I've upgraded a computer Windows XP Home to Windows XP Pro and ran Windows Update, which installed IE 7.0.  I kept getting a Windows Installer cannot find the status.msi error, so I uninstalled all HP programs and downloaded the full package of software error of HP C4250.

The installation fails during the installation of the printer at 63%.  After this fails, I get a message as installing other programs.  Printer drivers install OK but the scanner does not work.

I tried to disable all Start Menu items, disable Norton services, uninstall, reinstall several times, have disconnected and reconnected to the printer.  I can print but not scan.   In the start menu I also have HP Photo Imaging & HP Director on the desktop and the start menu (I found the article on the use of the Alt space), but no other HP programs appear.  In addition, in Add/Remove Programs, no program of HP don't appear.

I tried to setup the printer to skip during installation.  Once again, I received the message that additional programs are installing, but nothing appears in Add/Remove Programs, etc.

. I solved the problem.  I downloaded just the drivers and the scanner has started working.

    Hello
Click the Start button and type folder in the search bar, then open the Temp folder indicated.

Open the last HP installation folder that begins with 7z (e.g. 7zs1234)
    Open the installation folder.
Find the file usbready.exe and rename it to usbready.old.exe
Navigate to the main extraction folder (folders that begins with 7z) and run the Setup.exe file.

Now follow the installation and check for the difference.

The process seems to start OK, guests of the installer for the installation location, to ensure that you agree to the terms and conditions and then, when you click on install, it checks the updates and then install the updates, then the installation program just closes! No errors, disappears? I checked in the Manager tasks to see if setup.exe is still ongoing, but he isn't here?

I tried to download the latest version of the software from the HP website, but it's exactly the same thing? I saw on a forum that it was because Adobe Flash has not been installed, so I've updated for Flash 10 version, but no change, the installation simply stops?

  • Color LaserJet MFP M477fdn Pro: M477 Software Installation fails at 99%

Like others who have posted here, I have been unable to get the printer software to complete the installation. The printer is a Color LaserJet Pro MFP M477fdn, 3 months. I'm trying to install the software on a new workstation HP Z240 performing Windows 10 (64-bit). The connection is via USB cable. The printer and the software have been previously used with a Windows 7 machine without problem.

I tried, repeatedly, to install the software from the disc supplied with the printer and also a 126.6 mb download HP Color LaserJet MFP printer M477 Pro series full software and drivers. It is a fatal error, preventing the use of the product. Restart your computer and run this installer again. Thanks for any help solving this.

I think I understood the question, 10 windows installs its own driver, and the installation program expects the hp driver to install.

DO this FOR THE HP INSTALLER PROCESS (when the percentage meter goes)

    1. go into the Device Manager and find the printer in the list of devices

    2. right click on the printer and select "Update Driver software"

    3. click on "Browse my computer for driver software".

    4. choose "Let Me pick one...» »

    5. Select the named driver: HP Color LaserJet MFP M477 PCL-6 Pro (make sure it's one with a dash between the pcl and 6!)

    6. click next and back to the installation of hp box and must now see the printer and continue the installation.

I have an L7590 attached to my wireless router, ethernet cable that My HP Pavillion is also connected to the router via a cable. Solution Center has stopped working properly after that a power failure brought me to restart everything.  Everything works fine for all devices and software with the exception of the solution Center.

I uninstalled solution Center, run the uninstall-L3 batch and reinstalled the printer.  I can print to the printer.  I can't Solution Center to install.

I need ability to this printer as a scanner and the ability to fax from my computer.

I scanned the forums and have not yet found a solution.  Any help is GREATLY appreciated!

I solved my problem, at least for me.  I have 4 computers that are sharing the printer so I got it via a cable to connect to my router.  He is sitting close to my first computer Clubhouse so I changed the connection of a USB connection to this computer.  I have downloaded and run the L4 which takes everything on my desk, associated with the All in One printer Uninstall.  I then downloaded the latest version of the software for printer myL7590 and stotred to a directory on my hard drive.  Then, I went in this directory and run the Setup program.  This time everything worked perfectly.  Of course I'm sharing now the printer in my office.

