• VMWare Workstation - clone an image but not the OS license?

  I have Windows 7 and 2008 and images Linux VMWare Workstation fully licensed, with additional products installed and configured with data for a demonstration complex.  I can't give a partner (that is outside my company) because I don't have a license for redistribution of OS, so I was wondering if it is possible to make a sort of clone of my image into an image VMWare the BP prepared as fully licensed, without crushing for example the Windows license info , so not a clone of bit for bit full.  For Linux, I think I could make rsync between two images, but how can I do this on Windows with its registry etc. ?

• Issue of recovery workstation XW4400

  I got a workstation HP XW4400 years and I recently updated with a few more memory, a new graphics etc.

  I also upgraded from WinXP to Win7(ultimate/64).

  I used win7 I used to have a Recovery Manager ("HP Backup and Recovery Manager" or something) that I used to go back to factory settings, but after I installed windows 7 Recovery Manager has disappeared. I am moving back to Xp because it was much more stable and for some reason that I used to get a lot better framerates off games. The recovery partition is still there that I can't start it.

  Just get a set of recovery disc for your machine. I guess it came with XP, it's the OS that you will receive.

  Here's how to order:

  1. Enter the part number and the serial number on the top of the computer on the Silver label. The model # is a Compaq HP xw4400, but the part number is on this tag silver under the serial No.
  
  2. call HP at 1-800-952-7689, option 1 (ranking in the list in the option made restore disks).

  Is it possible to read the EXIF info to a JPEG in Cascades or Qt? I just want to be able to check the rotation display, so I don't end up post a picture on the side.

  I thought to create an image of the drive with Acronis on an external drive.
  
  
  Back home outside of me with this drive, this image of I will use VMware to charger.
  
  
  After a test inconclusive, here is my experience:
  
  
  1 - Acronis cut the 4 GB file image: is - that this poses to UN VMware problem?  Do you spend formatting from FAT32 to NTFS pour solve this problem?
  
  
  2 - VMware does not seem to read the Acronis image.  Does spotlight the extention? Convert the image?  Use an older version of Acronis?

  VMware Workstation cannot read images of Acronis but normal against V.Mware Converter knows to turn them into VM. Versions of Acronis supportati pour here are: Acronis True Image Echo, 9.1, 9.5, and Acronis True Image 10.0, 11.0 (home product).

What happens if the customer will be asked to increase the fontsize?...

  I make a layout with blocks of text separated (with placeholder text), size labels and an empty picture for the product frame, and select all and drag the page layout in the library panel. I'd do it for changes in base. And then when I added a page, drag the element type of library on the page and change the text, add the image and go to the next page.

  Edit to add. You can move a block of text using vertical offset. But that much shift, it is difficult to select the text. The screenshot shows a massive amount (65 pts if I remember correctly). Black is in fact the selected text that appears above due to the vertical offset. In short, your flying blind on editing the text unless you use the story editor.

• A website no longer works correctly. O ' k with IE. Recent updates FF18, Flash 11.5.502.146 & Win 7 (64-bit)

  www.Dallastown.NET website of the school is no longer loading the images/info correctly. Works well with IE.

  To maneuver around some by right click and open in a new tab. "Select a school" menu drop-down is a specific problem. Times many clicks of the mouse will open the page correctly. Always run into problems without response with a click or a lack of information.

  A number of updates have taken place recently, not sure where there is problem. I currently have Java disabled, but tried with it activated and no help. Uninstalled and reinstalled FireFox (18), no help. Thinking maybe a problem with FF 18 and Adobe Flash, but don't know what to do.

  I appreciate any help you can offer.

  Problem has been solved, the website now works properly. Suspect an update of FF 18.0.0 to 18.0.1 or something on the site solved the problem
