  Looking at the specifications of your computer, I would say that your RAM is officially agree but weak.  In my view, 10.11 requires 4GB but minimum would be better with 6 +. Your disk space becomes low for any use of the modern computer.  I have it would not get any lower than Similarly if you stick to 10.6, and you may need more to actually perform an upgrade.

  Your problem resembles a corrupted memory card. Recovery software may be able to recover some of your photos in return, but be sure not to use or format that card until you have tried an amd of recovery either successful or abandoned.