  • CRC error on large compressed files (.zip, .rar, .cab, etc...) The installation fails too...

    Hello world

I have a new Dell computer. It's a Dell Studio 540 with Windows Vista Home Premium 64 bit, with 1 TG of hard drive and 8 GB of RAM. I have problems with "decompression" of a large number of large compressed files (more than 50 GB). Also, because the files on a DVD are often compressed (in the cab for the majority file), the same error occurred on an installation package. Thus, to resume, I got CRC error on compressed files, while opening the zipper AND my different types of software installation fails with errors of Sami.

Before you answer, please read my steps below:

    1. I reinstalled Windows Vista 2 times from scratch with a clean format. Whenever I get the same error on the same files even when there is nothing installed (even the drivers are not installed).
    2. I tried to run Windows XP Mini, a very light version of XP is the launch of a CD at startup and run in RAM. The same problem.
    3. I did all kinds of tests of the material myself AND with Dell technical support. Nothing was found, and I'm sure it's 99.9% true. Everything has been tested: RAM, hard drive, processor, motherboard, etc. The Dell technical support told me that my computer is 100% functional and that this error is due to some software (Windows) does not very well with 64-bit processor... Everything works well in my work all day EXCEPT for the decompression of data.
    4. my files are not damaged: they unzip perfectly on other computers. In addition, the program that do not install because of the CRC error with compressed file are all used before on another computer OR are new. I even changed DVD to the store to get a new one and the problem is still there. I also tried to download the torrent from the .iso file and the same problem happened.
    5. the files on my computer are not corrupted by the hard drive. I copy keys usb, directrly on the DVD to the hard drive. All possible tests have been done on the files, and they are ok.
    6. I did all kinds of tests such as checkdisk, spyware, etc... but given that the installation has not helped with it, I don't think it's related.

My last hope is here... MVP is maybe know a problem in which Windows with zip files. I read a lot of people of the CRC errors, so I'm sure something happens. I am currently with the Dell customer service to get a full refund to buy a new computer without a 64-bit processor because it looks too new for Microsoft.

So if anyone knows something I could try, tweak, change to help me with my problem please let me know.

    Thank you very much!

    Hello!

This morning, I realized that I never returned to close this topic. In fact, I work with dell for a number of weeks, talk to like 10 or 15 support technical Member, try something else and you know what works?

Reinstall windows... But in my case, I have reinstalled windows 2 times before they ask me to do it again. So I did and everything worked perfectly... For the third time is lucky: P in fact, perhaps during the first installation of 2, RAM has not been installed properly or has failed for a second, because every file that has been read has become corrupted, but at the same time, everything is normal on my computer seems to work ok... In addition, it could be the update that I did for my BIOS. So, a good test would be to update your BIOS, shut down your computer, check if the ram is installed ok, restart, verify that your ram is detected.

After that, reinstall your windows, but DO NOT use the file you had on your "not working version of windows. I lost a lot of backup of the thing on my computer because even put on my new fresh install of windows, these rar did not work. I needed to pick up an old DVD and they worked

So, I hope this will help!

  • Photosmart Premium C410a: driver installation fails repeatedly wins 10

Network printer on the local wifi network.  Became the busy error scan after reclassification of Win7 to Win10, did not know that was a problem known to HP, so uninstalled the printer drivers and downloaded the latest version of the driver, went to reinstall.  It happens on the screen "I agree", and when I click Next, it flashes "Remove HP software" and closes.  Tried several times.  Checked if it has been set to the private network, it is.  Tried the HPPrinterInstallWizard, it downloads the same driver, take me up to that point, and when the installation fails it curls back and begins to do the same thing everywhere.  Tried the HPPrinterandScanDoctor, it does exactly the same thing.  And of course, HP don't talk to me because my printer is not new.  I even tried the old software CD (2012), it loads and says: "Welcome Back! I tried to uninstall and reinstall several times but still get the same message

Help, what do I do to fix this?

