HP Touchsmart 15-r053cl: computer doesn't load and DIES.

My computer is not load, so I assumed it was the charger or plug, so I bought a new charger, and that did not work. I tried two Chargers on each point of sale at my house, they did not work. My computer, and then died. I know that it is still in warranty, I got the computer less than a year and I am so frusterated at this stage.

Adapters should be good, but the power don't happen in the system. The laptop ran on battery only until there was no more energy. This means that the port of loading has gone wrong. You must call the HP warranty support and make a claim. It's almost certainly a hardware problem, that we will not be able to help you because fixing it will require disassembly. You're going to have to be done under warranty.

    Hello

Have you added any software CD/DVD burning or else around the time that it started to happen? Some may
compete for resources and cause problems.

    ------------------------------------------

Please make these top-down, even if you have some before fact as is often the set of operations which solves the problem.
    It's a checklist and not a menu.

    Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double-click on the device - driver tab - click
Update the drivers (this will probably do nothing) - then RIGHT click the drive - UNINSTALL - REBOOT
This will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue below.

Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a loose cable or
slight corrosion on the contacts (usually for a laptop) and other issues.

Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both
ends. Remove and replace, do not just tight. For laptops, you can often clean power and
contacts data with a pencil eraser.

    Hope these helps.

  • I uninstalled Firefox on my computer, then I reinstalled and tried to run, but this message appeared, "failed to load your Firefox profile,"

I uninstalled Firefox on my computer, then I reinstalled and tried to run, but this message appeared, "failed to load your Firefox profile. It may be missing or inaccessible"and Firefox does not open.

I tried press windows key + R on my computer and open %appdata%\Mozilla\ - and rename the folder labeled "Firefox", but he said that "the action cannot be complete because the folder or the file that is open in another program" I didn't open it and try to restart the pc, but still no help

A likely cause is a problem with the file profiles.ini and the profile marked as the default value = 1 in this file is no longer present on the hard drive.

    • Windows: %AppData%\Mozilla\Firefox\
      C:\Users\ < user > < profile > \AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\.
    • Linux: ~/.mozilla/firefox/
    • Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Firefox /.

You can use one of them to make the Creation/use of a new default profile for Firefox:

    • Remove the profiles.ini file to force Firefox to create a new default profile
    • Use the Profile Manager to create a new profile
    • Use "Choose a folder" when you create a new profile to select the location of a lost profile and recover this profile

  • I loaded the new update for Firefox today and received a message from 'need to reboot to complete the installation'. However, even after restarting several times the update does not load and he always invites me to restart my computer.

The update does not load, and I can't "remove" program to my computer and reload as the same (needs to restart to complete the installation) error message keeps appearing even after several reboots.

Do a cleaning (re) install and delete the folder of the program Firefox (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\).

Download a new copy of Firefox and save the file to the desktop.

Uninstall your current version of Firefox if possible.

    • Do not remove the data of a personal nature when you uninstall the current version or you lose your bookmarks and other data in the profile folder.

Delete the program folder Firefox before installing newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.

    • It is important to remove the Firefox program folder to delete all the files and make sure that there is no problem with the files that were the remains after uninstallation.

Your bookmarks and other profile data stored in the Firefox profile folder and will not be affected by a relocation, but make sure that you do not select delete data of a personal nature if you uninstall Firefox.

Hi, I use iTunes 12.3.2.35 on a Windows 7 computer. I don't seem to be able to import files from a CD that contains the files on it as mp3 files. If I start iTunes and then put the CD in, it doesn't appear and I can't drag and drop.

It would not seem like an audio CD, as a drive in this way is a data disc when it contains mp3 files. You would need to access the file menu in iTunes, manage files here. If you manually manage music, you will need to access it as a regular folder on your computer. In iTunes, go to file > add file to library, and select individual files.

  • Satellite L300 - portable computer does not load

    Hello

I just wanted to know roughly how much it should cost, or what can I do to fix my laptop. It does not load and I bought a new charger to see if it works but it started to load for a few days and then stopped working again.

All responses will be apperciated, thank you.

    Hi DeeDee_1,

If you have already bought a new charger and it doesn t work there seems to be a motherboard problem, but another part could be affected too

Here he s just a user to user forum and nobody can tell you how much it would cost because a professional diagnosis is necessary. After that an authorized service provider can make you an offer on all repair costs.

Then contact the guy and ask for help. They can give you a good answer ;)

  • Installed El Capitan, Mac Mail not loading and computer works slower

It is now a week now since the installation and Mac Mail is still not loading new emails automatically. When I exit and restart the mail, the titles of all new e-mails comes in but not the content. In order to get the content I did some random actions that I remember even they did work once or twice?  The program also randomly stops.

I have only one Imap account, have cleaned all the unwanted files and trash and as suggested have removed all the log files and rebuilt, and reindexed mail. However, I can't rebuild my Inbox as it won't let me?   Overall, my computer also seems to run slower for all tasks. I have an early 2011, the Macbook Pro 17 "with 16 GB of ram and a fast SSD drive. Before this upgrade, I've rarely seen a spinning ball, and this computer is running fast as lightning!

Very frustrated with this upgrade so far :-(  Hoping it might be a simple problem or update soon...

    Thank you

    John

Try these in order to test your system after each see if it is back to normal:

    1. a. reset the PRAM and NVRAM on your Mac.

    b. Macs with Intel processors: reset of the controller (SMC) system management

    2. restart the computer in Safe Mode, and then restart again, normally. If this does not help, then:

HD recovery start: restart the computer and after the buzzer, press on and press and hold the

COMMAND and R keys until it appears the Utilities menu screen.

3 fix the hard disk and permissions: select startup drive in the Utilities menu utility. Fix the hard drive and the permissions as follows.

When the recovery menu appears, select disk utility and press the continue button. After loading disk utility select it

back from Macintosh HD entry of the list on the left.  Click first aid button in the toolbar. Wait for the operation

ends, then quit disk utility and back to the main menu.

4 reinstall OS X: restart from HD recovery Select reinstall OS X from the Utilities menu, then click on the continue button.

Note : You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest to use Ethernet if possible because it's three times faster than wireless.

    Hello
Click the Start button and type folder in the search bar, then open the Temp folder indicated.

Open the last HP installation folder that begins with 7z (e.g. 7zs1234)
    Open the installation folder.
Find the file usbready.exe and rename it to usbready.old.exe
Navigate to the main extraction folder (folders that begins with 7z) and run the Setup.exe file.

Now follow the installation and check for the difference.

    Kind regards
    Shlomi
