Update automatic problem

Hello

Today, during the filming of the photos, I started having a problem with my autofocus t4i. He started to use only the point of the extreme right to automatic update. Any help will be greatly apreciated.

This could be as simple as restore back to automatic AF point selection.  Go to page 97 of your manual for instructions.

Y at - it something that I can change the subject: config to change this behavior?
    Thanks in advance.

Firefox has yet to set the focus in the area of browser if you click on a tab.

Only with very old browser versions you could set the focus to a tab by clicking a tab.

This problem is probably caused by an extension.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the start safe mode window or make changes.
  • Each update (automatic) lost all my passwords (and existing 'aid' is a nightmare)

I read a LOT of other people who have this problem, and I've seen no good answer. (Answers require several days of analysis, and I don't have much time.)

Whenever Firefox updates automatically, it loses most of my passwords!

Yes, I read that there is a 'profile' blah blah blah. But does that mean that I have to go through all kinds of loops, when this automatic update occurs?

If so, I gladly leave Firefox and switch to another browser.

I never had this problem with any browser, never with Safari, I left only because he did not work with many websites.

    I use a Mac, OS 10.6.8

    Thank you

Why not update manually? If you do it this way, the profile is not in use when the update takes place, so nothing in it should be corrupted.

  • Windows Update automatic manual resets after you apply updates

We have several servers which are all Windows 2003 SP 2, all of which have the value Windows update manually install updates.  Recently (in the last 2 weeks) after that updates have been applied, we found that servers are now updated automatically at a specific time every day and this has caused servers to restart automatically after the updates are applied.   In a production environment that works 24 / 7 you can imaging that have a production server restarts without warning can cause major problems.

  • Vista Home Prem - problems since installation on 26 August updated - USB problems and everything deleted before the update restore points

I have a Dell XPS 430 quad-processor. Receipt of the August 26 as update automatic updates. Since the computer was restarted after autoupdates, I have problems. Biggest problem is when I switch to another port my 4 ports KVM Trendnet TK - 407K and back on my Dell computer - the computer is blocked and the video is all garbled. My only recourse is to start the computer cold. After the first time it happened, I knew immediately updates, so I went in my restore points to restore back before the update. When I did restore bluescreened, but I was unable to capture data as computer restarted itself and get into the routine of starting fix. Difficulty of startup said it could not solve my problem.

When I returned to restore to try to restore once again, I found that all my restore points have been removed. I found a utility called the shadow on the web Explorer and installed. He seems to find all my data restore point on the recovery D: drive, but Windows is not seeing them.  I should also mention, usb-wise, given that these updates have been applied, my Canon digital camera is not recognized when I hang it in one of the USB ports.

Don't know what to do at this point. If I stay on the port on my computer using the KVM switch, my PC at home works well. Unfortunately, it is not realistic that I need to do my job in two laptops that are also connected to the switch.

I'm tempted to just delete all the updates that have been installed on 8/26 to see if that helps - esp KB973879 I read on this patch causing a lot of problems with other computers.  Another thing that I have not tried is to use the restore from a command prompt application.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you!

  • I can not open hotmail attachments (updated Automatic Windows Vista, IE8, activated and updated running).

I have a new HP computer and I can not open hotmail attachments (updated Automatic Windows Vista, IE8, activated and updated running).  When you try to open an attachment, the bar downstairs quickly moves to the right, but never appears a dialog box asking if you want to open or save the file.  Error message I get when I try to resolve it with the suggested steps indicates "module"wintrust.dll"was loaded but the call to DllRegisterServer failed with error code 0x80070005.  I tried to do the same command prompt, but still not received the same error.  Thanks for help anything.

    Hi Paul,.

Have you tried to download an attachment after you turn off your antivirus?
I had a problem in the past where the system was performed at Trend Micro Internet Security and Web content filtering (I think that's what it was called) was preventing attachments from download.
I would like to know what are your results!

  • What is the Adobe Flash Player update false problem?

According to the warnings, I get from Intego VirusBarrier, "Mac users are once again being encouraged to exercise caution when installing updates for Adobe Flash Player after another update of fake was discovered to infect computers."

