HP pavillion500-515na: incorrect warranty information

My office is showing my warranty as expired which is clearly not the case as long as my warranty certificate States 2018

I contacted HP, shortly after I bought it, April of last year to tell them it was wrong at the time, showing only the standard warranty.they 1 year said they would update the appropriate date 3 years so.

I have another spent 45 minutes on the phone today only to tell again! to provide proof of purchase and proof of warranty. is it not enough that I provided the guarantee certificate number?

Forgive me, but it is a no brainer to enter the details of the security in a database, they say that it is not that simple, I beg to differ.

I just bought an another convertible of computer laptop x 2 HP with an additional 1 year warranty and I expect to have to go through all this again.

If the email I sent to prove the purchase etc. does not resolve the situation where is my next port of call?

    I bought this RAM in 2004, but it must still be guaranteed because it costed more than 600 EUR
    Rams of Kingston in this price range is guaranteed throughout. But I couldn't find the warranty information on this memory on the IBM Web site, nor on the Lenovo Web site.

    Now I know why I never got an answer on my Question for weeks. I get a reply by mail. Just write Lenovo: no thank you guaranteed.

    I find it really bad that a RAM IBM that has cost more than 600 EUROS lasted only 4 years and after 4 years, it is defective. This shows to me that IBM has a very poor quality. IBM Rams are worse quality than No name Rams and they have options to guarantee worse than No name Rams but they cost 10 times more than all the other Rams. NEVER BUY SOMETHING FROM IBM/LENOVO AGAIN!

  • Pavilion 15 p158sa: Incorrect warranty start date

    Like so many others on this forum, my new laptop HP Pavilion has bad warranty start date.

    The laptop was purchased only on 11 January 2015. However, the warranty start date is 11/10/2014.

    Of course, I'd like it corrected.

  • HP deskjet printer 3630: change the warranty information

    I have just bought and install the printer above but before I could enter all the details of the guarantee it crashed.  I now have an installation of the printer with the warranty bad information (bad purchase date, coordinated personal etc.), and I don't know how to fix this.  When I try to get it is resolved I'm unable to move forward because I don't have a product Code and the number of such contact and impressions are in German.

    How can I get HP response in the United Kingdom because I stopped to get anywhere without this product Code - can't find it on the printer.  I have the serial number and model.

    It is the first product HP owned and go round in circles.

    Any help much appreciated.

    If you go to the All Music Guide (which is used by WMP) database, and the information is incorrect as well, you should be able to fix this here.

    Also, if you make corrections through the Find Album Info, this information could be used to correct the database in the future.

    Usually, if your laptop is dead and it was covered by warranty if the Toshiba service partner should check the unit and must repair.
    In my opinion, the same parts and devices must be used and replaced.
    But if you want to get more details on the warranty and repair procedures, so you can ask the Toshiba service partner in your country.

    The standard one year warranty is international. The AppleCare extended may or may not be used other than the country of purchase. It depends on the country

    Before contacting the HP customer service once again, I thought I'd see what people here have to say.

    My laptop broke a few months back so I contacted HP and they fixed it.

    Then a few weeks later he broke again the same way but now its worse & the shell of the laptop is broken at the fault.

    This brings me to my questions.

    Can I get a refund or a new replacement or they will just try it back?

    Anyone else just experienced this process & how it happened for you?.

    I am hopeing to get a refund or a new replacement because I lost all confidence in the portable I & if they fix it it will activate the brakes most likely again in a few weeks when the warranty is up.

    Depends on where you live, some U.S. States have laws of computer lemmon, contact your State representative to find out what your options are.

    HP will fix it no doubt again and again.

  • Incorrect warranty period

    I bought a new Tablet HP Signature of flow on the Microsoft Store online April 1. I registered it with HP shortly after I have received. Now the audit online guaranteed HP tool says it was registered on 10 November 2014 and the warranty expires December 9, 2015.

    Won't the warranty HP system or have I been sold a tablet of second hand by Microsoft / HP that someone else has already registered?

    My situation was identical to yours.  When checking the warranty on HP site I found my new Tablet just receipt-of-MS-store had a date in service date as well as yours.  I called HP and has advised that the date was the date of manufacture and the HP guy said he would change that date to the date of registration for me with a start date of warranty from the date of registration.  He couldn't give me a rational answer as to why they would put the date '' made '' as the beginning of the warranty.  Maybe they didn't have not a field "date indeed" in the records.
