  Hello

  Unplug the USB cable and follow the steps below to restart the spooler service.

  Click Start (Windows logo) > > all programs > > Accessories > >

  Right-click on command prompt and open it as administrator (choose Run as administrator)

  Enter the below command in the black window and click on enter key...

  net stop spooler

  Who will stop the spooler service.

  Then enter the command below and hit enter key to start the spooler service

  net start spooler

  That will remove the current impression comment and things in the print queue.

  Press the Windows key and R on the key board to open the run window (click Start > > run).
  
  In the run window, type services.msc, and then click Ok.
  
  Which will open the services window.
  
  From there, double click on the print spooler service. Which opens a new window.
  
  Click the Stop button to stop, and then click Start to restart the spooler service.
  
  Make sure that the startup type is: automatic status and Service: started
  
  Click apply and then click Ok to close the services window.

  Given that the problem occurs when you run a copy, I hope that the problem is the printer hardware not the software on the computer.

  You have the printer connected directly to a wall outlet or is this a surge protector or power bar? Even if you have used a surge protector/power bar this whole time and you feel that this is not the case, please connect to a wall outlet so that we can eliminate the source of energy as the primary cause.

  I replaced my Photosmart 2570 all-in-One with Photosmart 5520. I can print to all programs except the HP Image Zone. It shows the right default printer. • HP Photosmart 5520: HP Photosmart 5520 suddenly will not print or scan

  Suddenly is no longer able to scan or print on HP Photosmart 5520. With the scan function I use scanning to e-mail, but, after long 'Preparation scanning' on the screen of the printer, the error message "temporarily unavailable.  "Please try again later". With the impression that I use Google Cloud Print (from an Acer Chromebook) and all that happens is that the demand to print everything ends up in a queue of print jobs.  No error message appears on the printer screen. The copy function works fine.  Wireless network printing results are very good.  The printer worked fine for over a year.  Can anyone help?  Thanks in advance.

  It's all very mysterious, but it seems to have corrected itself.  Finally, the 'out of paper' error message appeared yesterday (there were many), I pushed in the paper and things started to print again.  I was also able to rescan.  Not sure if she was no longer a problem of Google or what but we are in service again.

  Until last night I only had intermittent problems, using the scan on HP Photosmart 5520 function.  Then all of a sudden not analyze or print work - message there.  MacAir displays the RED DOT printer offline, by default.  The printer has remained non-connected.  I restarted MacAir.  I have turned off HP 5520, unplugged the wire to plug in a normal machine (of an extension of protection against overvoltages).  On reboot I have always run.  I then tried wireless live - without success.  Then, I removed the 5520 HP of the MacAir intending to reinstall.  To attempt to reinstall Mac Air is unable to find a printer.  The HP 5520 wireless network test results show no problem.

  Please notify.

  Problem solved.

  I turned Mac Air, printer and router off and restarts.  It worked.  The problem was the router!

  I have a Photosmart 5510 new, which was working fine, then suddenly stopped printing black.  Replace the cartridge and still nothing.  Prints fine colour, but not black.  No error message, just jumps print anything in black.  Excluded bone by the attempt at analysis and still nothing.

  Yay! I'm happy now. I did the thing to chat online with technical support and that's what I got: on the front screen of the printer, press the arrow to the right, and you should see an icon "Setup." Press on that. Then press tools, then scroll down to "Clean print head." Press the key. When it's done it spits out a test page and voila! It now prints. I hope that this works for some of you all!

  Hello Irene,.

  When the printer prints, you will see a small printer icon to the taskbar (lower-right). Click it and you'll see the files that are printing. If you view the document, please remove it from the print queue.

  If this is not enough, then proceed as follows.

  1. type Services.msc in the box Start of search and press on enter.

  2. Locate the print spooler and right click on the service and then click stop.

  3. when the Print Spooler service is stopped, go to C:\WINDOWS\System32\spool\PRINTERS and delete all the files mentioned in the record. This will clear the current print jobs.

  4. once the files are deleted, return to the Services window and start the service print spooler.

• C4580 won't stop print a Document

  My Photosmart C4580 keeps a previous print job printing.  The print job is not yet on line more, but it constantly displays the same document.  The display does not mention all the mistakes, and I can't find any trace of this print job in the queue.  My Mac OS X 10.6.7 works and the printer connected via USB.

