HP110-210: intermittent loss of signal

Constantly, I lose my signal (wired) internet. The average loss time is around 9-10 seconds, then resumes signal and continues on the site, I asked.  I have a router TP-Link AC1750 which I contacted and after a week of troubleshooting, they determined that this isn't their router. Likewise, they went through all my setting the adapter too.  I have PC(HP also) then one more and there is no problem of the internet. If you look at the pic below () screen, I loose connection can it resume. I have the latest drivers. I tried to reverse the ports of the router and change the cables... Any thoughts?

I was told by support for the operating system is corrupt and they will send me a new OS. It's to bad I have to pay for it, because the computer is 12 days old only... but that's what it is, I guess.

Everyone knows the signal loss on the new IPhone SE? I have 2 of them and both have repeatedly dropped calls. All solutions?

    Hello vazqma33,

I understand that your iPhone is having a problem with the abandonment of the calls. Let's see if we can get smooth it.

I know of the iPhone is new, but it's always a good idea to check the carrier updates that might come your way. To check this, go to settings > general > on and wait for a few seconds. If it is available, you will be asked to update. Another thing to check would be the relocation of the SIM card in your iPhone. Take a look to the article below that will go on how to do when your iPhone have problems with of and receive drop calls.

  • Airport Extreme intermittently lose network signal

For several days, I repeatedly lose my network signal.  I spent an excessive amount of time troubleshooting including going so far as to have a comcast tech come by today, but it's a bit like going to the doctor... When the doctor walks in the room, all of a sudden all the symptoms disappear.  Anyway, has dropped signal, network cannot be found, restart the modem and the router on a regular basis.  some time, restart allows the devices to the network.  Sometimes it doesn't.  And when that happens, it is not compliant and will lower it again anywhere from immediately or several hours later.  Comcast claims signal input in an apartment is good as well as the modem is good.  They think it is my Apple Extreme router.  However, the same missing network behavior occurred even when I bypassed the router and used a direct connection to the modem via ethernet.  For example, if the signal coming from the wall is good and the modem is good but I have the same problems even if without going through the airport, what happens?  Hope that someone out there more knowledgeable and patient I can sort this out.  I am happy to buy new hardware but want to be sure, that I need.  Comcast, recommended, of course, I get a new modem.  Motorola, of course, said that there is nothing wrong with the modem.  So now, I go to the Apple people to evaluate the remaining product that is Apple.  Thank you.

However, the same missing network behavior occurred even when I bypassed the router and used a direct connection to the modem via ethernet.

    Is your modem or ISP...

The problem occurs intermittently... the curse of living in any repair technician. If they can see what is happening, then they can work on that.

You have no choice but to continue to pursue to the ISP.

For now use mac plugged directly on the modem... and as soon as he left the ring and say that it does not work now.

    This modem do you have?

Certainly, we have experienced problems with the Modem Motorola... SB6141 is the top of the list.

The problem with the airport is well known... but I would have thought that the live Mac should be ok...

In any case a new modem is not expensive and worth it.

The zoom seems the best solution... check that it is on the list of comcast.

    Zoom modem.

  • Frequent, intermittent loss of wireless connection. Seems to be related to the problems of intellectual property

I have a problem with my connection wireless, but only from the House. The laptop connects immediately, but seems to systematically lose the connection even if the signal strength is excellent.  It seems that the IP is regularly lost during a connection and must constantly be renewed.

  • loss of signal wireless/network after reinstalling the system

I have a Pavilion g7-1070us laptop who couldn't start. I reinstalled the OS Win7 by downloading the ISO file and activated by the method of the phone.

The problem is that even after you install the network driver concerned Intel (sp57090.exe) on the site of HP driver support, I even canoe see a connection or a wireless signal.

A caveat is that, once I installed this driver from nextworking, a message pops up saying "this program cannot been installed properly" and gives you two options: 1) reinstall using recommended settings. (2) keep as is (this program has been installed properly). I chose option 1 and reinstall it was fairly smooth and no other error arises.

When I tried to troubleshoot and set up a new connection to the internet, the following error message appeared:

"Windows doesn't detect any hardware networking". I ran diagnostics disk before so he spent without any problem. It's very confusing.

    Thanks for any help!

  • Atrix 2 loss of signal - red circle or the symbol of the cross

I had my Atrix 2 a few weeks ago, and I love the phone. However, I noticed that randomly I will lose all signal and instead of a symbol of the 4 G with bars I will have a red circle with a line through it, either a grey square with a Red Cross in it. This happens even in places where I would normally signal. I have these symbols and no signal for a short period of time (a few seconds to a minute or two), and then my signal goes back.
Everyone knows this? I don't know if it's a phone or a problem of society of cell.
I look and it seems that the owners of the original Atrix has had a similar problem.

Motorola have a lot of thinking to fix with ICS for Atrix 2, there a lot of problems, signal, wifi, microsd compatibility, etc. I hope they do their job, give us a quality of the product.
    Thank you!

