HP ScanJet 7000: HP Scanjet 7000 deleted partition

Hello

Does anyone have the recovery steps to revive a HP ScanJet 7000 after that his score has been removed? I had a tech select this option so that troubleshooting and now it has no real operating system to boot into other than the shell of the operating system. We tried to connect on the web, but really it does nothing.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you

JK

You must transfer the file to port 8816 as a binary file without any information that precedes, then FTP/TFTP and other do not work, basically you need to empty the file directly to the IP address of your scanner. So, you can use netcat (included on unix/mac, windows, you need to download this tool) to push the file, as follows:

NC 1.2.3.4 PORT<>

"Replace 1.2.3.4 with the INVESTIGATION period,"PORT"port on your scanner screen (8816 usually) and then put the path to your file after the.<>

    Unfortunately, you can not recover the files from a deleted partition.

    You may need to rely on software from third parties to achieve this.

    How to create and delete partitions automatically?
    The environment is (10.2.0.3) 10g Oracle on the RHEL4.0 system.
    I want to partition the table of MESSAGES by date (NUMTODSINTERVAL(1,'DAY')). One partition per day. Because the table is huge, only 2 partitions (as of yesterday and today) are required to be available online. All partitions as earlier than the day before will be saved, and then dropped. I want to do the partition to create and delete the work performed automatically. How to do?

    Here is an example of a procedure (part of a package) that adds/add a partition to an existing partitioned table schedule:

    procedure AddHourlyPartition( tableName varchar2, hour date, partitionName IN OUT varchar2 ) is
            sqlCreate       varchar2(4000);
            d               date;
    begin
            partitionName := GetHourlyPartitionName( hourly ); -- name of partition to create

            if existsPartition( tableName, partitionName ) then
                    -- nothing to do
                    return;
            end if;

            d := TRUNC(hour,'hh') + (1/24);                                -- upper date limit of the partition

            sqlCreate :=
            'ALTER TABLE '||tableName||'
                    ADD PARTITION '||partitionName||'
                    values less than
                            (TO_DATE('''|| TO_CHAR(d,'yyyy/mm/dd hh24:mi:ss') ||''',''yyyy/mm/dd hh24:mi:ss''))'
            ;

            ExecSQL( sqlCreate );

    end;

    The partition is safer to create partitions according to the experience?

    It is always better to write good packages in PL/SQL. Packages can (and should) use the application programming interfaces (API). Because our partition custom package that allows the management of partition. Or a messageLog package that allows for logging of application messages, errors, and debugging messages. Or a Notification package that allows to be send by email or SMS notifications. Etc.

    Design and software development, we should always approaches a "+ Lego mentality +"-which is to create building blocks ("+ Lego bricks +") which can be used and reused over and over again. Modularization is of crucial importance in software engineering as the result is not only of reusable code, but also the code that is easier to maintain, extend easier and easier to debug.

  • Reclaim free space after deleting Partition Bootcamp

    After installing a new SSD and gives back to the top of time Machine, I deleted my Bootcamp partition on my MBP using Boot Camp Assistant. The Boot Camp partition, although MS-FAT was no longer bootable after recovery, and I thought again and use Winclone to retrieve my Windows backup.  The result of delete Boot Camp seems good:

    XXXs-MacBook-Pro: ~ the name list $ diskutil

    / dev/disk0 (internal, physical):

    #: NAME SIZE TYPE IDENTIFIER

    0: GUID_partition_scheme * 960,2 GB disk0

    1: disk0s1 EFI EFI 209.7 MB

    2: Apple_HFS Macintosh HD 959,3 GB disk0s2

    3: disk0s3 Apple_Boot Recovery 650.0 MB HD

    But when I look at the storage, I find that I went 113 GB on my hard drive MacIntosh partition (or says my Time prior Machine backup) to more than 300 GB.  The Boot Camp 118.5 GB partition is gone, but the 'Other' segment seems to have increased to 284 GB.

    I see a lot of solutions online for free space recovery after the removal of Boot Camp, but they do not seem to apply to me.  Many are for removals of Boot Camp failed using disk utility.  Several involve CS, but I have no basic storage.  I tried to boot into recovery and repair.  I tried several reboots to clear space.

    Any ideas, please?

    Please after the release of the following OSX Terminal commands...

    diskutil list

    Cs diskutil list

    sudo TPG - vv - r see the/dev/disk0

    Please enter your password when you are prompted by the command 'sudo '.

