HP Probook s 4032 cannot Log On Windows, disk error

I can't log on windows on my 4032 s HP's Probook. It says disk error.

When I try the diagnostic system tests and run the hard drive test he said 'impossible to test hard disk, disk not installed '.

Can someone help me?

What happens on my laptop T_T

Hello

Please do a HARD drive self test :

1. reboot the computer.
2. keep pressing the F10 key when appears the HP logo. This will take you to the Bios configuration utility.
3. Select the Diagnostics tab.
4. Select the option "drive hard test" and press ENTER to perform the test.
Note: This test takes at least 40 minutes.

Go - the hard drive is not damaged.
Fail - disk hard is damaged and may need to be replaced.

Kind regards.

You can disable hibernation if it is enabled and you do not...

When you Hibernate your computer, Windows saves the contents of the system memory in the hiberfil.sys file. As a result, the size of the hiberfil.sys file will always be equal to the amount of physical memory in your system. If you don't use the Hibernate feature and want to reclaim the space used by Windows for the hiberfil.sys file, perform the following steps:

-Start the Control Panel Power Options applet (go to start, settings, Control Panel, and then click Power Options).
-Select the Hibernate tab, uncheck "Activate the hibernation", and then click OK. Although you might think otherwise, selecting never under "Hibernate" option on the power management tab does not delete the hiberfil.sys file.
-Windows remove the "Hibernate" option on the power management tab and delete the hiberfil.sys file.

You can control the amount of space your system restore can use...

    1. Click Start, right click my computer and then click Properties.
    2. click on the System Restore tab.
    3. highlight one of your readers (or C: If you only) and click on the button "settings".
4 change the percentage of disk space you want to allow... I suggest moving the slider until you have about 1 GB (1024 MB or close to that...)
    5. click on OK. Then click OK again.

-On the general tab in the section 'Temporary Internet files', follow these steps:
-Click on 'Delete the Cookies' (click OK)
-Click on "Settings" and change the "amount of disk space to use: ' something between 64 MB and 128 MB. (There may be many more now.)
    -Click OK.
-Click on 'Delete files', then select "Delete all offline content" (the box), and then click OK. (If you had a LOT, it can take 2 to 10 minutes or more).
-Once it's done, click OK, close Internet Explorer, open Internet Explorer.

    Hello everyone

I have a HP ProBook 6440 b. CPU is intel core i7 M640. It is currently running Windows 7 64-bit edition. I'm trying to update to 10 Windows using Windows 10 Upgrade Wizard and it gives me error. It says "Windows 10 does not work on this PC. The CPU is not supported (NX). »

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Hello:

I suggest that install you the upgrade from the DVD (authoring tool of your own from the link below - media Make).

    https://www.Microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/Windows10

The DVD will bypass the hardware checks.

Also, when you install W10 from the disk, skip verification of updates when you are prompted.

  • Satellite A50 - cannot log into windows

Hey guys, i struggled to connect to windows. When I turn on my laptop, the toshiba start screen appears and then after that it says: "Please select the operating system to start."
There are 2 options to restore Windows xp home edition and windows xp home edition. It doesn't matter which option to choose, after that I entered just laptop restarting and reappears on the toshiba start screen.

    What can I do?

    Hello

This looks like a Windows Startup Manager.
I assume that you have installed, or you have tried to install a second Windows operating system or / and you've created a partition.
    Am I wrong?

Well, generally the unit should start after choosing one of the options. If this doesn t start then try to start in safe mode.
Then start the system properties. This option you will find in the control panel.
Choose the Advanced tab in the system properties. Then in the startup and recovery section, press the set button.
Then press the button change. This function allows you to modify the boot.ini file.

Check if you see the two lines like this:
    "multi (0) disk (0) rdisk (0) partition (1) \WINDOWS="Micro soft Windows XP Professional "/ fastdetect/noexecute = OptIn

Well, you need to delete a line and save the file. This line is responsible for the choice between drunks at the beginning.

If this procedure doesn't help, well, in my opinion, the new installation of windows is required.

  • XP - cannot connect to Windows Update (error Code: 0X80072EFE)

    OS: Windows XP: SP3

I currently have problems to connect to Windows Update. I can't connect to the site at all and is the "this page cannot be displayed" whenever I try to open it. When you try to update Microsoft Security Essentials, I get error 0x80072EFE. I have already reset Windows Update by the fix in default and in aggressive mode with nothing doesn't.

EDIT: I also ran several different viruses, malware, and trojan scanners so I'm probably clean them.

PART A: Applications, (Norton and McAfee) are known to not uninstall (or upgraded) themselves.

    1. download the Norton Removal Tool, save it to your desktop: ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/english_us_canada/removal_tools/Norton_Removal_Tool.exe

    2. close all open applications (that is, anything with an icon on the taskbar).

    3. double-click on the file that you saved in #1 above to run the utility. DO TAP not your keyboard until the race ends, then restart.

4 reset the Windows Update components (again), restart & test: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971058

I want to update my windows xp but this error. also not automatically update work... Please tell me what I need to do...

    [Error number: 0x8024400A]

    Hi Cécile khan,.

Follow the suggestions below for a possible solution:

Method 1: I suggest you consult the site mentioned below:

Temporary connection related errors may occur when you use Windows Update or Microsoft Update

     http://support.microsoft.com/kb/836941.

Important note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

    Method 2: Manually install updates

Step 1: Steps to find the update does not install

    a. click Start, click all programsand then click Windows Update or Microsoft Update.

    b. click view update history. A window opens that displays all the updates that are installed and those who have not installed properly on the computer.

    c. in the status column, find the update which do not install and then click on the red X.

Step 2: Manually download and install the update using the link below:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/downloads

Method 3: Follow the steps listed in the following article to resolve the problem:

You cannot install some programs or updates

  • XP Remote Desktop cannot connect to Windows 7: error 0xc00002fd

I use Remote Desktop 6.1.7600 on Windows XP sp3 on two different computers and I am trying to connect to a Windows 7 machine on the same domain of one of them.  On the first machine to XP, I have several times a 0xC00002fd error "an authentication error has occurred" when you try to connect to the Windows 7 computer.  On the second XP machine I'm simply asked to password and user id several times.  On both XP machines I have activated CredSSP according to MS kb article 951608.  I'm an admin on the Windows 7 machine and uses my own credentials to connect.  This connection has worked in the past at least one of these XP machines and now all of a sudden it does not, or only intermittently.  Dr Mac OSX version seems to work perfectly.  This makes me wonder if there was an update on the XP side that makes CredSSP work correctly?
