HP Probook 430 G2: HP Probook 430 G2 - HW Bluetooth not detected on Device Manager

Hello team HP,

I just bought HP Probook 430 G2 and using the Windows 7 Entriprise 64-bit SP1 operating system.

Why bluetooth HW is not detected in Device Manager, I know that this laptop has built-in bluetooth.

Please kindly help.

Thank you

You are the very welcome.

You are right.  This wireless card has built in bluetooth.

See if this driver installation get the bluetooth to work.

If this is not the case, check the BIOS to see if there is a setting to turn bluetooth on or off.

If this isn't the case, install it and see if it detects the bluetooth radio and turn it on using the software.

Once you turn on the BT, you can either go to the use of the software or uninstall.

If none of the works above, I suggest that you contact HP technical support and submit a case under the guarantee pension, because I think that there is something wrong with the wireless card.

Hello, try to hard rest your laptop (remove the battery and ac adapter and pressed the power button 20 sec, simply plug in the power adapter and you start a laptop computer), and then press F10 to access the bios and 'restore the default value' and "save changes and exit" ===> ok else try to install Hp softpaq Download Manager (it will check alls missed drivers and their installation) : http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=321957&prodSeriesId=5060880&prodNameId=5060882&swEnvOID=4059&swLang=13&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=ob-105327-1 And if the same issue, try to check the wireless antenna cables or test with another wlan mini card of the same model (you find the link bellow who remove and replace this part) : http://h20464.www2.hp.com/results.htm?SID=5060880&MEID=C2E018CF-081B-479F-A6A0-DCE8406A2623 Best Regards, Wajdi Engineer HP GS1 and CE Team

  • HP Probook 450 G1: Windows 8 HP recovery disks has not detected

    Hello

In the hope of someone can help me. I recently had a problem due to what I have to perform a recovery using HP RECOVERY discs [I ordered it] I don't have the HP Recovery Manager or the recovery of microsoft. So I have to do only through HP recovery disks.

If his sudden has not detected in my laptop. I hit the bottom of the hard drive, I can feel that it is rotating. When I double clicked on it. It appears that I have to insert the disc. [Although I have inserted]. I wiped also DVDs with a cloth dry go with stripes. I tested on my PC it detected [of course it won't work because it is not HP PC].

I also diagonsised the hard drive [wide test] component, it has demonstrated that it meets the test. I tested both with other CD/DVD games. It works very well.

I hope you got my problem.

    Thank you

    Hello

Thanks for posting in the HP Support forum.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but from your description, I understand that the HP Probook 450 G1 does not detect the recovery DVDs. However, the other CDs/DVDs work fine and the recovery (at least detected) on another PC media.

I understand that you need to recover, but despite this, Windows starts correctly now? What is the problem you can get you to try to recover? In Winows, recovery disks are recognized?

To be honest, I don't know why it is not detected, but there are some things you can try:

-Boot in the BIOS and disable secure boot + turn on Legacy mode

    Details > > http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Operating-System-and-Recovery/The-selected-boot-device-failed-Press-enter-to-continue/m-p/5730515

    Details > > http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03653226

-Try to boot from the media of recovery of the DVD (first is the one that is re. OS - I see, you should have 2 recovery DVDs - one for the OS, one for the drivers).

keep hitting the Esc key (such as tap-tap-tap).

This should open a HP Boot Menu. Choose F9 to open the boot options. Select the USB drive as boot option.

I would like to know if it works for you.

  • HP ProBook 6440 b: update Bluetooth module - is it possible?

    Hi all

I have a HP Probook 6440 b 10 Windows running. It has a bluetooth module with the manufacturer 537921-001 which is Bluetooth 2.1. Is it possible to improve it with HP ProBook bluetooth module from the manufacturer of 6475 b 655792-001 which is Bluetooth 4.0? I looked at images of the module, the two and they look almost identical... It will work?

    Thanks in advance

Good news, I bought the bluetooth module I mentioned above and it worked perfectly. The interface is the same, the Device Manager it recognized when I booted up the laptop and then install the driver... and all together. Thank you.

  • Bluetooth not working not not probook 6560 b

I have a HP ProBook 6560 problem b.  Product number - XU052UT #ABA, who is having a problem with Bluetooth.  It seems that theunit comes with Bluetooth, I made sure that the Bluetooth feature is
running, but I can't do anything with Bluetooth.

Maybe, but unless you see a Bluetooth device in alphabetical order in the Device Manager, it doesn't have Bluetooth.

You can also check the BIOS where it needs to be included if it is present.

