I imagine the frustration you feel when you are unable to use the Bluetooth wireless headset.

The problem may be with the Bluetooth adapter or with the device itself.

1. have you checked the device to another computer?

2. What is the model of the unit?

3 are you sure you've done the discoverabledevice?

How to make a discoverable Bluetooth device varies with the devices. If you are unable to find how to make it discoverable, contact the manufacturer.

I suggest you follow the steps mentioned below:

Method 1:

Check the settings to make sure that this computer can detect the Bluetooth device.

a. open the Control Panel by clicking the Start button, then Control Panel

b. in the search panel box command, type Bluetooth, and then click Change Bluetooth settings

(c) in the Bluetooth settings dialog box, click the Options tab

d. to make your computer discoverable to Bluetooth devices, select the check box for allow Bluetooth devices to find this computer.

e. to allow Bluetooth devices to connect to your computer, select the check box for allow Bluetooth devices to connect to this computer.

Method 2:

Run the fixit:

http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/980396

Method 3: Run the hardware troubleshooter

See the site:

Open the hardware and devices Troubleshooter

If the problem persists, I suggest you to contact the manufacturer.

  • Bluetooth headset does not work with Windows 7 - device is detected.

I have a Dell XPS 1530, which had Vista 32 bit running. I have recently upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate. Ever after that the Bluetooth of DELL BH 200 headset does not work with my laptop.

The bluetooth adapter and the device is fine since I'm able to search and find all bluetooth devices, including my helmet. However, I get a yellow exclamation on the headset under devices. The headset can be paired with other devices such as my mobile and works very well.

I tried to update the drivers and reinstall the device and the adapter from the Device Manager. We have a similar setup on my brother's computer and it works fine.

Another thing to watch, would be what battery is used.  I know from personal exp some devices work with Toshiba stack, vs the MSFT pile up.  Do a search and see if anyone else uses a different battery with these devices. • Logitech USB Headset H530 NOT Plug and Play

Just got a Logitech USB Headset H530 - Logitech docs don't say "no driver required" but my computer says differently. Running Vista Home Premium SP 2 64-bit. Plug them in French - is going through the routine "find the pilot, can find no driver." I plug it into another system of 64-bit Vista Home Premium SP 2 and they work!

Sequence of driver shown on this machine...

    USB driver Composite
    Logitech H350 headset
    USB Human Interface Device
I never see the other two - it just stops do not find anything for the "unknown device". I scanned the forums here and besides anything. Seems to me that my system does not find the right sequence of events (Composite then HID).

    Any help is appreciated!

    Jim

    Hi Jim,.

What is the brnad and model of the PC, you cannot install the USB headphnes on?

What is the brand and model of the PC headset works on?

I suggest to remove all devices external and other devices in your computer, then restart and try installing the headset.

You could go in Device Manager, click the view tab at the top and select hidden devices.

You can remove all instances of the headphones and other devices which are not connected, and then restart the computer.

As stated in your second post, what chipset driver version you did install (version number in particular, not "the last" please)?

  • Bluetooth headset does not appear in the control panel

I try to use my bluetooth headset.  It is paired with success and it seems in the window bluetooth devices.  However, it will not work.  I looked in the sound control panel and the helmet does not appear.  This use to work, but stopped.  How do I add the bluetooth headset icon in the sound control panel so I can choose it as audio device by default?  I uninstalled and reinstalled the device several times.  I also have a bluetooth mouse and it works fine.  There is no other bluetooth devices.  I use Windows 7.

    Thank you

    An alternative is:

    (a) right click on the sound icon in the Notification area

    (b) select "Playback devices"

    (c) a new window called Sound, opens.

    (d) in this window, you will often see the audio devices for playback, which are currently present in Windows 7.

    (e) select the device you want to set as the default value and

f key) click on the default value .

To choose the device that should be the default value for the communication and device that should make the rest of the book,

  • Bluetooth mouse is not detectable

I've been using a Bluetooth mouse for a month, and he would sometimes disconnect. I usually remove him in the devices tab and try to add it again and it usually starts works very well, but this time it was not detectable. I changed my Bluetooth Support Service to automatic, and then he asked an access code I never together. I tried to enter "0000" to get the code, but it didn't work. I tried to update a Bluetooth driver and I restarted my computer, but now my computer cannot detect my mouse even when I try to connect it. • M535 Logitech Bluetooth Mouse is not matching in Boot Camp

I recently bought a Logitech M535 Bluetooth mouse for my iMac 27 inch Retina (end of 2015). I paired in OS X, and it worked like a charm.

However, when I booted Windows Boot Camp, I went to the Bluetooth settings in Windows and it finds my mouse. However, as soon as it started matching, it gave me an error message saying that the device was not found, and as soon as I close the error box, the mouse has disappeared from the list of devices. Then, it maintains the unknown devices listing, and I knew that one of them had to be my mouse. I tried all, but they all failed sail.

Is there a Bluetooth driver problem in Boot Camp? If so, when the next update comes out? Until then, I use the mouse Magic Mouse on Windows (which still works) and the mouse from Logitech on OS X.

Check the update of the Apple software for possibly updated drivers.

  • X 61: Bluetooth device is not detected in Windows 7 64 bit

When I tried to install the bluetooth (vista 64 bit) driver and directly from Broadcomm, both were still stuck in the same place:

    No Bluetooth device was detected.

Someone knows how can I activate my bluetooth device, then install the driver?

    Carlos

Download the Windows 7 Hotkey features. This will allow the console wireless with Fn + F5. You can then activate bluetooth from there. Built-in Windows bluetooth drivers should work fine, perhaps even with an update of WU if you're lucky.

Edit: Don't forget to download the driver for the System Interface too.

  • Turtle beach Px51 bluetooth headset does not not with dongle bluetooth on windows 7

It became quite annoying. I checked for updated on the bluetooth dongle drivers. It connects, but he acts like he wants to use it as a phone. I try to connect and use it as a wireless headset for my III game of Call of Duty: Black ops, but I can't seem to recognize my mic at all. The microphone works because I can talk on the phone with her very well. It just won't let me connect the microphone to the computer. Can someone help me with this?

That's how I got my Bluetooth microphone to work...

    On a Windows 8.1 System...

1.) button press Windows + x select COMPUTER MANAGEMENT.

2.) expand SERVICES and APPLICATIONS, and SERVICES.

3.), search for the BLUETOOTH SERVICES and click on "RESTART the Service" on the left. Do this for all the Bluetooth services, one by one. In addition, you can also RESTART the WINDOWS AUDIO Service, just to be safe.

4.) then go to control panel > hardware and sound > manage Audio devices. Your HEADSET is now accompanied by a HELMET in the playback Menu and a HELMET will also be visible in the REGISTRATION Menu, which is essentially your Microphone.

I hope that helps... !!! Nice day..
