by clicking the mouse or pressing the upper button of the internet, but now it of REALLY boring, popping up even as I write this post. But there is no driver for Windows 10. Someone at - it solutions?

  I'm new to the forum, so I hope I posted in the right place.

  My product: HP Pavilion Notebook - 15-ab045sa (ENERGY STAR)

  I have all the gestures of touchpad usual work (three stroke of finger etc).  However, the recent to THE introduced a new gesture to switch virtual desktops. I was really looking forward to this update, but this gesture does not work! I tried to reinstall the update with erase everything and it still does not work!

  I don't understand why it does not work as I have a touchpad of accuracy and all other gestures of work except this new! Also even if some gestures of work (for example three finger swipe), I don't think that win 10 recognizes the touchpad of precision like under settings of the mouse and Trackpad, what it does not say that I have a touchpad of precision and so does me no options to change what are the gestures, as it should.

  I have the Synaptics TouchPad of SMBus 19.2.11.38 driver (21/07/2016).

  Would really appreciate your help as I was really looking forward to the new gesture switch virtual desktops.