  • ProBook 6570b: screen brightness works do not, the unknown device on PCI

    Hello

I have a Probook 6570 b with processor i5 here. He is running on W7 x 64 professional. As in all computers, we decided to replace the hard drive for an SSD. After replacing the hard drive and reinstallig W7 and drivers, there is a problem that I can't fix. It seems that I can't get the Fn keys for brightness screen work. The others work, volume gives a nice popup, evenso buttons additional display.

Unplug the power supply makes the screen dim brightness. Who works. In the energy configuration screen, I can also adjust the screen brightness properly. Only the driver for F9 and F10 does not work.

I don't know if it's related, but in Device Manager, I get an unknown device on a PCI bus. I have not been successful in finding drivers for this one as well. In the detailed tab, it says: * HPQ6000

    Thanks for responding!

    Hello:

The 6000 HPQ needs this driver...

I can't give you the graphics driver because your laptop can come with 2 different graphic configurations.

  • HP Probook 6465b: Broadcom 4313gn does not work after the upgrade to Windows 10

My laptop is HP Probook 6465b (model 2012) it came with Win 7 Pro pre-installed.

I upgraded Win 10 and after that a Wi - Fi connection does not work. Then I tried the new facility, but it's the same thing.  I have come back to Win 7, but I would like to upgrade Win 10 if I can get the WiFi adpter for work.  My laptop otherwise works fine and it is not that old so I am confused why this wi - fi adapter gives me grey hair.

    Here is what happened:

Just after upgading wi - fi works very well until the first stop. After reboot, free WiFi does not work and there is no wi - fi adapter in Device Manager. However, it's there, but it is hidden.

I tried freezing and relocation of the map and I downloaded the latest drivers from HP Support, but I can't get the adapter to work.

To get the internet to work I plugged USB wi - fi adapter and suddenly the WiFi Broadcom card started working also. She even worked after unplugging the wi - fi USB adapter but after reboot internal wi - fi adapter was missing again well (hidden and does not), it is too compligated to do each time and she even does not work every time, just every now and then.

    Any suggestions?

Please install the driver it works with the Windows 10

What you need is the ACPI (advanced configuration protocol interface) driver for the installed processor. You can get that manufacturers are supported Web site on the processor. Intel Download Center is here.

    Hello, gentlemen:

I've been looking on this issue and the problem you are experiencing, it is that the driver files do not contain the & Subsys secondary ID for the card reader (2393197B).

This is why the driver is not installed.

I did a search of the forum and another person who had ID.

David has provided the driver and the person never anwered one way or the other.

In any case, I believe that there is a problem with the hardware with the card reader because here is the list of caught IDS supported by versions of the driver that I could find.

It took a while to browse a few files, but there is no drivers in the 4 or so MS # files that I looked through this full support of ID.

It's in the folder Driver2, jmcr_hp file of configuration information.  I keep my message below this list of ID.

The only suggestion I can offer would be to add this ID to the list and see what happens.

Copy and paste your ID to the list in this file as follows... then save the file and select as David suggested.

    %DEV_2393.DeviceDesc% = JM, PCI\VEN_197B & DEV_2393 & SUBSYS_2393197B

If it does not, unfortunately, I don't have any other ideas for you to try.

I think that something has gone wrong in the installation of windows, either with the hardware itself.

We will reinstall the internal keyboard drivers and check.

    a. click Start, type Control Panel in the search box, press enter, click System, click Device Manager, click on keyboard.
    b. you should find the internal keyboard part as well as any external keyboard used.
    c. right-click on the keyboard integrated in the list, click on uninstall.
    d. unplug the external keyboard.
    e. restart the computer and check if the keyboard internal works.

    Hello

Try disabling the startup of Windows 10 hybrid - you can do the following.

Open settings and select System.  Select food and sleep, and then click additional power settings - in the next window, click on "Choose what the power button" in the left pane.

In the next window, click on "Change settings that are currently unavailable" (close), then Remove the check mark from the box against 'Turn on a quick start (recommended) '.  Click on the button Save the settings, and then close windows open and stop the laptop by right clicking on the icon in Start Menu, select (Admin) command prompt and click 'Yes' to the uac prompt.

Type (or copy and paste) the following command (including spaces) and click Enter.

    Shutdown /s /t 0

Start the laptop and let Windows take over completely for a few minutes before checking if it is now shut down properly in the Start Menu.

If this has fixed the problem, it may be useful by turning the quick start back on - sometimes simply remove and re-create the file will solve the problem.

    Kind regards

    DP - K
