  The specifications for the computer show that they run win 8 64-bit.  Downgrade you for Win 7?

• Firefox has only display problems in the upper left region of only my Dell U3011 monitor; the monitor does not have these problems with any other application

  Some parts of the Firefox window are translucent, allowing the image of the desktop to show through. These regions are anything but great internet site central image which behaves normally. Unless the desktop is completely black this problem makes reading the tabs, address bar and the bookmark are difficult if not impossible. I encounter this problem only on my new Dell U3011 monitor. Firefox is the only application that has this issue on the Dell monitor. The monitor built into the laptop that animates the Dell monitor does not exhibit this problem. If I ask about 15-20 lbs of pressure, forcing the connector of headphones into the socket as hard as possible, the cell begins to recognize and the helmet works. As soon as I let go of the connector, the laptop will behave as if the device was disconnected.

  Hello. Your options are to contact technical support to schedule a repair, or return it for a refund or Exchange if you are still in the short return period (twenty one days from the date on the invoice if you got from Dell).

• XPS 8700 + Radeon 5770 does not

  Just got a XPS 8700 and decided to put my gcard of my old system in because it is more powerful.  Radeon 5770, when I put it in I get nothing.  The monitor does not display anything.  I put back it in my old system, and everything works fine.  Is the 8700 XPS somehow simply not compatible with the card Radeon 5770?

  Any suggestions on a map of decent price I want to consider?  If the XPS 8700 for some reason any cannot support any powerful graphics card I can just return.  Very strange that the card doesn't seem to work.

  We have just updated from view 6.0 to 6.2.  Before the update everything worked ok.  Now PCoIP with multiple monitors does not work.  With multiple monitors RDP works very well.  PCoIP use the option full screen works.

  View agent sees the 2 screens as indicated by the customer. But he fails to set up displays.  The user sees the blue welcome screen for a few seconds and then the connection is closed.  The desktop view is running Windows 7 Ultimate.

  Does anyone have any suggestions.  I tried to re-install vmtools and agent of the view.  With reboots after each uninstall and install.

  Isn't the problem as far as I could determine with the agent of the view.  I have restored my environment view 6.0.1 and still the problem persisted.

  We have been updating vpshere U3 5.5 6.0 environment.  Only workstations where the vmtools has been updated have had this problem.  The suggestion of roneng was useful in helping to confirm the root cause.  But the version provided in the message information was not clear.

  For desktop computers running the most recent version of the vmtools version is 9.10.5.2981885.

  CarbonCopyClone on an external drive in an external enclosure.  Upgrade than SL ElCapitan leaving the intact internal SL.  Start externally using the option key pressed at the start, do what you need with the iPhone, then stop and do what ever you need to again with SL disc.

  Cludgy, but it works.  I keep my SL still functional because there iDVD, but use updated OSXs for other purposes.

  I installed a new power supply (Seasonic 620W), which works well.  I also installed a GTX 660Ti last year and it was works fine as well.  I recently bought a ZOTAC GTX 970 and attempted to install it, but it will not go beyond the blue HP screen and I get the same code of beeps (1 long, 3 short), who, seems, suggests that the video is not initialized.

  My BIOS date is 2011.

  Where can I find an update for this?

  I'm also using Windows 10, which I found on the HP site is not tested on my model and would probably not favourable to good use.  Should I do back up to 7 or 8?  and then update the BIOS?  Y at - it a update for my BIOS and where can I find.

  If the video card that you have purchased dose not a legacy vBIOS it will never start. An update of the BIOS doesn't solve that.

  It is likely that your new video card has a vBIOS UEFI and that only is for the PC motherboards newer than yours which have a UEFI BIOS. Your motherboard has a legacy BIOS. 2012 is the year of model when the UEFI BIOS more or less became the de facto on motherboards standard.

  I return it for a refund. Find the candidate of video cards that support the old BIOS. It can be inherited only or switchable vBIOS (legacy or UEFI) vBIOS.  I suggest looking at the site of Sapphire Technology. ZoTac is not known to provide enough information about their video cards in the way. You upgrade a pre-built desktop PC and it's different and a little more difficult to set up a DIY PC. I looked at the site of Zotac and see that nothing is said about their video vBIOS cards.  I would return to the map.  Carefully read the specifications of the video card. A candidate for your motherboard card must have inherited vBIOS support or simply, it won't work.

Properly connected all power and PC connections and changed the tension but no blue led light work and impossible to turn on the monitor. Checked the power adapter - green led on the power and 12,33 volts transformer showed at the end of the output of the power supply monitor.  The monitor plug was inserted into the grip. Help, please?

  • I have two monitors.
  • My primary monitor does not work.
  • I checked the VGA cables. This isn't the issue.
  • Edit: Just realized that my main monitor is a monitor "Westinghouse". -Who is a "Plug-in-and-play" monitor, there are no drivers.
  • Reinstalled the ATI drivers, did nothing.
  • SYSTEM RESTORED, still nothing.

  I ran the most recent update for final last night, then fell asleep. Everything worked before that date, but when I went to turn on my computer this morning, only my HP [my second monitor.] w17e worked. He said he was installing updates from last night, so I had no problem with him and thought it might show something once like this on the login screen.

  Once that has happened to the login screen, it showed it for a fraction of a second before disappearing. I entered my password and it connected as usual. After login, I turned off my monitor, and then back on, and it showed my normal desktop for a moment, [enough for me to close two-three programs] before she returned empty.

  I recommend you to update the graphics drivers and see if it makes a difference. You must be logged on as administrator to perform these steps.

  What version of Windows?  You can change the DPI on Windows XP but right click on your desktop, choose Properties, selecting the tab settings, clicking on advanced and change the dropdown to DPI.  Other versions of Windows have similar steps.