  I'm almost certain, that there was no matter what other discussions of the forum with this problem; I used the search, although hastily.  This printer was a mess and market for me, but this problem is new.

  I guess you made a start cold on your computer, since the problem began.  My next suggestion would be to reset the printing system.  However, this will eliminate your presets.  If you can take notes on any you want to redo before continuing.  The HP Web site instructions are here.

  I recently bought this printer. I've set up to print wireless. I installed and uninstalled twice b/c after about three times wireless printing, it stops wireless printing. Here is the order of events.

  (1) install the software according to the instructions

  (2) test page wireless printing, that always works

  (3) other printing things the same day wireless (works fine)

  (4) try to print something wireless as 2-3 days later

  (5) it does not. Get message of the staing HP Solution Center which is obvious: Document cannot print (duh). Through troubleshooting (Windows help). It tells me to make sure that it is the default printer (it is) and then check if it is online. It is usually not. So I choose to do the printer online (which is a sub-question, and I'm sure is related to the problem, why it keeps automatically be disconnected?)

  (6) attempt to print

  (7) message appears saying that HP Photosmart C309g-m offline (Solution Center)

  (8) read troubleshooting tips (HP Solution Center), which tells me to connect via USB to print (which annoys me because there is no available solution that tells you how to restore a wireless communication between the router/computer/printer)

  (9) which I did the first time around, but find that when I connect using the USB, it prints well. Any attempt to return to wireless printing is reflected in steps 7 and 8

  (10) check the connection of the application printer wireless network printing. Indicates that the printer is properly connected wireless. I know that my laptop is on the same network b/c that's the only one I have and my internet connection is not interrupted somehow.

  (11) get frustrated, uninstall and reinstall the printer

  Repeat step 2.

  This has happened twice already, and I bought it so that I COULD print wireless. He must be troublemaker solution Quen uninstall then reinstall the printer each time that happens (up to once a week).

  (3) how do I keep the communication between the computer laptop and printer (and I assume that the router) to go Bye Bye?

  About what you suggest, the IP address remained the same throughout the facilities and absorption.

  However, I have thought of it. I guess that the wireless connection on the printer. I went back to the office and looked at my network settings. I needed to "find" my wireless signal. The first time that I've refreshed my wireless name does not show upward. I refreshed again and POOF! He was there! So I chose and put in my password (I think that his WPA encryption). When he finished the wireless network connection, it is printed on a network status page. Given that I printed this page so many times already I happened to have an old on my desk. I noticed that the IP address is the same (although today, I uninstalled and reinstalled again) on both forms. Anyway, when I returned to my computer (which is in my living room) HP Help Center had a giant green check mark on it and said that the printer is connected. Then I printed something and it worked! YAY! It would be great if HP put in information on the way to reconnect wireless when you get this message "the printer is not connected. Who knows maybe I needed to evacuate to understand! Laughing out loud

  So for everyone out there, if this happens to you:

  1) go to your printer

  (2) select the arrow to see the next menu. (it should be on the right side of the LCD screen, it looks like a triangle on the side)

  (3) select Setup--> network--> network wireless assistant

  (4) the printer will start to search for wireless networks

  (5) choose your network (or the network you are using...  It should be the same as your computer/laptop is on)

  (6) if it is password protected, enter the password/password

  (7) your printer will print a network status page.

  (8) your computer should "recognize" the printer on the network itself. Your HP help window can display a large green check mark (it's a good thing!)

  (9) print what you want!

  * Note I guess that you may need to do this each time the printer goes into sleep mode. Its not that boring!

• Photosmart 5520 all-in-one printer

  I have had this printer for about a year.  No problem whatsoever first.

  Recently, when I try and print a document, print a page entirely and the second page island in the part, then it stops.  Then sometimes it pushes on a white sheet.   Print queue displays "error".

  I can get around that when printing the word by printing one page at a time.  Unfortunately I can't select individual pages when you try to print an e-mail and also, if an email is on a long page, I get only the last page of the mail printed in its entirety.  It's so irritating.  To move the ability to print several pages, back to back, MultiPage for a sheet to a little to get a page is not acceptable.

  Suggestions, please, on how to solve this problem?

  Thanks for your suggestions.  I didn't need to try an any of them after using the utility HP Print and Scan doctor.  Have kept a note of what you proposed in case the problem recurs.