  • Loss of signal HDMI in Windows Media Center

I have a Dell Studio Hybrid PCs only running Windows Vista Home Edition Premium attached to a Samsung LN52A750 LCD HDTV via HDMI. If I turn on the TV away from the PC input and back, I lose the video signal... but only when Windows Media Center is running in full screen.

    It works fine:

    1. Turn on the TV.
    2. Switch to PC input on the TV.
    3. Turn on the PC.
    4. Start Windows Media Center.
    5. Turn off the PC.
    6. Turns off the TV (or switch to a different input).

    This also works very well:

    1. Turn on the TV.
    2. Switch to PC input on the TV.
    3. Turn on the PC.
    4. Start Windows Media Center.
    5. Minimize Windows Media Center.
    6. Turn on the TV to a different entry, but leave the PC.
    7. Turn on your TV to the PC - you see always the computer.

    It does NOT work:

    1. Turn on the TV.
    2. Switch to PC input on the TV.
    3. Turn on the PC.
    4. Start Windows Media Center.
    5. Turn on the TV to a different entry, but leave the PC with Windows Media Center in full screen running .
    6. Try to turn on the TV to the PC - no picture or sound is on the screen and the PC must be restarted to return sound/video fully.

I came across this problem recently (after the passage of a VGA/DVI to HDMI connection). First of all, I came across it when the PC would go to sleep - the video signal stops and the TV stop see the PC signal, even once the PC is awake. I have read a bit online and thought it was something people call a problem of 'EDID handshake. " I thought simply not let the computer sleep (and do not turn off the PC video) would fix it, but I ran into another issue. Kind of a twist.

I was showing friends how Media Center worked, I spent in the PC, showed them Windows Media Center, spent in a different entry, then switched back to the PC (because I forgot to show you something). The blue background of Media Center appeared for a split second and the signal was instantly lost. I had to reload completely in order to recover the signal.

I retried the experience - shot to the top of Media Center, active the TV away from the computer, then it passed right away - same result. Restart lost, hard signal.

I don't know how I fell on it, but at some point, I had the experience with a twist. I pulled to the top of the computer, started Media Center and reduced. Then I moved the TV away from the PC and back... and the signal was always there. I did it again, and again, the signal was there. The TV turns off and on again - signal always there. Then I enlarged Media Center, changed television away from the PC, and when I came back... NO SIGNAL.

So: with full-screen Media Center loses the signal, but when Media Center is reduced to a minimum the signal remains.

I started thinking about how my recent use of the Media Center differed from the previous time. Normally, I use the Media Center, watch a movie or something and then go and do something else. I'm back from PC to something else and back. And every time that I had spent in the PC and he had kept the signal, the screen saver has been on - the screen saver 'bubbles '.

Something that I noticed with the screensaver "Bubbles" is that it sometimes brings the Windows taskbar in the foreground so it 'up' to the Windows Media Center full screen appears. I usually turn the television on the PC input before "wake the computer" and to get the screensaver to go.

Now I wonder if the lost signal has something to do with Windows Media Center. I have [I think] know a bit the functioning of Windows and the concept of execution of different 'offices '. I wrote a screensaver in C++ unmanaged long ago and I remember there was some crazy stuff that you have to do when you write an application "windowless" (as Media Center - there is no border around it when it goes full screen) and make the "caches", as the screen saver 'bubbles '. I wonder if he has something to do with the standard Windows Desktop works correctly but the Windows Media Center app full screen "desktop" does not properly.

I tried another experience where I kept full screen WMC, leave the TV losing signal and press Win + D to minimize and show the desktop. Then I went to the TV in the back. No luck - once the signal has been lost, it was lost for good.

I did since then research various responses. I read that defining the ACPI suspend mode S3 would fix it, but it doesn't. I tried implementing a keyboard shortcut attached to a script that could change the display resolution of 640 x 480 and then change back because I read changing the resolution to update the signal - which did not work.

Basically, I got no alternative except to keep WMC reduced when it is not in use.

I'll try to set the screen saver "Bubbles" to 1 minute or something and see if that will at least let me inputs turn on the TV after one minute of inactivity. Yet, it would be good to know if there is some setting I'm missing.

    Hello Travis and Jmelton98,

Thank you for posting.  Your tests of Travis and additional post of Jmelton, it seems it will be probably something that only can be set by the video card drivers.  If you were to look at the known issues for some drivers, you would see similar questions types.  It is one of the reasons for the drivers for video cards are updated so often.  Sometimes there will be a problem so important that they will release a special patch to fix (like what happened during the crisis game is released).  There should be a new series of pilots soon become availible.

Please try and see if the problem persists.  Thank you both for the replies that it will help others too. Zack

    Hello @RobNJ101,

Please update me on your subject. Well, since you now know what is causing the problem, I suppose that the decision is to replace it or not. The part number for the TV Tuner on your computer are easy to find by simply searching online for the part number is 594509-001 When the room is not really that expensive I'm you offering instructions below on how to replace:

Step 1. First, you must remove the following components of the computer.

