Instead of blocking categories of sites, how would be to limit all access except 3 or 4 sites specific?
I want access only (1) my email online (2) a thesaurus online and (3) another site. Is it possible to do this without dealing with categories?
Thank you.
Sorry, Firefox isn't like filters, you would need an external program as a "Net Nanny" to be able to block all but a few areas.

I have firefox 50, I am aware that most of the Web site I visit can offer videos with html5 (and that the flash is used only if it is installed, it is 100% correct in the mobile world) so I would like to have firefox using default html5 instead of flash (which is what I would like to withdraw as soon as possible). How to block a Web site through the firewall of windows 7 ultimate 64-bit
I tried to block a Web site, but I found never this kind of option in the windows firewall... the picture is the same in avast internet security which I use also... I don't want some websites to access it on my computer... Please help me solve the problem.
Hi ramakrishna91,
1. don't want to block certain websites?
You will not be able to block the Web site access by using the Windows Firewall, but you can use Internet explorer to access the Web sites by adding these sites in sensitive sites.
(a) click the Start button, select Control Panel, type Internet options in the search box, and then click Internet Options.
(b) click on the Security tab, click restricted sites , and then click Sites.
(c) to add a site, type the URL in the Add this Web site to the zone box, and then click Add.
Why can't open or copy files from the web?

Latest Firefox block reported attack sites...
Hi all, in the latest version of Firefox, the option "firefox block reported attack sites" is enabled by default. My question is, mettle is listed as one of these Web sites. I use mettle to allow people to download photos from events that I cover without having to affect the speed of my site... granted some might use mettle for wrong reasons, but not all.
So, what can I do? Not all visitors to my website would have the knowledge to turn this setting off...Block page has been enabled by default for years, but blocking download has been added more recently, perhaps around early March when there was a wave of messages on it.
The list of bad sites come from secure Google service. Downloads of Firefox updated lists of blocking at regular intervals. It is questionable to block a whole file, hosting site based on a bad user, so I hope that the next iteration of the data file removes the block; We are all at the mercy of the data on it.
To check where your date file has been updated, you can watch here (type or paste into the start menu search box and press enter or use the Windows Run dialog box):
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles
It's the cache and temporary files folder corresponding to your active profile folder. Double-click your most recently updated and secure profile folder. Normally, you will find that the files have been updated within the last day.

If you need search malware here's my recommendations - they will allow you to

popup blocker has blocked a security program how it unlocked
What kind of security program are you referring?
Are you sure it's pop-up blocker?
If it is blocked by the pop-up, it's under the browser or the website and NOT the Windows application.
Blocker normal will never block request, and they only block pop-up Web sites.

Original title: JS:Iframe - PW
Hi, I keep getting a warning from my antivirus by saying the following:
Details of the infection
URL: http://served-by.arcadeoldies.com/www/de... Process: C:\Program Explorer\iexpl may... Infection: JS:iframe - PW [Trj] URL: (removed)
Process: C:\Program may Explorer\iexplore.exe
Infection: JS:iframe - PW [Trj] Infection: JS:Iframe - PW [Trj]
The antivirus also appears a warning regarding the process and the same url and says it has blocked a dangerous site.
I did a scan with the Scanner for MS, but he found nothing and I found very little info on the web about JS:Iframe - PW specifically.
Please notify.

Hello
1. what anti-virus software you are using on the computer?
2. don't you make changes on the computer before the show?3. when exactly, you get this Antivirus software warning message?
Method 1:
You try to run Microsoft Safety Scanner mode safe mode with networking and see if it helps. To restart in Mode safe mode with networking enabled:
(a) restart the computer.
(b) when you see the logo of the manufacturer of the computer, press F8 .
(c) on the screen Advanced Startup Options , use the arrow keys to select Safe Mode with networkand press enter.
(d) to connect to your computer with an account with administrator rights.
Now, try to scan your computer for Microsoft Safety Scanner, it will help us to get rid of viruses, spyware and other malicious software.
The Microsoft Security Scanner is a downloadable security tool for free which allows analysis at the application and helps remove viruses, spyware and other malware. It works with your current antivirus software.
http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx
Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.
Warning: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.
Method 2:
I suggest you try the procedure described in the link and check. How to prevent and remove viruses and other malware
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/129972Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.
Warning: If you run the antivirus program that is infected by the virus scan will get deleted. Therefore, reinstall the program. Also if the files and folders are affected by the virus, then they might even get deleted, which means that there is a risk of data loss.
Method 3:
If you get the pop-up window when you use Internet Explorer, you can enable the pop-up blocker and check if it helps.(a) open Internet Explorer.
(b) click on the Tools button on the top left cornerand click then on internet options.
(c) click on the tab confidentiality.
(d) set the check box for the option "enable pop-up Blocker".
(e) click apply and then click OK.For more information, please see the link.
