  No, SimpleSave software is not compatible with Windows 10.

  Its as old as HP tech support any longer.

  If you have an old simplesave drive, it is recommended that you upgrade to a new external drive soon. Many people have reported SimpleSave drives that fail now. Once failed, you can not recover the data on it.

  Seems that the reason of the customer above has to do with protected X drive and philosophy of security sandbox mode the Adobe General.

  Protected mode can be configured through the registry as follows:

  1. go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\10.0\Privileged.
  Note: the application uses an internal key. The real key does not exist by default and therefore does not appear until the key is created manually.

  2. right click and choose new > DWORD value.

  3. create a bProtectedMode.

  4. right click on bProtectedMode and click on modify.

  5. set the value to 0 to disable the Protected Mode and 1 to enable it.

• Best way to parse a string for use in a lookup table?

  I am trying to create a system by which users can create a premade simulation and store simulations in order to easily load at their convenience. The way it works now is that when the user creates a simulation, information on the characteristics of the simulation are condensed down to a 12 string, which is written in a text file with the same name as its content. This string is then read, and ideally, I would have some sort of lookup table to convert characters in the information they have been condensed to. For example, a variable X can have possible values {650,720,851} who gets the mapping to {A, B, C} during the creation process.   Thanks for the suggestion but discovered that the simpleSave software had been somehow these hidden files.  When directories appropriate when changed to no masks, folders were visible.

• Hard drive Portable HP

  Hello, I have a portable hard drive to HP pd1000a and have been using it with Windows 7.   I had to have a new hard drive on my computer there not too long ago, still using Windows 7.    When I now connect the hard drive Portable HP to my USB connection on my PC, it does not automatically start it allows.    I do not see the drive listed in my area of the 'computer' window, but I can't seem to start to restore or save.   Previously, as soon as I connected the hard drive of my computer, a window open and then he would allow me to back up or restore that never I chose.

  I'd appreciate any help that I can get this hard drive opens automatically, so I can use it once more.

  In the external hard drive (not the C drive and no computer), there is a folder named Simple Save or something similar. Do you see something like that?

  If so, the application file is in this folder. I don't remember the exact name of the exe file, but it's there.

  There should also be a file autorun.inf in there. What do you see as well?

• SimpleSave 1 TB Drive

  I just installed a Simplesave backup device on my computer. (1 TB)

  1. What is the brand and model of your computer?
  2. How do you try to eject the CD?
  3. Do you have any pending updates?

  I suggest the following methods and check.