  • Deleted partition BOOTCAMP capacity entered Recovery HD

    I am facing a weird problem and it is honestly driving me crazy!

    I had a partition bootcamp (80 GB) with Windows 7 installed for a while. Then I tried to delete this partition using Bootcamp Assistant of Apple, but I have encountered an error and was not able to do. So I decided to start in Recovery Mode, formatted the BOOTCAMP partition in the hope that I would be more able to merge with my Macintosh HD one.

    I managed to do it, which means that I then had Macintosh HD on one side and a BOOTCAMP partition go 80 empty on the other.

    However, something was not trying to group them together and for some reason, I now have a capacity of 420 GB displayed on Macintosh HD (same as before), no BOOTCAMP partition remain always displayed and order diskutil list showing me 80 GB for Apple Recovery HD (which correspond to my initial BOOTCAMP capability):

    ~ diskutil list

    / dev/disk0 (internal, physical):

    #: NAME SIZE TYPE IDENTIFIER

    0: GUID_partition_scheme * GB 500,3 disk0

    1: disk0s1 EFI EFI 209.7 MB

    2: Apple_HFS Macintosh HD 419,4 GB disk0s2

    3: Apple_Boot Recovery HD 80.5 GB disk0s3

    When I run the option first aid in Apple SSD disk utility, I get the following:

    My only wish is to be able to recover my full 500 GB on Macintosh HD for later use bootcamp again and install Windows 10.

    Looking forward to any kind of help,

    Thank you in advance.

    Save all your data, preferably twice and independent from each other. Format the drive and reinstall the OS from scratch and restore your data. Alternatively, if you are comfortable using the command line this syntax comes into play:

    diskutil resizeVolume peripheral [ limits |] MapSize | R | size [numberOfPartitions]

    [part1Format part1Name part1Size part2Format part2Name

    part2Size part3Format part3Name part3Size...] ]

    No destructive resize a volume (partition); You can

    increase or decrease its size. On the other hand, takes no action

    and print some info.

    A size of the limits takes no action, but instead will print the

    target range of valid values for the score, taking into

    conditions account file system and partition from the current map

    as files used and other partitions (buildings) following the

    target.

    A size of mapsize takes no action, but instead will print the

    size of the device disc set covering, as well as the

    map of entire partition size (all partitions less map

    (overhead). The whole-disk device may be larger than the by -.

    competition card if the entire disk device has increased since the party-

    tion map was created. More a whole-disk device is possible

    with some drives (RAID) business systems.

    You can grow a volume (partition) (back) to its maximum size

    possible, provided no new partitions have been created, which

    are in the way, by specifying R for the new size of the volume. You

    must use R instead of trying a value such as

    100% because the latter cannot count fresh generals score card.

    To decrease the size, new partitions may be

    created to fill the recently released space.  To do this, specify

    the numberOfPartitions, format, name, and size settings in

    the same way as the description of triplet for the

    partitionDisk verb.

    Resize a volume that is currently defined as the computer

    Startup disk will invalidate this setting; use the Startup

    Disc Bless or system preferences panel (8) to reset the

    resized volume as the boot disk.

    Device refers to a volume; file system of the volume must be

    logging HFS +.  Valid sizes are a number followed by a capital

    Letter from Tal multiplier or percent sign suffix as described in

    the section SIZES at the end of this page (e.g. 1-5 t, 128 M,

    50%).  Property of the disc is needed.

  • F2C49PA #AB4: recovery deleted partition

    partition recovery deleted it by mistake how can I original recovery image

    Prasanna-pc

    Ordinarily, I advise to use HP recovery media to restore your PC to its original state. That would erase the entire disk, format the drive and install the operating system, drivers and utilities HP.

    Unfortunately, there is no support of HP recovery related to HP for your PC Product Page.  This could be an oversight by HP, or it could also mean that HP stock is no longer the recovery media for your PC. They store any long recovery media for older PCs.

    You can try to contact the HP customer directly, using the links below, to see if you can order them if:

    If you live in the United States or the Canada, details are on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/phone-assist.html#section1

    If you live elsewhere, contact details are on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/ww-contact-us.html

    NOTE: once you get through, stay on the line until you are finally able to talk to someone ' one - it can take a while!