File downloaded to install the site Web of Toshiba's v80012_T20110809_x64 as dated 18/08/2011 11.53

    Hello

A question: could you please post you completely portable model number?
I'm not quite sure of this model laptop but most of the portable m press a combo of WLan/BT card. This means that a single module shares WiFi and BT connectivity.

In this case its need to install an additional driver like BT filter driver package, but this depends on the module that is installed in the unit.

However, I m wondering why try you to install/upgrade to update this BT stack if it worked correctly in the past

I need help. The flash on my phone card tool was out of use. I downloaded the value added package in the 1.3.5 version and tried to install. Installation fail after having extracted the Exe file compressed with the error "Setup PVAT error. [0x8146045B] ". I thougt the error may occure while I not remove the installed software before. So I uninstall the value-added package. After reboot and without installation of value added new package the same error.

How can I install value added package again?

    Tecra A11, Windows 7 64 bit

    Concerning
    TS

    Hi TSAGI,.

I had a similar problem with the package of added value, so I also removed the previous version first. But after the reboot, I used the freeware CCleaner tool to clean the registry and delete the old keys of VAP. So just download CCleaner and run it, after this restart again and try to install VAP.

    Check this box!

  • HP 7310: HP 7310 all-in-One Driver installation fails on Windows 10

I was thrilled to see that HP had a version of Windows 10 recommended its full printer driver, located at 7310

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=MP-110183-3&cc=us&DLC=en&LC=en...

As with most HP stuff and most of the things Windows, however, my pleasure was short-lived. I started the installation (after choosing "10 64-bit Windows" option) and everything seems to work as I remembered, and the installer even got to the point where he discovered my network printer. But then this black popup appeared in the corner of my screen saying "your app does not work with Windows 10". The idea behind spoke of how the application was using the old protocols or something which would be harmful to the computer. In the end, the installation failed - the 7310 HP does not appear in my series of printers installed. Total disappointment, I have come to expect.

In the notes for installing HP says "If you only want the print (without the Photosmart Software Suite) driver, it is available as a separate download named"HP Deskjet basic driver"." In fact the pilot "baisc" would probably be all that I need. But alas it is unconnected with this driver and search both using the internal HP AND visa search engines search gives nothing.

Anyone with ideas? HP driver has been updated 29/07/15 so this isn't old stuff. Thank you.

So here's my solution. First of all, you get that you shouldn't be disturbed by installation failure message when you install this package on Windows 10. There are nine steps of installation and the ninth is to install a "Bing toolbar' or something like this. This is apparently an attempt to install a toolbar in Internet Explorer. The failure occurs because there is not Internet Explorer on Windows 10. This failure would have nothing to do with the failure of the connection to the printer.

The solution is to install all the updates of Windows 10 before trying to install the HP driver software. I have two identical machines brand new with Windows on them factory installed 10. I have tried to install all the stuff before waiting for updates to Windows, and that was the one where I failed... the part 'add a device' on the first installation went well and has print a list of the activities of the network in its effort to talk to my printer, but in the end, it failed and I got the big red 'X' on the final schedule which appears (the 'X' was between the router /) portrays switch and the printer). After the updates of Windows on this computer, the installation was successful. Then with the second machine, I did the updates of Windows first, and on this machine, the HP installation was successful the first time.

It could also be that it's specific hardware; It is possible that my Windows updates included an update from the manufacturer of my particular network interface, for example, and the network interface driver was the problem. My machines are the two model PowerSpec G415 computers to office who have a "Killer Z97X" mainboard ASRock, which I'm guessing that contains the material of common Intel chipset. In any case, good luck with that to all who follow in my footsteps. This one seems to have a happy ending for me at least.