This is the second time I have been informed that Adobe Flash Player does not play well with others.

Right now I'm looking for the advice of those who have more information and advice, then I could get.

What, if any, actions to ensure that the Adobe Flash Player is not a problem but a useful tool.

    Thank you

    Hello

It malicious actors area out there who take the Flash Player installer legitimate and pack it with malware, or simply to accommodate a virus/malware/etc to install/update and call Flash Player or some other permutation of this.  When people perform an Internet search these sites to install Flash Player, as well as of adobe.com are returned in the search results.  The people knowingly or not, go to the non-adobe.com site a download an installer of Flash Player potentially malicious or false who infects his system or click on a notification to update Flash Player fake/malicious window (see this article for an example: https://isc.sans.edu/forums/diary/Fake+Adobe+Flash+Update+OS+X+Malware/20693/).  Many of these false installers have been stigmatized for alike to official and legitimate Flash Player installer.  If you think that you may have used a fake installer of Flash Player install Flash Player, private message me the link to the site where you downloaded the installer from.  Adobe will actively after these malicious actors to remove fake/malicious installers.

If you need to update Flash Player (latest version is 21.0.0.213) go to https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer to download the installation program.  Alternatively, you can opt in the background updates and Flash Player automatically downloads and installs an update within 24 hours of the update is available.  Updates to opt in the background follow these steps:

    • If Flash Player is already installed, launch system preferences > Flash Player > tab updated

      • Select "allow Adobe to install updates automatically (recommended)
    • If Flash Player is not installed, go to https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer and download the installer
      • During installation, when you are prompted to select an update option, select "allow Adobe to install updates automatically (recommended)

  • My copy of Firefox (currently 15.0.1) is updated automatically but did not, so since August 2012, how can I fix?

The "Restart to update" button shows and did a restart, but there is no update.
I checked under 'OPTIONS': in the section "Advanced" tab Update 'automatically install"is selected. "Warn me if this turns off modules" & "Use a background service to install updates" is both checked.
I can download and install the latest version of Firefox, but how can I automatically keep it up-to-date?

    Hello
Thank you. That would explain it.

  • my profile to update automatically when I add bookmarks etc.

I read on the profile and where to find it. It updates automatically every time that I add new bookmarks etc AND how should I back up my profile on a key whenever I have add bookmarks etc to the profile please. I just changed for Firefox of IE8.

    Thank you
    Pingu70

I know how to find my profile, it will automatically update each time that I add new bookmarks etc AND how should I back up my profile on a stick:

The files in your profile are updated When you close Firefox, and your backups/restores/renames/deletes of files must be made when Firefox is down. Once a day early morning when Firefox is running, your favorites are saved by Firefox in the bookmarkbackups folder.

You do not want to save your bookmarks, whenever you have changed the (at least I don't). You can create your own backup of your bookmarks to your USB drive at any time through Firefox and restore this backup at any time through Firefox perhaps half a minute to make either once you press the button.

What I really recommend that when Firefox is declining would backup not only your current profile, but all your Firefox profiles and that should fit on most USB sticks that you can buy today.

    Profile - backup:
You should support your Firefox profiles, there is not a lot of data, and you should be back up frequently. There is much more data to other applications in your Windows user library and you should be backup data there, too.

When you back up all your data to external hard drive (500 GB to 3 TB) user profiles Firefox would be included.

But it's about Firefox. For Firefox, a USB key would probably suffice to backup one or more profiles.

backup of your Firefox profiles (the following is all on one line)

    xcopy C:\Users\< user name>/d/h/y/c/q/s \AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\*.* g:\profiles\*.*

If you want to carry your bookmarks with refer you to them you would not use the backup .json because it is only for restoration with a complete replacement of your bookmarks. If you want something you can see elsewhere that you might want to put a file to bookmarks exported on your USB key as well.

Don't know if you know how to use XCOPY to a .bat file or not, but that's how I got all my backups made with applications not least not applications that use files running. The following will not help much if you are not familiar with them.

For those who may not know how to find their profile just type on: support support on the address bar, and then click the "Open folder containing" in the troubleshooting information page. If Firefox does not work, you may need to use other means.
