• HP6600: HP6600 all of a sudden do not print

  All of a sudden my HP6600 printer does not print.  Connect wirelessly to my home network without problem with an IP 192.168.0.8.  Computer IP is 192.168.0.2.  All two subnet is 255.255.255.0.  Cannot ping the printer on the network but can ping other devices.  DSL modem/gatgeway changed recently, but all other network functions work correctly.  Have you checked the DSL modem/gateway config and everything seems OK.

  Printer will print the pages of internal test without problem.  Pinter said that he is connected to the network.  Scan Doctor can't find any problems and has not fixed the problem.  Printer and printer driver has been uninstalled completely and the driver has been downloaded and installed on HP website.  Still did not fix the issue.

  I ended up solving the problem on my own.  When the new modem/access point was installed, I put the security active wireless for WPA-2 personal with AES and TKIP.  Don't know why, but the TKIP was the origin of the problem.  I changed the AES security only, and the problem is solved.

  Now, printer works properly and is considered by my other devices my network wireless and wireline portions.

  Yes JO 6600 can perform reduce\enlarge option. To do that, please see the following.

  Copy the Menu > settings > resize > check the required option.

  I am trying to set up my printer HP6600 for fax and every time I go to the printer to set up the fax settings... .the printer responds that the fax is disabled and to contact the administrator. Please help me. Thank you

  I read your post on your Officejet showing 6600 fax is disabled and wanted to send you my suggestion that might help! I recommend you try the restore to factory settings to see if this will help to clear the error on the printer. Let me know what happens!

  On the printer, select Setup, tools, Restore Factory Defaults, Yes, restart the printer

• Wireless printing problem: Mac OS 10.5 to HP6600 all-in-One

  My customer just bought a printer all-in-one HP OfficeJet 6600. Naturally, the CD than canme with the printer is for a newer Mac OS, so it wouldn't install.

  I was able to locate and download the printer drivers for Mac OS 10.5 and install without any problems.

  It appears the connectivity without wire between the MacBook with Mac OS 10.5 and the HP6600 is in place, when attempting to print to the HP6600 however, it just says it's printing and nothing out of the printer.

  I need a few steps of troubleshooting for this issue.

  OK this means there is a problem of communication while connected wireless. Make sure that the printer and the computer are on the same network SSID and if yes then try to access the EWS - Server Web integrated printer by typing IP address allocated to the printer in the address bar of Safari. Let me know what you find?

  My 6600 seems to drop our wifi signal every few minutes.  I can not connect to the printer from any device without wire (iMac, HP desktop or laptop).  I tried the unplug reset twice and entered manually our wifi information.  Any advice on how to improve our connection?

  Thank you dzanotti. Assuming you have a "HP Officejet 6600 e-all-in-one printer - H711a/H711g' is a specific document to: printer does not maintain the wireless connection.

  On your computer, navigate to the Application folder, and then open the application font book, under all the fonts (left side), find Courier. If there is a yellow triangle next to Courier, there is an error, click on e-mail and click on solve automatically.

  -72 is a better signal (closest to 0 is better).  Channel 1 will be through walls and ceilings breath better than any other channel while my be the cause of improving.

  Let's define an external static IP and DNS address for the printer:

  -Print a the front of the printer Network Setup Page. Note the IP address of the printer.
  -Enter the IP address in a browser to reveal the internal settings of the printer.
  -Choose the network tab, then wireless along the left side, then on the IPv4 tab.
  -On this screen, you want to set a manual IP address. You must assign an IP address outside the range that the router sets automatically (called the DHCP range). If you do not know the range, change the last set of numbers (those after the last '.') 250
  -Apply the subnet 255.255.255.0 (unless you know it's different, if so, use it)
  -Enter the IP of your router (on the Page of the Network Config) for the gateway.
  -Enter for the first DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 for second DNS. It's Google DNS. You can choose a different external DNS if you wish.
  -Click 'apply '.

  Now, stop the router and printer, start the router, wait, and then start printing.

  After that, you will have to redo 'Add printer' using the new IP address.

  Every inkjet printer, I have never had provides a utility to "clean the print heads" what weird colors appear in printed documents.

  It doesn't seem to be something like that with your device and everything will out "a bit greenish".

  I think your laptop always think it's a connection by USB cable to the printer instead of a Wi - Fi connection.  I've included the document set up printer for a wireless or network wired for the HP Officejet 6600 e-all-in-one and 6700 Premium e-All-in-One Printer Series .  Please click on article Windows 8 and that he steps from Wired USB to wireless.

  Answered this question 3 years ago, but there is no longer the response page. The problem, however, still exists. Can I do something to stop the infernal squeaking before each page is loading, or require a work shop?  The 6600 is only 3 months, is under warranty, but we cannot be without a printer. More annoying for a whole new product!

  I agree with you, a printer squeaky is a big trouble, especially a new printer. Apart from cleaning the drive rollers and searching for paper jams, I can only suggest calling HP Support team.

• Officejet6600: HP6600 poor print quality

  Hello

  I'm contiinually having to perform the function of print head cleaning before I can print with my Officejet 6600. Once the cleaning is finished, the print quality is fine. Before market more printing is smudged, blurred, or missing, and is often black only (i.e. without dye).

  The printer is around the age of 6 months and had this problem of 1 day (I know, I'm lazy). I seem to be consuming almost all of my ink just get clean print heads.

  According to the HP tool, the print heads are ok. The cartridges do not seem to be a vent in them, this correct?

  I would appreciate any suggestions, please?

  I was about to call HP support Australian. I had to make some impression so used the 6600 and it now works perfectly. I used it several times last week and he has not missed a beat.