    • The hard drive and memory cover
    • The stand
    • The cover of the e/s
    • The feet
    • The back cover
    • The shield of the amp Board

Step 2. Remove the shield from the motherboard.

Step 3. Detach the connectors of module e/s USB on the side of the motheboard...

Step 4. ... and pull them out of the way for easy access to the card.

Step 5. Remove the antenna connector and the audio-video Jack of the card.

Step 6. Remove the two small screws of the minimap.

    Step 7. Remove the card.

  • Intermittent loss of sound on Toshiba 32BL505B

    Could someone help me please.

I bought a TV flat screen 32 inch Toshiba (model No. 32BL505B) about 14 months ago. For the last two weeks, we struggled to use the game.

Everything looks ok, for the first time, but after that the sound clicks the wide every few minutes.
To get the sound back TV must be turned off and on again.
It lasts a few minutes before it turns off again.

It's what makes the TV unusable.
I went to the Toshiba on the recommendation that they were a good reliable TV because this isn't something that I can afford to replace easily.

I'm very anxious to get to the bottom of the problem and would like assistance with this. I feel that 14 months is acceptable for the life of a TV, especially one which cost me £240.00 and the other which is not used on a basis of contant.

Maybe it's not a large sum of money to some people, but it was at great cost to my family. I really appreciate your help on this.

    > I don't feel that 14 months is acceptable for the life of a TV, especially one which cost me £240.00 and the other which is not used on a basis of contant.

I agree with you, but I think you will also agree with me that the hardware problems can happen no matter how old a device is. Televisions, but also other electronic components (computers, game consoles, smartphones, etc.) could begin to malfunction even if they are new.

I had some devices from different manufacturers in my life (laptops, PS3) who started to malfunction after a few months of use. But I always buy a new extended warranty where the devices begin to malfunction after the warranty expired.
So in this case, everything has been fixed for free.

Of course his pity if something happens like that, but I think it's nothing unusual in the world of big wide electronics.

However, in some countries (e.g. Germany), products are covered by a 24 month warranty and where the product start to malfunction, the dealer undertakes to fix the product.
Therefore, you should check this option too.

I searched various sites of Mircrosoft support and not been able to find a solution or explanation satisfatory.

    Microsoft support site (I think that is the difficulty that would help me better);

    "Fixed in this update

On a computer that is running Windows 7, you use Windows Media Center with a TV tuner analog Watch analog TV live. In this case, you receive messages from overlay low intermittent flow in Windows Media Center.

Windows Media Center monitor the inflow of over-the-air television. Without this follow-up, the bit rate very low fall when the analog input of the TV is low or does not have a signal. This causes a black screen or a static screen. With this follow-up, Windows Media Center displays a message of overlay to indicate a possible problem with the inflow during the analog input of the TV is low or does not have a signal.

However, the method that is used to monitor the inflow on analog signals is too sensitive. This may cause a false alarm of a low flow.

Note Several regions have switched over to digital broadcasting. There are hardware configurations in digital programs to convert the digital signal into an analog signal. "These configurations can include set-top boxes and digital-analog-switch-boxes".

    Richard

    Hello, Richard

Do you still have the same problem after performing the steps that was you on the list?

If so, you can try to run a SFC scan to make sure that the system files are intact: How to use the tool File Checker system to troubleshoot missing or corrupted system files on Windows Vista or Windows 7

The only other option I can think is that the signal is in fact weak and therefore, the signal is lost.

Assuming that the signal strength is good and the System File Checker was not working, the next step that I have to recommend would be to back up your files on an external and reinstall Windows:

    Install, reinstall, or uninstall Windows
    Back up your files

  • ProBook G3 450: Time assets 100% Intermittent drive with 0 kB/s read/write speed

    Hello

I am facing an active time for intermittent drive 100% with 0 kB/s reading or writing speed with my G3 450 ProBook running on 10 to win.

Meanwhile, the laptop does not. This effect always lasts exactly 60 s (visible in the Task Manager), and after that, the hard drive still responds once. Looks like some kind of timeout that happens after 60 seconds before returning to normal behavior. Sometimes the 100% active time occurs every few minutes and sometimes I can work for hours without interruption. So far I was not able to trigger the effect.

A Google search on "100% active time" returns a lot of suggestions like disable the superfetch, windows search, and the background intelligent transfer service. None of this solves the problem. The hard disk drivers (Toshiba) and the (Intel) SATA controller are up to date. I already reinstalled Win 10 who do not help either.

I have another problem with this ProBook. I don't think that this is related to this problem. However, you never know...:

I'm out of ideas. Any input is highly appreciated.

    Thank you

    Martin

Well, in the meantime, I found a solution... I bought a new HARD disk that is supported to win 10. It's a little embarrassing that HP sells the laptop with Win 10 and it does not work as it should. But anyway: problem solved.