    If HP no longer provides a recovery media for your model, a few other sites, you should check are: http://www.computersurgeons.com/ and http://www.restoredisks.com/

    Good luck

  • Satellite L300D - Recovery deleted Partition

    Hi all

    I am a fool and deleted the partition recovery on my Satellite L300D.

    I have an installation of WinVista disc, and I found what I thought, were the SATA drivers, loads them in the course of installing Windows - no go.

    Can someone point me to a DL for a recovery disc or the correct drivers to install during the installation of Windows right?

    Any help would be great appreciated!

    > Can anyone point me to a DL for a recovery...
    I put t know what DL, but what I write here is followed by: original recovery image is not downloadable, and if you have the original disk recovery Toshiba for your machine, you must order it under https://backupmedia.toshiba.eu/landing.aspx

    If you want to install own os version, what do you think on Win7?
    I mean I installed Win7 32 bit on friends L300 and it works perfectly.

  • Satellite L555 - 10M - deleted Partition D and HARD drive recovery

    Hi all

    I deleted my D partition on my laptop also drive HARD recovery. Now my Question is how to retrieve an Image on this Partition? I have a recovery CD and I can start it but it s only a picture for Windows 7 32 bit.
    If I boot from CD then a warning appears, who asked if I have already created an Image. If I click Next, then it will format my C Partition.

    Can someone tell me how I can create a new Image without C format?

    Thank you very much

    Hi hardpoekel,

    Why you deleted the D partition if you didn't create the Toshiba Recovery disk? Sorry, I put t understand.

    I think the point is that drive recovery of what you have now only contains an image of Windows 7 32 bit. AFAIK on Satellite L555 - 10 M is Windows 7 64 bit preinstalled and create a recovery for this OS disc, to use the Toshiba Recovery Disk Creator. But now it of too late because you deleted the files on this disc.

    I think that going back to Windows 7 64-bit, you can order a Toshiba Recovery disk:
    https://backupmedia.Toshiba.EU/landing.aspx

    You can use the recovery disk from current 32 bit without any problems, but it will only restore 32-bit version instead 64-bit.

    I guess that you haven't, right?

    You can order under https://backupmedia.toshiba.eu/landing.aspx

  • Invisible logical partitions after deleting partition EISA WinRE on satellite

    Hello

    I have a dual boot with pre-installed Vista and XP. So, I got in total 3 primary partitions and 1 scope with logical partitions it contains. I keep Vista on the reserve and only use XP as a boot partition. I wanted to try a third OS but I had reached the maximum of 4 primary partitions on the disk. So I made a backup of and deleted the EISA WinRE partition which was pre-installed with Vista, thinking this would affect only Vista, my only boot is XP.

    I used the XP computer for this management tool. But when I click with the "delete" button right over WinRE and chosen, the score became the unallocated volumes, but also ALL logic on the extended partition, except the first.

    I tried to take over WinRE recovery with Acronis image process, but I have the extended partition still shows only the first volume and no trace of the rest of my data. Obviously, it was a big mistake and WinRE seems to contain more information for Vista recovery.

    How can I return my logical partitions?

    Thanks for any help

    Hmm I doubt you might be abele to restore the WinRE partition once again without use of the Vista CD it seems you completely remove this partition one also all data from the partition.
    I agree with you and it was really a mistake, sorry but I n t see any big chance to get back but maybe someone has another idea.

  • Spectrum of HP x 360 13-4195dx: how to reassign the drive letter of the recovery Partition or delete partition?

    I just bought a new spectrum X 360 convertible. I'm trying to use Laplink PCMover PRO to move my programs etc to my old PC. But when I get to the part where I said to transfer, it tells me that there is not enough room for my D: drive. The recovery partition is D:.

    What I've done so far:

    (1.) I made a recovery USB drive using Windows 10 disk management software. (I thought that this software would allow me to remove the recovery partition after the copy, but he did this).

    2.) I tried to delete the partition by using the disk Windows 10 Manager but is not an option.

    What I want to do is delete the D: drive (I have the USB recovery) recovery and create a new partition of D: drive.

    Does anyone know what I'm missing here?

    Also, who was the person who chose D: as the recovery partition? (was that a competitor? (LOL)

    Thanks in advance,

    Dave

    I read on some other posts that the resumption of "F11" looked like a particular drive letter, so I was hesitant to remove the drive designation letter assignment. I did my recovery USB drive then I'll just delete the partition. I don't really like having all my recovery options on a HARD disk that will crash a day (LOL).

    Thank you
