  Thanks for the reply, expecting not one, but what you say is all that we need to buy another printer if we did all the "fixes", etc... etc. you know that take a printer to a repair shop will cost more

• Photosmart C7280 all in one printer keeps giving me expired ink cartridge warning

  My Photosmart C7280 all in one printer Guard giving me expired ink cartridge warning.  The cartridge has expired, but I want to continue to use it as it still has ink.  Is it possible to turn off these warnings to be boring?  I can't print until I have to recognize them!

  @ CoolBreeze202 - I'm sorry that you are having this problem with the ink cartridges and the ink expiration error message.  You can try to clean the contacts on the cartridge and the contacts inside the machine to ensure that built up on the parts are not the source of the error message. Pages 163 and 164 of the user manual will show a manual cleanup process.

  I would also do a hard reset to the printer to try to clear the error message and return the printer to a known working state. No user settings are lost with a hard reset.  Here is a link that will show you how to do a hard reset on this machine.

  Hey Spider! First of all welcome on the forum.

  I recommend to remove all ink cartridges, disconnect the USB cable from the computer that connects to the printer and then turn off the printer completely by unplugging the power cord. Then, restart your computer. Turn on the printer but leave that he disconnected from the computer. After that he ended his power over the cycle forward and reinsert the ink cartridges in the printer and make sure their seat correctly.

  After you have all the cartridges in the printer correctly, then connect it to the computer. See if that fixes the problem. If not post back with no results.

  I understand that when you print from your Windows 8.1 computer to your HP Photosmart e-all-in-one printer D110a print jobs are coming in white. I would like to help you today with this printing problem. When you print from your computer, some files are sent to your printer as "image" files If your printer 'think' it prints an image, color ink may be used to enrich or to 'do' the dark.   I have a Photosmart C8180 All-in-One printer that powers completely in the middle of printing, wasting time, paper and ink.   Unfortunately, I have not found a solution to fix my HP C8180. The 800 number only referred me to another number (866-234-1377) where someone in India tried to sell me a phone support or a new printer. Phone support will not fix a burned capacitor and the new printers HP scan slides. Not to mention the $100. new ink I'll have to eat if I can't solve this problem.

  I have a problem with my HP Photosmart Plus all-in-One Printer series - B209a printer.

  It prints a picture by using too much magenta.

  When starting the printer, I got a message saying that I had to replace the magenta toner with a new one. I did as instructed. I printed a new document, but it came out in magenta.

  Even if the other cartridges were not empty and yet I replaced with new ones, thinking that maybe the ink dries up because I have not used the printer for a few months now. I used all original HP XL cartridges.  Subsequently, I printed testpages 5 before you print my picture.

  The printer uses all colors now, but it uses too much magenta to print my photo.

  I used the printer for several years now and never had this problem before.

  Is this a problem that can be solved?
