  Since it can be a lot of different cards installed in your model series wireless, I'll need to view the ID of the hardware for the network controller so I can know what model your laptop wireless card has.

  Go to Device Manager and click on the device named network controller.

  Then click on the Details tab in the upper part of the window network controller.

  Now you should see a drop-down list of property and it will be by default the device description.

  On this list and select the second element (Hardware ID).

  I have a HP Probook 4530 s standard stock I had since then and all of a sudden in the last month it comes up with this error at startup "this wireless module is not supported then was disabled 702. I have not changed a thing since I've owned this laptop so I use the card wireless that put HP. I can occcasionally work around (reboot several times) but it is very frustrating, especially when I want to get something done quickly and I have to plan restarting, disconnect the battery etc. game. Is there a solution? I was looking for a solution. As I understand it there is an error with the BIOS and the wireless card is not on the whitelist. Which is ridiculous because it is what came with the laptop!

  Although it does not specifically address your problem, it may be useful and HP 'recommend' the update.

  I did a right click on the bluetooth problem device, select uninstall, check driver uninstall, reboot and see if reinstalling the driver works.

  I'm having a problem with my HP Probook s 4530 where sound sometimes will not play. I downloaded the audio driver for my computer approriate. If I click on an application that requires administrator permissions, and user account control appears, it won't play the sound system as he normally does. If I click on the speaker at the bottom icon right and adjust the volume slider is not a sound. I also noticed that when I listen to any type of Internet video, the video will not play until the sound is working again. The video sometimes plays with no sound, then the sound catches up. I have tried many differnet browsers but the issue keeps happeneing regarless.

  When my computer Windows 7, the audio worked fine. Videos always played and sounds performed system always spot him. My motherboard was replaced late last year due to overheating so I don't think it's a hardware problem. The strange thing is that this problem is not consistent. One minute the sound could be working perfectly, but two minutes later the sound stops just work. If you could provide no details on what it is (my theory is that it is the driver) I would really appreciate it.

  I could try to capture a video of the issue, I'll have and post it on Youtube, but it is difficult, since the issue is sporadic. If I get a video of it, I'll be sure to post the link.

  I have a HP Probook 4530 s (XU018UT) and seem to have a problem with the Atheros card wifi/bluetooth combo is preinstalled. When bluetooth is not in use, it works perfectly, however, when you use bluetooth to my helmet, my internet connection speed falls and becomes unbareable, I also updated the drivers to the latest via HP support assistant download

  Then I bought a wifi/bluetooth card from Intel Centrino Advanced - N 6230 from HP parts store. I swapped for the new Intel one Atheros card and have no problem of speed, my only complaint with the Intel card is that the pairing is slow and my bluetooth headset connect automatically when it is turned on, as it did when installing Atheros card

  I contacted Intel directly and they told me that the Intel card, I had maybe isn't compatible for my laptop and that it could still be Atheros drivers/programs installed that interfere with the operation of the Intel card and that's why I have the problem with my helmet and it is better to have the card Atheros OEM reinstalled.

  I currently have the Intel card installed.

  I prefer the Intel on only the Atheros card due to this being dual-band, but when it comes down to it, I'd be happy with each card installed as long as I have no bluetooth or internet connection problems slow downs.

  FWIW, my laptop already returned to HP for the replacement of the Atheros card after I told him about the problem of internet speed of Atheros bluetooth is active. I've included the results of internet speed test to better explain my problem (that I compared with my older Dell laptop which has also N-wifi and bluetooth built in). When I try to connect the two lights will stop flashing as if they connected and no indication on the controller is showing that they are.   I use HP Probook 4530 s core i5, 2 months from the date that I have purchased this product. I noticed these days that every time that I keep my laptop / stop 24 hours / one full day, its battery discharging up to 5%, and when I turn it on for my use it starts to load it.   In the HP Support Assistant there should be an option to calibrate the battery. HP recommends to calibrate the battery ever of 1 to 2 months. The problem you are experiencing could be the result of the calibration of the battery being off.   You cannot use the drivers from the ATI site for your switchable graphics. They work only for laptops that have only the ATI graphics card and no other additional.
